Now comes the end of the dance. Back and forth, back and forth. Shisou was pleased to see that someone had grasped the finer details of battle instead of striking madly like a peasant or a human. He was quite skilled, too, possessing the grace that came with mastery of the art. She was quite happy to keep up this dance for a while, knowing that she wouldn't meet someone so skilled in a long time. Finally, though, she decided that it was time to end this. She took the offensive, slicing at his body with her fans as she entered the final stages of her dance.

"Impressive." The Champion said casually as the dagger sunk into his body. "I suspected you might have a last ditch effort, but I wasn't sure." The swords vanished, releasing the whip, and he pulled the dagger out of his forearm where it had lodged, tossing it casually back to Katherine. The bleeding from the wound didn't concern him that much, it seemed.
Meanwhile the clone that Shisou had been fighting simply allowed her to strike home with her fans, dissipating like the others had. "I have a proposition for both of you." He continued, ignoring the fact that they'd been fighting a while ago. "You're both only somewhat skilled with controlling your darkness... I highly doubt either of you have had a proper challenge in a while. How would you two like to help me restore darkness back to its true strength? I'm sure with the people you'll fight alongside me, your power will be put to a true test."

I'm listening... The dagger hit its target and was tossed back to her afterward, this one seemingly not one of the clones. She caught it successfully and put it away, not releasing the hold on her whip. There was no real way to know if he was going to continue this fight or not, but she wasn't going to take chances. She looked away from him for a moment to watch as the other fight, the talented dancer she was, take care of the other clone quite well before the swordsman stopped.
Ah, no more fight then. Well, that was fun for at least a little while. But now the swordsman was propositioning something to both of them. To put it bluntly, he wanted help in restoring darkness to its 'true strength', whatever that may be. If they fought alongside him, their power would be put to a true test. Katherine's interest was grabbed.
Unfortunately, not all the way. She put her whip away and crossed her arms, giving him a skeptical look. "What else is in it for us then if we choose to go help you?" she asked, "What do we get out of this when all is said and done? More darkness is all fine and good, but is there anything else of interest that can be gained from aiding you?" Even though she referred to both of the women there, she was speaking for herself more. Sure, she'd fight alongside this swordsman and help him... if she got something decent out of it besides a good fight. A fight only lasts so long anyway.

Do I have to work with the human? She listened carefully to the fighter's proposal, pointedly ignoring the human's inane, stupid remarks. Material gain. The greedy little peasant. She obviously couldn't see the value of a great battle. Shisou was interested. She cared little for light or darkness (although out of the two darkness was far more preferable), but the promise of a large fight, one that would challenge her? Why, that was perfect. She was so happy that she almost slipped into her other form. No, that wouldn't do. The strange, powerful creature in front of her temporarily possessed her fleeting respect, and she wasn't going to disgrace herself by changing into such an irritating, moody form. "Interesting proposal. If it means a great battle, then I gratefully accept such an offer," she said, and shot an annoyed glance at the girl. If she joined, then Shisou might be kept from killing her...but that didn't mean she had to like the idiot peasant girl one bit.

"I can guarantee you, if put to the test your power and control over said power will grow, much like night follows day." The Champion said. "If that alone is not enough, then I do not have truly anything more suitable to offer you. Material gain is not my style, although if need be I could find something valuable. I would prefer not to do so, however."
He turned away, looking off into the distance. "Those who fight merely to be paid can be paid more from another side and switch. I prefer to trust my allies."

Just don't get in my way. That was definitely enough for her. She didn't really need gold right now. What use would it serve her anyway? She had everything she needed and everything she wanted for the moment. That was subject to change of course, but she didn't need payment in that sort of way. Power growing was all she needed. She grinned to this, nodding her head.
"Couldn't have been said better," she told him, "That's good enough for me." The other seemed content, though the two obviously weren't going to be fighting as best friends side-by-side. Katherine didn't particularly care what the other did as long as it didn't involve killing her or getting in her way. Since neither of those were feasible now, it worked out well. "When and where is this big fight then?" That was all she needed to know. She didn't care for how many people were going to be there; he said big fight, so that meant a lot of people. What else was there to know?

"In two days, in the Keyblade Graveyard, there will be a great fight." As he spoke, a strange greatsword, dull gray in color and seeming, somehow, more REAL than anything else, appeared in his hands. He waved it in front of him and images appeared in front of him, showing the Keyblade Graveyard. "A good deal of fighters for light and darkness are gathering to clash there, and this has been started by me. And during the fight... Well. That's not important." The images disappeared, as did the sword.
He turned back to them, a strange look on his face. "Can both of you create portals?"

This should be interesting then. A fight at this place called the Keyblade Graveyard, one that the swordsman showed the both of them with his sword. It looked like a desert land, a large open one at that. It would be the perfect place for a large battle to occur. The word 'keyblade' struck familiar with her. Didn't a Keyblade Master visit her world a year or so ago? She couldn't remember, but she heard rumors of it. And he saved it from getting destroyed by other pirates, or something.
He was definitely going down along with the rest. Killing would be fun-- she'd gone a long time without doing so and the rush was just exhilarating. He asked if both of them could use portals, giving them a strange look. He was a strange looking man, black skin and red hair. Katherine didn't know what to make of him, but answered his question nonetheless. "No, but I can get to the world within a day's travel," she answered matter-of-factly.

Further proof of the human's uselessness, as if it was needed. Of course the human couldn't make portals. The Keyblade Graveyard...yes, she knew where that was. She'd been to it before. Such a dreary place, although the isolation was nice. It was good that he didn't go into the details, because Shisou didn't honestly care all that much. "Yes, I can." A day's journey...pathetic.

"Then I charge you with a task." He pointed at Shisou. "The fight will, in all likelihood, end in a stalemate or draw, with no clear cut victory. Should such be the case, then she is the only one I know who will fight alongside me that cannot escape through a portal." He shook his head. "I will not allow my allies to be captured, but neither can I take her with me when I leave."
He let out a smirk. "There is no time for her to learn how to make a portal, so therefore there is but one solution. When you leave, you must take her with you through the portal."

...Damn it all. Shisou had to cart around the human? The human? Well, if she got herself into trouble Shisou certainly wasn't going to be saving any lives. If she was in danger of being captured, then Shisou would take the more favorable option of killing her before she was lost. Hmph. She'd die in the battle anyway. "Understood. It will be done," she said, and disappeared through a portal. It was time to find someplace that wasn't full of annoying humans with whips.

Fine. Even with this powerful swordsman, and with allies, the fight was not going to end with a victory. As long as killing people was involved, it was fine with Katherine. Though, working along with this other one would be difficult. They were going to have to during the fight, but after that was a different story. And where they would go after the fight was also questionable. Could she trust this other woman to even make that portal for her? Unfortunately, she'd have to it seemed. And then figure out how to use them on her own.
The other left, leaving her and the swordsman alone temporarily. She didn't have anything to add nor did she want to say much of anything. "Two days then," she said, turning around and going back to her ship. She was never one for proper good-byes anyway.

"Hmm." The Champion said after they both left, musing to himself. "More allies than anticipated... perfect for my plans." A grin crossed his face. "The war will begin, and soon enough my plans will come to fruition. All I need to is gather what is necessary..." A grim look crossed his face. "And kill those in my way while preventing my own death. But my power is far greater than what they can muster against me... we'll see what happens." With a flash of a golden sword, the Champion vanished.
