To Castle Oblivion!
Axel breathed a sigh of relief. The pirate guy confirmed that crazy lady wasn't here. With any luck, she would never get off Destiny Islands, and he could simply avoid that world if at all possible. A question was asked, this one about Keyblade masters and King Mickey. Was this guy pals with the mouse king? Axel didn't think the pirate looked capable of being pals with anyone, but maybe Mickey had worked some of that friendship magic on him. Meanwhile, armored guy wasn't doing much of anything, which meant Axel would continue to ignore him
Before the Flame could answer the pirate, Zexion stepped in and did so, which was fine. But the more interesting piece of conversation was the news of where Zexion wanted to stage this little side-mission of theirs. Arching an eyebrow for a moment, Axel couldn't help but smirk at Zexion's choice of words. "Oh, yeah. That place. Interesting. I didn't think you were the morbid type. Are you excited at the idea of visiting a previous grave of yours?" His own choice of wording was, of course, ridiculous. Zexion could not feel excitement, and even if he wasn't a Nobody, Axel doubted his Other would have shown much emotion, anyway. He rested an elbow on the arm still crossed over his chest, pointed his index finger at the sky, and lazily traced small circles in the air. "If you're so overworked and stressed, I can always put you out of your misery again. This time, I'll even do it myself just because I care so much."
After a short-lived chuckle, he regained his serious expression once more and gave some thought to the Schemer's question. It would probably be best if Zexion was not the first to speak to Sora. Axel had the Keyblade master's trust, after all. Why not use it? "I'll talk to him first. Wouldn't want him to take your head off before we even got started, now would we?" He took a few steps away and summoned up a Corridor of Darkness. "Tomorrow, then. It's a date, dear Schemer. I'll be waiting." He waved half-mockingly at Zexion before disappearing from the Third District.

The mist of uncertainty slowly clears... With all things considered, knowledge of the keyblade masters was probably the most important thing he could have learned at this juncture in time. Sora, Riku and King Mickey were all keyblade masters, and from what he could tell they must have been powerful. It was vital information, and combined with what he learned from King Mickey he had drawn a picture in his mind about the complex worlds and the balance of light and dark that surrounds them. It was funny that only after talking to King Mickey and listening to the cloaked men did he start to understand. Ain looked on as Axel had disappeared into the darkness, his eyes trained on the black mist it eluded. What was such a darkness even made of, and in the same way what was light made of. In a sense he had already thought of it logically. Darkness was merely a shadow that is only viewable when compared to light and it made things hard to see. Light was the bright warmth of the sun and allowed as to see more clearly if not see at all. Turning to Zexion, he gave a nod and started walking off. "What is the balance of Light and Dark to you?" he stated while not looking in Zexion's direction. "Never-mind." It took a lot out of him, it was the truth to say that he had no fight in him. If he did not rest he would be defeated by even a mere heartless, which way was the hotel? Oh, and why has Soren said anything? Realizing he left him he gave a small sigh.

The Schemer Slips Away The only thing that Zexion could do was give Axel a serious face in response to his comments. The Nobody was of course being sarcastic in his choice of words, knowing that he could not feel excitement. In fact, he would not have enjoyed visiting Castle Oblivion again because of his prior connections to it. Axel's next words were his exact reasons for not having those warm feelings toward the castle; one did not usually gather warm feelings from the place they were murdered at, or any feelings at all since he could not feel.
He had the perfect sarcastic remarks prepared for Axel, but alas the Flame left quickly through a Corridor of Darkness. It was shortly after he left that the pirate said something to him as he walked off; something about the balance of light and dark. Zexion would have answered, but the pirate did not seem interested and walked away. The Schemer watched him leave out of the corner of his eye, then turned his glance toward the man clad in armor. That stench of darkness was not quite as powerful as the one he was chasing. Though, he would record this meeting for further use in case he crossed paths with the man again.
"Then I shall go as well and prepare," he mused aloud to himself, creating a Corridor of Darkness and sinking into it. He would make sure to be at Castle Oblivion tomorrow as promptly as possible. Axel was going to speak with Sora first, which made perfect sense. However, it did not give the Schemer much to do other than to watch; it was a win-win situation for him. He did not have to do much work to get what he wanted. It wouldn't always be like this of course, but it was nice for a change.
