A Mouse's Work is Never Done
While Mickey spoke about the events surrounding Xemnas and Kingdom Hearts, he noticed little in the expression of Zexion. Of course, that was to be expected due to his status as a Nobody, but this particular Organization member was harder to read than some of the others, even if they only pretended true emotion. Then again, perhaps false displays of emotion were capable of concealing very dangerous intentions. The only visible response Zexion showed to Mickey's words was a slight widening of the eyes. Was that...an attempt at surprise? Shock?
Zexion then proceeded to inform him that there were known to be eight members of the Organization that had returned from death, including Xemnas. Mickey couldn't help but bristle a little at that information. The rest of the Organization was dangerous, yes, but Xemnas was the biggest threat of them all. Many of the cloak wearers might actually believe in their personal goal of getting their hearts back, but Xemnas only used such an excuse to veil his true desire for Kingdom Hearts and its power.
If there were eight known members returned, six were questionable. Zexion was obviously here, and he had specifically mentioned Xemnas. But the other six were left up in the air, still unknown to the king. He could probably rule out Marluxia and Larxene. From what he had pieced together of the events in Castle Oblivion using both the accounts of Sora and Riku, those two would probably fall under the category of "traitor" to the Organization. And he could definitely rule out Roxas. He had just seen Sora a short while ago. Unless something had occurred of which he wasn't aware, Number XIII was not with the Organization. That left eight other members who could be the resurrected six he was missing. It wasn't concrete enough for his tastes, but it would have to do.
After thanking him, Zexion vanished in a Corridor of Darkness. Finally, it was time for that bath he had been wanting. Then, he could rub noses with his wife and get some much-needed sleep. He could possibly linger here for a day or two before heading out into the worlds again. He only hoped Minnie would understand. Making his way back to the throne room entrance, he retrieved his cloak from the floor and left the chamber.
