That can be construed as a slight. Furiae's jaw clenched shut in anger. The other man had fought well enough for the black-cloaked one to join in and attack him. She wasn't good enough. Insignificant. Worthless. Her vanity took a good hit at the percieved slight, and struck out in wild anger.
Kill the Nobodies, kill the girl, then kill him. Kill the Nobodies, kill the girl, then kill him. The thought repeated over and over in her head like a mantra, driving her to a vicious, cold fury. "Kill you," she muttered under her breath. Her mind switched into a different mode, became absolutely focused. Three left. Had to kill them first. Get rid of the irritant factors. Then the girl. Fast, strong, but undisciplined. Childish. Could easily be provoked, make mistakes. Try taunting. Aggravate the sense of paranoia. She ran to one of the Snipers, relentless in her attack. It attempted to resist, but was soon ripped into pieces by the blade of her scythe. Filthy thing. She turned to another one, dodging its attacks quickly. Kill it. She did. Using the end of her scythe as a blunt weapon, she was able to knock it back and throw it off guard. Tearing through it after that was nothing. One left. Had to kill it. Then the girl.

"Helloooo Tahiti!" So this guy was responsible for bringing in the other Nobodies? Huh, why didn't he ask the guy? It would have made things a lot simpler than having whoever yell at him. Wait a moment, apparently he was the one yelling at Xigbar. Go figure. And apparently he was at least slightly impressed with Asa's strength, though it wasn't enough to get into whatever group the eye patch sporting Nobody belonged to. And that was fine by him.
Asa smiled when Xigbar called him flaily. He wasn't sure if it was referencing his weapon, or the way he moved (either one was applicable for Asa), but it didn't matter. Asa's response had nothing to do with either possibility.
"I don't know if that's supposed to be some sort of come on, but it isn't very good. That and you aren't my type." Asa smiled, eyes closed as he mocked his fellow Nobody.
"Then again, I don't really remember what my type is, but we'll just stop there to keep things from getting awkward." Asa said this, but it was already a bit too late for that. Oh well, his flail reappeared in his hand, and he shortened the chain so that the length of the flail was back to normal. He charged at Xigbar, spinning the shortened flail rapidly. He got within fifteen feet, and let the chain extend while he swung, and the metal top flew toward him. It wasn't like Asa to just attack outright usually, but it did fit within his plan to see what the guy was made of.

Buttons says to put your head in the sand. Literally. -- Every time Loru went in for an attack, Furiae beat her to it and almost knocked Loru out. So, the older woman just lost interest and began to wander off down the beach. The other two had the Snipers, and their handler, pretty much distracted. Perhaps the Nobodies would do her job for her and kill the other two. No? Oh well. There was still plenty of time. She could watch from afar until things died down and then she would go in for a sneak attack. " Need to hide, need to hide. Need to hide," she said in a sing song voice. She had made it pretty far down the beach, but the others were still in sight. She lay down, face first and belly down, in the sand and starting piling handfuls of the gritty stuff on top of her hair. The thought was she would bury herself for camouflage. The result was she nearly suffocated. She burst up out of the sand, flailing and coughing and spitting. After a moment, she regained composure and stared blankly at the sand, blinking out of her eyes. And then, it was like her brain restarted. " Need to hide," she repeated, assuming the stunt was worthy of another shot. She lay back down in the sand and started piling it on the back of her head once more.

Sorry, Smartass position has been filled. You can still apply for Tries To Be Funny And Fails Epically though. This new nobody was reminding Xigbar of Demyx too much, which he couldn’t decide if it was a good thing, or bad. Sure, the man could be fun to listen to, but he also had the ability to get on the others’ nerves, which was something that happened quite often. He mostly wondered about this after the man’s first response. “If that’s the best comeback he can think of, I can tell he’ll get burned within the day,” he thought to himself, seeing him rambling further on about his tastes for a bit, summoning his weapon only moments later. As expected, the man initiated an attack towards Xigbar, but he was seriously hoping for something better than a direct charge. Standing still as he watched the flail fly towards him, a grin covered The Freeshooter’s face as he allowed the flail to extend as far as it could, only for him to vanish and disappear from sight. With the clicking sound of his Arroguns at the ready, he reappeared behind the nobody, only a meter away, his right weapon aimed at the base of his neck, the tip of the gun only a centimeter away from it. “I said strength alone wasn’t gonna cut it, didn’t I? Keep charging towards an unknown enemy like a fool and ya’ll be lucky if ya are just reduced to a dusk,” he shook his head left and right, slightly disappointed, but still enjoying the possibility to mess like that to a likely new ally… or cannon fodder, depending on the situation. Regardless, the Snipers had been almost wiped out, and that meant that the two females would be likely to either return to their previous fight, or turn their fight against him. [Teleport used. Two posts before next use.]

"Where'd he go?" Xigbar had vanished before Asa even knew what was going on. The guy could teleport, an interesting and dangerous power to have, but then again...
Asa could do it now too. And he would let Xigbar know in just a second, but first things first.
"Don't shoot me! Oh who am I kidding, time to drop the ruse." He slowly turned around, and gave the Freeshooter a cold, emotionless look. He shrugged and spoke some more.
"It's not my style to charge in all the time, I just wanted to gauge your abilities some, that's all. And I gotta say, you're not half bad. But if that's the best you got..." He teleported, ending up fifteen feet behind Xigbar, with his weapon flying toward the Organization member once more.
"Then let's dance." His smile returned, and he slouched slighlty.
"Just don't hurt me, okay?" That was him reverting back to his "idiotic" persona, but what could he say, if he had a heart, he'd think it was fun.

Ya'd think a Blue Mage would need to come into contact with an ability to learn it... While Xigbar wasn’t about to shoot the guy from behind, as he either appeared to believe or was simply still following a goofy persona, he quite enjoyed the feeling. Of course, he had to get all ‘mightier than you” and say The Freeshooter himself was the one being tested. As if. Had he any idea of his previous experience he’d soil his pants for the rest of the week. Of course, the move Asa pulled did catch him by surprise for half a second. Instinct took over Xigbar, so the moment he saw the guy who had been acting so confident disappear just as he had done before, he ducked, feeling the breeze from his enemy’s flail flying over his head, missing by only a couple of inches. “Just not half bad is giving me too little credit kid,” he commented, still kneeling on the ground, his back facing him. He spun on his feet, now facing him, but still not quite standing up. “So ya can replicate someone else’s ability, huh… Boy, now I really need to bring you back to the castle. Vexen would have a field day studying you,” he chuckled, slowly standing up and playing with his rifles. He kept on knocking the one in his right hand against his right shoulder, almost as if it were a simple toy. He kept on looking at Asa from beneath his hood, finally slightly impressed at the skill he had shown. It did raise the concern that if exposed to too many Organization members, he could turn into a power horse that might try to stage a coup like the fruit basket before had done. But for now… “A’right, I’d say you pass. I’m still leaving it up to The Superior to pass on the final judgment though,” Xigbar shrugged, considering this as good a time as any to call his ‘ Look for moron who almost ripped off our uniform’ operation and bring back ‘ Idiot that is one zipper away from copyright infringement’.

I passed? Was it the stupid test? Asa gawked in surprise as Xigbar told him he passed. Passed what? The stupid test? The ACT? What did he pass? What was he thinking about again? Oh yeah, he passed a test. What test? The stupid test? Crud, he's repeating himself. He really needed to get some note cards or something to record all of this stuff down in. But it wasn't the test passing part that disturbed him, it was the Vexen having a field day studying him that did.
"Eye-patch guy say what?" He brought the flail back to him, returned the chain to normal length, and then put the chain over his shoulder. He shrugged and smiled.
"So uh, what exactly should we do about crazy and psychopath back there?" Asa motioned back toward the other two, and frowned.
"Can we just leave them be and call it a day?" He really didn't want to fight anymore. He disliked pain, and pain would definitely come out of a fight with them.

Someone else to help drive the scholar nuts. I like this. About. Freaking. Time. The man Xigbar had decided to test decided to stop with the charade of the fight, now he was pretty much asking to join. This pleased Xigbar slightly, since while he was going to make it back to headquarters with no new information, he was going to make up for it with a new recruit. Not that anyone was actually expecting information from him in the first place, but actually proving useful and competent was enough to get on the nerves of certain people. When asked what to do with the nutty pair at the beach, he wondered for a moment if he couldn’t take at least the most crazy and physically strong female back, maybe keep her as the Organization’s human pet. He shrugged that thought off, his shoulders falling slightly as his hands plummeted down. “If it were up to me, they’d be in. But we already got enough mentally unstable people back at the Castle,” he waved his hands, the pair of Arrowguns vanishing in a flash of light as he did so. He looked around the area one last time, hoping to see one of the people he had originally come all the way out there to stalk for information, but found nothing. Just this would do for now. “I’m already done here anyways,” he commented, raising his hand and summoning a Corridor of Darkness between him and the new recruit. “Move yer behind and go first. I’ll make sure no one follows,” he motioned with his head towards the corridor, his ponytail slipping out from within his hood for a second. With all said and done, he just noticed that at no point he had bothered to remove his hood and show his face properly. Well, no matter, the new kid would probably see enough of it in the future.

Huwha? Asa shook his head when Xigbar mentioned bringing them back to the castle.
"That's not what I meant, but whatever." He stepped toward Xigbar, then looked back at the other two still on the world.
"See ya Tahiti!" He said to the world as he ran into the portal. Where he was going to end up, only Xigbar knew. As far as Asa was concerned, he was running blind. Which was strangely how the whole evening started out.

You have failed Buttons. -- On down the beach, Loru sat up, shedding a layer of sand. Her legs were outstretched and her palms between her knees, a childish pose. " Aw man! Another one got away!" she whined, slamming her fists down. Again, the earth trembled although this time it was only a little. " Guess that means I just have to kill the Young One extra hard to make up for it." She hopped to her feet, shaking off the sand and wiping it from her eyes. She apparently had forgotten all about her sneak attack. Oh well, there were still dramatics to be had. She tilted her head and gave a girlish chuckle before raising her right fist high into the air, tonfa in hand. Surely Furiae was nearly done with the Snipers. This was perfect. Loru slammed her fist into the ground, setting a wave of sand on its course towards the young woman. It probably wasn't enough to hurt her seriously, but if you have ever been on the beach when it's windy you know that it stings. If nothing else, it would knock her off her feet.

Goodbye Tahi... You know what? Screw it, I'm not doing it. Watching Asa step into the Corridor, now Xigbar had nothing to do other than watch his surroundings for a brief moment, taking in the atmosphere… or more particularly, trying to memorize the face of the insane girl with such super human strength. He was truly disappointed that the rules of membership couldn’t be bended, for she would make not only a good asset for missions, but she would most certainly get on the nerves of the members he always picked on for kicks. She could make quakes with her bare fists for f*ck’s sake, surely enough Xemnas could try and look the other way once he explained it. Even so, he turned to the portal and walked towards it. Stepping into it, he saw the beach one last time before the Corridor closed, the darkness embracing him as it transported him back to the Castle. The day had been more productive than originally anticipated, since despite the lack of any information on the silver cloaked man, he found and recruited a nobody with an interesting ability, who could certainly turn into a valuable asset at some point. If he survived Vexen’s experiments, which were sure to come, if only so he could try and replicate his replication ability. “Ha. As if. Someone might need to put a leash on the opera singer just to keep him from vivisecting the new guy,” he chuckled as he set foot outside the Corridor of Darkness. He was back at the closest thing he could call home.

Guess I should salvage something out of this. Furiae bit her lip as the other two left. Well, that was an understatement- she lacerated her lip, drawing blood. Damn it all, how insulting. If she saw them again...
But now she had something else to focus on. The crazy girl. Furiae was determined to gain something out of this, if only some slight amusement at the crazy one's expense. Furiae had little experience with people, and those who she had known were always criminal lowlives. Due to the nature of the people she had known, she had been well-acquainted with the paranoid and the psychotic, well enough to know how easily their fears could be manipulated.
The woman knocked her back with a wave of sand, stinging her eyes and bringing her to the ground for a short second before she recovered.
"Ah, little girl. So strong and yet so weak. Even with your strength, you will never get rid of Them, don't you know? They'll always be following you. As they did me...until I joined Them. It's better to do so. The bad things leave, you know, when you surrender." Furiae felt a vague sensation of satisfaction, the closest she could come to having fun. She'd leave the girl (well, a woman physically, but a girl mentally) alive as long as possible. She took a defensive stance, prepared to shoot ice shards at the girl should she try anything.

Buttons wants to...save you? --
Surrender. What a tempting offer. All the bad things would go away, said the Young One. " I'll never be able to get rid of them," echoed Loru. More out of habit than anything else. And then, she sighed, putting one hand on her hip. " There, you admitted it. You are with them. So why should I trust you!? I shouldn't trust you, you know, because you're you and you're with them and I'm not and I don't want to be because I am Lulu." Loru outstretched her hand, weapon clenched in her fist. " You're as good as dead now. Admitting that was suicide. Even if I don't get you, They will. Because They won't like that you told me. So lay down your weapon and let me do this quickly. I'll be much kinder than They will, They'll torture you just like They tortured me... before I escaped." Jagged-edged memories flashed across her shattered mind. " It won't take long. And it will only hurt for a second. After that, you'll be free."

Time for a big fi- oh. Ah. She was capable of some sort of competence. Still paranoid as hell, but that last speech was surprisingly comprehensible. Well, looked like it was time for a fight. Furiae decided not to go charging in, at least not without distracting her.
"Well," she said, slowly moving to the left, "when you put it that way I guess it seems-" She abruptly stopped, picked up a good-sized rock near her foot, and threw it, hitting Loru's head. Now, while the girl was distracted, she would run in and-
The girl fell face-first in the sand. Um.
"Hello?" No answer. The girl was stone-cold unconscious. Well.
Time to leave, then. Furiae looked awkwardly around, sighed, and walked away.
It was about time to get off this stupid world.
