Are You Busy? A Corridor of Darkness sounded near the group of people, a single figure coming out of it. A Dusk swam out of it, swimming through the air as the Corridor closed behind it. It looked on to the group that had formed, four people in the area. However, only one of them was of actual importance to the Dusk, or at least the Dusk's master. It landed on the ground, standing on its two feet as it stood not too far away from the group. It did not want to get caught up in this, nor could it; its master would not be too pleased.
It seemed that a small little fight of sorts was going on, a girl taking an entire lamp post and using it as a weapon against the red head. If it were the Dusk's master involved and not the Dusk, that attempt would have been stopped. However, the Dusk simply watched and waited for events to unfold, hoping that no one would notice it or attack it. The group seemed rather... unstable to say the least, particularly the girl who was using the lamp post to attack. Though, to the Dusk, the only one that appeared at least somewhat normal was Axel.
When Axel got the chance, he would hear the Dusk's message. "My Master has sent me to obtain a status report. Have you made any progress with the task he asked of you?" It was obvious that these weren't the Keyblade Masters, though the Dusk was a messenger, not one to assess a situation. It stood with its arms at its sides, eerily moving in place as it waited for an answer. As soon as it got that, it would leave and avoid any attacks.

Somebody Never Learned the Virtue of Patience
The bird guy had decided to perch on top of the lamp post and was trying to encourage crazy lady to let Axel leave. Finally, someone with something sane to say. But apparently, the woman was none too happy about that. The Buttons guy in the lady's head--at least, he assumed Buttons was in the lady's head--was now egging her on to kill the bird guy because he was trying to help Axel escape.
If she's distracted, maybe I can--
Or not. Bird guy was now raining many colorful insults down on the woman as she uprooted the post he currently occupied. And if that wasn't enough, she was wielding the thing as a weapon. Axel barely had time to voice his disbelief before the post was angling for him. And then several things happened at once.
The sailor guy who had wandered up managed to duck out of the way. Bird guy was tumbling in the air, still shouting insults. A Corridor of Darkness appeared off to the side, and a Dusk popped out. Crazy woman was just about to connect the lamp post with his chest. Axel heard the creature's message, and shouted out, “Little busy here!” And then the Flame instinctively summoned his own Corridor of Darkness.
The post missed him, and he quickly reappeared several feet away from the scene. However, he was careful not to go outside the woman's field of view, unwilling to set her off further. He took a moment to collect himself, then eyed the Dusk swaying nearby. Oh, so Mr. Schemer expected lightning-fast results, did he? Hadn't the two of them talked just a day or so ago?
“No,” he said as levelly as possible to the Dusk. “No, I haven't made any progress yet.” He beckoned the Nobody closer with an index finger. “C'mere. I've gotta make sure you really get this next part.” The Dusk wobbled a little closer, but it wasn't close enough for Axel. “No, closer. Really close.” Now, the Dusk was mere inches from him, expecting some deep secret it could take back to its master. Instead, Axel curled his fingers into a fist and punched the creature dead in its face. While it reeled, Axel relaxed into his casual manner once more and pointed at the Nobody grunt. “Feel free to pass that along to your master. And make sure he knows its sent directly from me. With all the love in my non-existent heart.” His eyes shifted back over to the three oddballs, though he added one more thing for the Dusk to convey. “You can tell him he'll get his answers. These things just take some time. So, tell him not to get his hair in a wad.”

Buttons knows best. --
Loru tossed the lamp post away. Red had disappeared. Tears welled up in her eyes as she searched for him. Of course, she didn't think to turn around, only caring about what was in her current line of sight. Speaking of which... two people to kill now. There was a newcomer that had tried to stop her. Loru had tried to just take him out too but he was quick and had dodged it. She stamped her bare foot against the cement. " I always listen to Buttons. Buttons is always right," she said, pouting. " And he says you two are bad bad people! And do you know what happens to bad people? Bad things happen to bad people, bad bad bad things things things." She reached into her coat and pulled a pair of tonfa from her sash. " Just like what happened in the Bad Place. All the bad people... I killed them all! Just like Buttons said." She cocked her head and smiled, raising her arms into a battle stance. " Kill you both, splash in your blood! Won't that be fun, just like a mud puddle? Maybe Red will come back then, he'll want to play with me!" She took off running suddenly, towards Ain because he was on the ground and directly in front of her. She lashed out, aiming for his head.

So you won't listen to reason, I have no choice. Ain backed away quickly and ducked away, a weapon like a Tonfa requires a closing distance to connect with a hit and though he wasn't really fearful of such a weapon. It was apparent however that the strength she revealed probably meant it would be difficult to block a strike from it so evasion would be the best bet while taking advantage of errors made by the crazy red head. His eyes looked forward at Loru as he clasped his gauntlet in front of him, a silver blade shot out, the blades length was that of a short sword. With his sword gauntlet at ready he pulled back more to keep a distance, will she follow him or will she remain still after her attack missed. Combat came naturally to him to him, but at the same time he did not enjoy such a event. What would be gained from fighting this person, nothing at all probably. His eyes looked to the spikey haired man and the angel guy, everyone was pretty strange looking and he regreted his attempt at ignoring them. If he had paid more attention perhaps he could have avoided a battle, a thought much too late. "Odd weapon choice, do you like to fight with those?" he stated dryly as he pulled a bit more off towards the docks.

Don't Shoot the Messenger! If the Dusk could actually feel anything, or think much more for itself, it might be angry at what Axel just did. However, that was not the case and it went reeling back as it was punched in the face by the Flame. When it landed somewhere in the air, it simply swam back to Axel, landing in front of him again. It was not sure how it was going to deliver that message back to Zexion, seeing as how it did not have hands of any sort and it would end up resembling a flail. There was also the fact that Zexion would not appreciate the gesture at all.
"He wished for me to check your status, seeing if you have arrived at your destination safely," the Dusk told Axel, though to anyone else it looked like it was just standing there. While that was what Zexion told the Dusk to say, Axel's safety most likely was not of terrible importance to him. "I will report to him and tell him that you made it to Destiny Islands; he did not trust you to make it here." This was direct proof that Dusks were not exactly the most intelligent creatures some of the time; Zexion had not meant to have that said, knowing that Axel would be less than pleased to hear it. Though, he should not be surprised; neither of them did like trusting anyone.
"Please note that I will not be able to pass that message along. He requests that any messages you wish to convey be done once you have completed your task." This was all the Dusk had left to say, not wanting to stay around this area any longer than this. It disappeared through a Corridor of Darkness before Axel could inflict anymore pain upon it.

Are You Going to Let Me Leave This Time?
Axel knew his punch wouldn't really do much against the Dusk, but it had been a nice release of increasingly pent-up frustration, anyway. The Nobody merely recoiled, then slithered back over to him. It was offering him an explanation now of why it was sent. Zexion didn't trust him to steer clear of trouble on the way to Destiny Islands, apparently. Well, Axel didn't completely trust Zexion not to stab him in the back by conveniently letting it slip to Xemnas where he currently was.
Why did he suddenly feel as though Zexion was treating him like an underling? Well, if they were going by rank within the Organization, Zexion was technically higher. But that was before Axel had left. He wasn't the Schemer's personal gopher, after all. Before the Flame could voice--or physically mete out--his displeasure, the Dusk scurried away into a Corridor of Darkness. Typical.
Now that the punching bag had left, he was left to himself. Crazy lady was now attacking the other two guys, and from the looks of things, she was very intent on killing one or both of them. He heard her shout something about bathing in their blood being the key to him returning to play with her. Well. That was an interesting choice of words. He had things to do, so he probably should have used her distraction to finally get out of there, but he decided instead to make sure she saw him again. Maybe that would calm her down.
He summoned another Corridor of Darkness to hop quickly into her line of sight. From here, he turned to leave but not before calling out loud enough for her to hear. "I'm leaving now. Try not to hurt those guys too much."

Buttons wants in on the fun. --
" Yes, I do like fighting with these," she said conversationally even as she was chasing him down. " But I really prefer to use my hands." There was something vaguely sinister about her last statement. She preferred to use her hands because she liked being able to feel breaking bones and warm blood. She didn't know how to express this, however, so she left it at that. The whispers in her ear told her how and where to strike. More than likely the soul of some corrupted soldier taking his revenge by telling Loru how to kill this man. Suddenly though, she came to a grinding halt. Mid-strike, she dropped everything and started racing back towards the sound of Axel's voice. " N-no! You can't leave!" she wailed. An advantage Ain and Soren had over Loru in battle, even though she was strong and fast and had the souls of skilled and vengeful warriors telling her how to fight, was that she was very easily distracted. For the moment being, Axel was her existence and her fight against Ain and Soren was forgotten. " You can't leave!" she repeated. DoN't LeT hIm Go, Lulu. hE wiLL HeLp YoU kIll tHe aNgeL and hIs pArTneR, Lulu.In Loru's mind, Buttons was chasing after her as she raced towards Axel.

That fight lasted 10 seconds... Ain felt like the skills of Loru suddenly went up a notch as she lunged at him, what was crude moments before and easy to read seemed to be more refined. As the Tonfa nearly connected with his face, she turned and left towards Axel, realizing full well if she had not he would have been crushed by her overwhelming force. It was that sudden change, like a different mind entirely. He underestimated her a great deal, he would not do so again. His unchanging dull expression starred at the dangerous Loru, he would attack her back but that wasn't his style. Quickly he retracted his blade and slowly walked back to his boat. It wasn't worth it to fight, nothing to gain and everything to lose. Did he even get these peoples names, nevermind such stupid things as names. As he reached the docks he started untieing the Knot on his boat so he could leave, it was time to go to another world, it wasn't like he was running away however it's just he would only defend himself normally. "This was a bad place to stop surely, I guess Destiny Islands means that everyone living here is destined for trouble." he stated quietly to himself as the knot was undone, with one last look back he checked to see how the others were dealing with that crazy red head girl from all the way at the docks.

Just Don't Tackle Me Again
Axel was starting to imagine regret forming in his hollow chest cavity. He should have just left when he had the chance. Crazy lady was easily distracted, it seemed, for she had gone from wanting to kill those other two guys to pining after him. What was her deal, anyway? She didn't even know him. He had never been in a situation where someone was apparently obsessed with him and would not leave him alone. Wait. Scratch that. Being in the same room with Larxene in Castle Oblivion came close. But at least she hadn't tried to tackle him and smell his hair. The Flame grimaced a little. She probably would have if she didn't have to worry about Marluxia walking in on the awkward scene.
He took a few steps backward to keep at least some distance between him and the crazy lady. As long as she didn't put him on the ground again, he'd be okay. "I really do have somewhere to be, so I've gotta go." Where was this coming from, anyway? He should have just discouraged her from following him by doing what he did best: burning things. Was he going soft? She did sound a bit desperate for him to stay. For some reason. This was empathy, wasn't it? This is what I get for spending too much time around Sora. Inconvenient semi-feelings.

Buttons doesn't care about your appointments. -- Red was backing up, trying to escape from her. She continued to chase after him, the whispers in her ear urging her on. Axel, who Loru referred to as Red inside her mind considering she had no other name for him, was trying to tell her he had a place to be. Obviously, it had to be a trap or... hE iS bEiNg TrIckEd bY tHe BaD pEoPle, Lulu. YoU hAvE tO KilL tHeM tO sAvE ReD...Loru stopped and looked up. Soren was still in the air, Ain had retreated to his boat and Axel was still trying to escape. It was just too much. The young woman went rigid, threw her head back and screamed. It was a shrill scream and she managed to hold it for a long time before she stopped, went limp and panted. It was obvious what she had to do. Knock Red out to keep him safe. Kill The Angel. Kill his partner, too. That is what Bad People deserved after all. After Red was safe, she would take him back with her to... somewhere. She decided to start with Axel. He was closest and her first priority. Without warning, her hand snapped forward. Again, she was going for a strike to the head. Axel had a little height advantage over her, but her weapon made up for it.

Don't even know why I'm doing this... Soren was definitely questioning the wisdom of sticking around. The sailor guy had already gotten the hell out of Dodge, and he really should have done the same. It wouldn't be hard at all. But damn it, he couldn't just fly off and let the crazy chick capture the red-haired guy. She'd probably do horrible things to him that spat in the eyes of the gods, and he couldn't have that. He landed and picked up a good-sized rock. "Hey!" he yelled, and threw the rock at Loru's head. It collided nicely, making a loud clunk sound. "He's leaving and there's nothing you can do about it!" Okay, now he could leave, right? Like, the faster he disappeared into one of his portal-things, the sooner Soren could fly away.

Buttons haunts her dreams, too. --
Again, Loru was interrupted mid-strike. This time by a rock to the back of the head. " Owie..." was all she managed to squeak out before she went down, unconscious, at Axel's feet. Her tonfa went clattering to the ground. Maybe she was dead? No, the three men couldn't be so lucky. However, there was a reason why Loru hated to sleep. The nightmares... if this had been a normal sleep, she could have woken up whenever she wanted to escape them. But since she had been knocked unconscious, there was no escape. Soren couldn't have possible known about the torture he had forced her to endure by knocking her out, but at least they were safe. That is, if they could escape before she came to. If they didn't... God have mercy on their souls, because she was going to be pissed. This was their chance, while she was still out, dreaming of the real living nightmare she had endured back at the institution. They'd only been trying to help her, but you can only be restrained against your will so many times before you begin to distrust everyone....

Escape Never Looked So Good
The woman was trying to attack him again, but she was stopped suddenly by a rock to the head. Axel looked up in surprise to find that bird guy had been the one to throw the rock. If the Flame had a heart and was just a little more touchy-feely, he might have hugged that guy out of sheer relief. As things were, he simply waved an appreciative hand at him. "If I were you, I'd get out of here before she wakes up. I doubt she'll want to be your friend any time soon."
With that, he raised a hand and summoned a Corridor of Darkness. He still needed to locate Riku or at least some information concerning Riku's current whereabouts, and Destiny Islands was still the most logical place to do that. He would just have to make sure he avoided running into crazy woman again. Without a backwards glance, he stepped into the corridor and vanished.

Well, time to leave. "Yeah, good idea. See ya." Soren waved, but there wasn't any indication that the guy had heard him. Now would be a fantastic time to fly away, but his wings were a little tired and he could barely see. With his luck, he'd crash into a tree just in time for crazy girl, or land somewhere where she could get to him...hey, that sailor guy wouldn't mind giving him a ride, right? Suuure he wouldn't. Soren flew to the boat and landed comfortably on the deck. "Hey, I need a quick ride. Don't worry, I'll get off as soon as the sun comes up."

Hey, get the hell off my boat. Forget it...
Ain looked to winged person, for a second he stared without even a single word. He dusted himself off with his hands, his fingers running through the fabric of his loose jacket and pants. His expression still entirely unchanged, but his body language told another story, he was annoyed. Is this person coming with him, he didn't mind that much as long as the angel guy didn't touch is stuff. "This is the form my Gummi Ship takes in worlds with water, I'm leaving this world now." he stated dryly, as the boat started pulling out. "If you don't want to leave this world, get off now." The boat pulled from the docks and the sail was set moments after. It was a small boat to be sure but it was all he had. In moments it was already sailing away towards the horizon with no preset destination. Taking a seat he pretty much ignored Soren, in only a short while they would leave the world of Destiny Islands.
