Move Along, Now, Move Along Unfortunately, Mickey's suspicions were confirmed. He watched Kadaj walk over to them--well, dramatically strut was more like it--and voice the typical sarcastic greeting that was always ready to escape his mouth. The king only half-paid attention to Kadaj for the moment and slid his gaze to the second man with him. Even though there were differences in their appearance despite their similar outfit choices and hair color, Mickey could tell they were related somehow. It might have been a silly thought, but the mouse king wondered what sort of mother these two had had for them to turn out like this. Kadaj had only brought words to bear for the time being, so Mickey made no move to start a fight. As long as Kadaj was merely hanging around to taunt, Mickey wouldn't give him the satisfaction of an acknowledgment with his keyblade. He hoped that Leon would follow his lead. The last thing Radiant Garden needed right now was another destructive fight. He also wouldn't give Kadaj the satisfaction of a sarcastic response. "If you don't have any urgent business here, Kadaj, you should probably just keep moving. Unless you're into hard labor. And helping people."

Now's Not the Time Upon Faas' explanation, Leon's first thought was that the young man shouldn't be judging people just be what they look like. Then he saw the silver-haired man and heard Mickey's warning about him. This time, judging a book by its cover seemed to be a pretty accurate representation. Just looking at him sent a chill down Leon's spine. To make matters worse, the man even approached them and acted friendly towards the King, the smug brat. " Like the King said: unless you're here to help, I'd like to ask you to leave." When both Kadaj and his brother approached them, Leon could swear that he felt a small hint of familiarity with them. No, not with them, but with their darkness. He'd felt it before, but couldn't recall where it was. " No, it doesn't matter. As long as they don't cause any problems with us or the world, they're not important. They just want to give us a reason to strike first."

Don't Gotta Tell Me Twice Kadaj sure seemed ready to get the fun started. Not like that was any real surprise. And by that malicious little look in his eyes, Loz had a feeling things were about to get very interesting. They had just arrived at the Marketplace, which appeared to be quite the hot spot. Good. "Now that we've found some people to play with, I guess the games can begin, can't they?" He started to laugh, but stopped when his brother began to tell him something. Scanning the area, he saw the person-- or... mouse-- that he was referring to. So Kadaj already knew him, eh. Well, then he could have the mouse guy. There were plenty of other citizens around that would work perfectly. "Oh, of course not." he replied with another smile. Although he had hardly gotten the first word out of his mouth when the other remnant turned to go greet his old acquaintance. Speaking of rude. Quickly forgetting his annoyance, he followed after him, over to the mouse and his friends. Kadaj walked up being completely friendly, but the other side definitely didn't feel too interested in giving either of them a polite greeting. Loz crossed his arms, and turned his head to the side. "You know brother, your friend here seems to be acting awfully rude. After all, we just came to have some fun." Smiling, he brought his gaze to the brown haired man with the weird looking sword. He was sure coming off as a downer. Almost as depressing as Cloud, and that was saying something. Not that that mattered. Loz wasn't looking for a great conversationalist, just someone who could put up a decent fight. "Sorry, but Kadaj has unfinished business to settle with mouse-man here. Guess that leaves you to me." With that, he charged at his new opponent, leaping towards him and sending his metal-covered fist swinging right towards his solemn face.

Kadaj grew a slight pout lip to the answers he received from Mickey and this other guy. They didn't seem to want him around did they? Mickey told him that if he didn't want to help and do hard labor, he needed to go away. That caused him to glare at the mouse. He was helping people by doing what he was doing; just because the mouse was too blind to see it didn't mean anything. He was helping by getting the darkness back out there; if the darkness didn't get back out there, then the worlds would be in trouble.
"They are being rude aren't they? I was only stopping by to say hello!" His tone was jovial as he smiled at the two standing before him. Loz would be able to see through his words, though there was a small speck of truth to them. He didn't start a battle yet, even though he could if he wanted to. He looked over to see Loz starting a fight with the brown haired man, leaving him to stand there. He remained where he was for the time being, staring Mickey down.
"You can fight me if you want," he taunted, waving his hand, "I don't start fights. I only end them." He knew that if Mickey wanted to start a fight, he would. Though, those like him didn't fall to taunting that easily; they didn't like 'stooping down to his level'. Oh, but they couldn't! That was the beauty of it; Kadaj found that one could only step up to his level; you'd have to so you could fight the silver-haired swordsman. Mickey was a good fighter too, making him the perfect opponent for Kadaj.

Go Talk to a Wall Maybe I'm A Lion[/center] " Typical." That was Leon's thought as he saw the man go to strike him. He quickly drew his gunblade, raising it just in time to block the punch, but he didn't expect the man's strength to be so much that it knocked him off of his feet. Leon flew backwards, barely sticking a landing on the rubble of a collapsed building. He closed his eyes, turned his head to the side a little, and let out a small, " Ha." Without a moment's notice, he immediately charged towards his assailant, the tip of his gunblade scraping against the ground and sending a shower of sparks in its wake. As soon as he got within a few yards of Loz he turned on his heels and spun around, swinging his gunblade in a wide arc and stopping a few inches short of Loz's face. He wondered how long it would take Loz to notice the small red orbs of fire that surrounded them. Squall uncharacteristically smirked, and pulled the trigger of his blade, setting off the blasts. How Do You Deal With Petulant Children? Kadaj's brother sure was trigger happy, even if Kadaj himself wasn't nearly so impulsive. For the moment. His mouth certainly wasn't afraid to run wild, though. Mickey watched the brother launch himself at Leon, only to have Leon quickly retaliate. The king really didn't think he had anything to worry about on that front. Leon could take care of himself. And, if what Leon had told him was true, these two were nothing compared to the force that had decimated Radiant Garden only a short while ago. However, what did worry Mickey was the damage that would be further inflicted upon the marketplace due to a fight. He felt that he needed to remind Leon of this fact, but then Kadaj spouted more taunts at him. Mickey turned his full attention back to Kadaj with a neutral expression on his face. “Do you mean the way you 'ended' our fight back on Land of Dragons?” The arrogance of this man was almost successfully wriggling underneath Mickey's skin. But he still made no move to summon his keyblade or attack Kadaj. Even if he really wanted to. He proceeded to ignore Kadaj, turning to face in Leon's direction, and shouted, “Leon, just ignore them! If ya do, they'll probably go away!”

The king didn't have to say much at all and Kadaj's blood was starting to boil. That fight had been ended for him because it was a three-on-one fight and Maleficent had chosen to leave him alone; that coward of a witch was going to pay for that later. He had been forced to leave because he knew that against three somewhat decent fighters, it would have taken a little more than his skill to beat them successfully. He counted it as a loss, which was something he just hated doing.
And Mickey knew that and was taunting him with it. Kadaj would just have to deal with the witch later and focus on the mouse. "So sorry that fight had to end so quickly," he said, that same sort of taunting tone in his voice, "I was having fun too, were you? Maybe we can fix that here." He grinned, staring the mouse down. Intimidation wasn't something that worked well on the mouse at all, so he needed to start this quickly. Loz had already started his fight anyway; he needed to do the same. This fight was more fair than the last one anyway.
Within the blink of an eye, Souba was out and his onslaught of attacks began. He rushed at Mickey quickly and began with three successive blows, knowing the king would probably be able to block at least one of them with the keyblade. He was a fast fighter, but Kadaj could be faster if he needed to be. In Radiant Garden, he had more to work with for surroundings. He could use that to his advantage too if he needed to.

Demyx wasn't really having any luck finding out much about the damage that had happened here. Either the person he asked didn't know or there was a person who might recognize hima sbeing part of the Organization, so he avoided being spotted by those people. And he really couldn't tell who it was based on the damage, probably someone they hadn't come across before by the looks of it. Even he would remember someone that powerful.
He was now standing on one of the roofs still intact surveying the damaged area. "I still don't get why Zexion told me to come here....its not like I can really determine who did this..." he complained. It was then his attention was driven over to a restoration committee member who was talking to the king. Apparently he was in town now. Though those guys were interrupted by two silver haired men.
"What's going on down there..?" he asked aloud to himself as he watched. Soon a fight broke out between them. Demyx stood there and watched. Partly because he was interested and partly because it wasn't like he had anything better to do.

Is That The Best You Can Do? His opponent managed to block Loz's first attack. Though the power of it did manage to send him backwards. The slight look of surprise that the man had momentarily had gave him a smug sense of satisfaction. Of course he would be surprised by the remnants mighty strength. Still, the move didn't actually cause any damage. But hey-- that hadn't really been something he hadn't already been expecting. The main purpose of the punch wasn't to do too much damage, but only to initiate the fight. It was a nice alternative to having to do a bunch of boring talking. But now that they had all of that out of the way, the real fun could begin. Suddenly, the brown-haired swordsman began charging straight towards him, his sword right behind him, creating a bright trail of sparks. Well, wasn't someone trying to be very flashy. As he began to near him, he jumped into the air, coming down in a large sword slash. Loz raised his left hand to block the attack with his Dual Hound. But, surprisingly, the attack stopped short before it actually came close enough to make contact. Well that was strange. He was about to inform the man that his aim didn't appear to be very good, when we then noticed the small glowy-red-spheres that had shown up around them. Which seemed equally as strange, since they weren't actually doing anything. That was, until without warning, they all exploded right in front of him. The detonation of the orbs was only barely surprising to Loz, and hadn't inflicted a terribly large amount of damage either. Hmph. Nothing more than a tiny little scratch. If anything it had just made him annoyed. Quickly regaining his composer, he brought both hands flying up onto either flat side of the blade that was still pointed right at him. With one strong jerk, he ripped the sword out of it's wielder's hands, and sent it soaring to half-way across the Marketplace onto a pile of building wreckage. Pleased with his handiwork, he grinned at the now weaponless man. "Bet you're worried now that you don't have your little toy to fight with." And he probably would be pretty defenseless without it. Deciding to test this theory out, Loz took a small step backwards on his left foot, before bringing his right up in a kick aimed for the guy's chest.

Heart of a Lion Leon pretty much expected that to happen--Loz disarming him--should Loz not be fazed by Fated Circle's explosions. That said, he wasn't at all surprised by Loz's attempt at a counter attack, and when he did make that move, Leon simply jumped backwards, avoiding the kick. His opponent had great strength, that was for sure, and that gauntlet on his left hand made Leon sure to be cautious around him. One hit from that could do some serious damage if he wasn't careful. " Worried? I'm not some child like you." Leon thought with distaste. This man was annoying, and immature--two things Leon would rather do without right now. And like all children who get out of control, it's best to remind them who's in charge. " Pride comes before the fall." Looking to his left, he saw a rather sturdy, solid steel pipe that was at least four feet in length. Picking it up, he held it like his gunblade, and waited for Loz's attack. " What are you waiting for?" He heard Mickey's plea to stop fighting, but knew that that wouldn't be possible. At least, not possible now. It was clear that talking with this man wouldn't change his mind, nor did Leon feel the need to even attempt to talk it out. He could feel the darkness from these two, and it wasn't a small amount either--it was as if they were entirely born from it. Neither of them would be allowed to roam free or cause any harm to this world, and Leon would make sure that they were stopped.

So, That's the Way it's Gonna Be, Huh? Mickey's hopes that Leon would somehow be able to prevent a fight were in vain, it seemed. Though, the mouse king didn't blame Leon for that. Unlike the king, Leon had a much more personal stake in the safety of this world, and Mickey didn't doubt that the brown-haired swordsman would defend Radiant Garden with every ounce of his strength. He would do the same if his own world was being threatened. In the space of a heartbeat, his thoughts shifted to his queen. Wish I didn't have to leave ya so often. Stay strong.Kadaj was saying something that barely registered in Mickey's ears. They twitched as he turned back to look at Kadaj. But he didn't have time to say anything in reply before the swordsman attacked him. The Kingdom Key D was in Mickey's hand in a flash of light, though he was unable to bring it to bear in time to completely block the first strike, which ended up glancing off his keyblade onto his shoulder. However, this served only to anger the mouse king beyond simple annoyance. After fending off the remainder of Kadaj's strikes, Mickey went on the offensive. Though they both seemed to be evenly matched for the moment, Mickey was content to bide his time, waiting until their two weapons clashed and ground against one another for more than a few seconds. With Kadaj practically at point-blank range, Mickey suddenly whipped his free gloved hand up and summoned a luminous sphere that didn't have far to travel before it reached its intended target. The force of the attack pushed the king backward several paces, but he kept his balance and assessed the results of his efforts. [Summary: Mickey used Pearl. Another silver haired youth happened to be silently watching this whole ordeal when his two brothers decided to start making a mess of things. He wasn't there when they got here, and he doubted they'd realized yet that Yazoo was in fact near by, but he didn't care too terribly. And although he "loved" his brothers dearly, he was more prone to waiting for the right time to strike than to rushing into battle. This hunter was far more patient than the others, taking after his father in yet another way.
When Leon picked up a pipe as a make-shift weapon, Yazoo drew his guns, took a running start, and lept off the short remains of a building. He took aim and fired twelve times, six shots per gun. With Leon's back facing his new attacker, it was doubtful he'd be able to dodge or block many of the bullets, especially when they were traveling much faster than he assumed Leon could move. Yazoo's movements weren't done yet though. After firing his weapons, he proceeded to do a flip, and land just to the side of Loz. He turned and gave Leon a cold, bitter stare.

Well Hello There! Just like before, the mouse and him were pretty evenly matched. Mickey hadn't been able to block his first blow completely, but the rest he did. He was a very good fighter, the only one that Kadaj thought was worth fighting at this moment. He continued to deliver some blows, all of which the mouse seemed to block. That's how the fight would probably go on unless Kadaj did something to change that, or the mouse used a special ability or something. The silver haired man didn't like using fancy abilities like that, never feeling the need to; though, if he was going to keep running into this mouse, he might as well invest some time in learning something new.
Mickey did use an ability on him and Kadaj didn't have too much of a chance to dodge it. He put his sword in front of him to catch the brunt of the blow, but he was still sent back a ways. He stayed on his feet, giving the mouse an incredulous look. Though, that look quickly changed into a grin as he heard familiar shots fired; Yazoo was right on time, as usual. He was helping out Loz at the moment, who seemed to be having fun with that other swordsman. Though, now that the brothers were together, everything was made more interesting.
"Nice of you to join us Yazoo," he said, his tone holding genuine cheerful inflections. His brothers were the only people he actually liked to be around and Yazoo joining their little fight here made things a hell of a lot more fun for him. He kept this grin of his as he looked back at Mickey, not bothering to taunt him and instead just running straight for him to deliver some more blows. He had to find some openings to catch Mickey off-guard, something that could easily be done with his sort of speed.

Maybe I Should Just... Stand Over There Hmm. So King Mickey knew the two guys he had seen? Or, at least he thought he might. And from the sounds of things, if they were who he thought they were, Radiant Garden was about to be in for some trouble. Before Leon could say anything, the suspicions were confirmed as the silver-haired men came strolling over to them. Their appearances, particularly their unusual hair and eye colors, gave Faas the feeling that hey were somehow related, probably brothers. The shorter one, walking ahead of the other, stopped in front of Mickey, addressing him sarcastically. Both he and Leon were very clear in their message: leave now. Unfortunately, Kadaj, as his name apparently was, and his brother didn't appear to be planning on leaving any time soon. The bigger of the duo, in both height and bulkiness, suddenly attacked Leon. He sure looked pretty tough, but Faas figured that if anyone could take care of themselves if was the mighty Restoration Committee's leader. Glancing back towards Kadaj and his Majesty, he saw that they still seemed to have not started fighting yet. They were just talking... Though "taunting" would probably be a more fitting word than "talking". From what he understood, they had crossed paths before in the "Land of the Dragons", wherever that was. Of course, no surprise, it didn't take long for violence to erupt between them either. Faas's attention was quickly caught as something large and shiny went flying over his head. Turning to the pile of debris where it had landed, he recognized it immediately. Leon's gunblade? Well that wasn't good. He considered going to fetch it for him, seeing as he had yet to do much else helpful in the situation, when he noticed something much more urgent. Another silver-haired man-- or woman, he wasn't entirely sure at the current distance, had showed up out of nowhere and had just fired a spray of bullets at Leon's back. Uh oh. Chances were, he wouldn't have to acknowledge the attack and dodge it in time. Without any time to think, he jumped forward, sending a blast of ice shards behind Leon to try to block all of the oncoming small metal projectiles. Having taken care of the immediate danger, it occurred to him how bad the current situation really was. As if two dangerous silver-haired men weren't enough, now there were three. Yes, at a closer distance he had determined that the new opponent was also male. "Umm..." he said to Leon, trying to decide what exactly to say. He didn't want to be negative, but the new odds were making Faas feel pretty uncomfortable. Leon couldn't likely take on two of them at once, and the boy honestly wouldn't even be able to handle one of them by himself. What they needed now was some reinforcements of their own; hopefully that wish would come true, and fast. More importantly: there better just not be any more brothers showing up any time soon. Short-Handed It seemed that Pearl had not fazed Kadaj beyond a simple look of surprise. Mickey barely had time to feel disappointment, though, for Kadaj's incredulity soon turned to something resembling delight. The source of this newly found happiness was yet another silver-haired fighter, this one wielding two firearms rather than a sword. The king would bet munny that this third person--Yazoo, apparently--was also a brother of sorts to Kadaj. He doubted they were true brothers in the sense of common bloodlines. The aura surrounding Kadaj and the other two was dripping with darkness, suggesting that perhaps the three had been born out of the darkness itself. It was an intriguing concept and one that would have to be examined in greater detail later. It would most definitely have to be later, since Kadaj was now barreling down on Mickey in what appeared to be a straightforward, uninhibited assault. Rather than attempt to engage his enemy directly, the king danced off to the side and watched Kadaj rush right past him. This gave Mickey time to notice the blizzard spell that materialized to spare Leon the agony of several bullets penetrating his back. The king glanced in the direction of Faas who was at least wisely attempting to stay well out of range. Should Yazoo decide to go after the boy, however, Mickey wasn't sure how well he would be able to fend off the gunman and Kadaj. The former had the advantage of ranged attacks. The latter seemed to have it in for the king. Mickey wished one or more of the other RGRC members would show up to help. That would be nice. As expected, it didn't take long for Kadaj to regain his balance. Mickey held his keyblade in a defensive position across his body. Just for the moment, of course. "Got quite the family, doncha? How many 'brothers' do ya even have?"
