The castle seemed sort of quiet right now. Kadaj's brothers were out in town somewhere while he just stayed here for the moment. Maleficent was somewhere in the castle and whoever knows where Ava was, leaving the remaining silver-haired remnant bored. Well, staying in this castle sure wasn't going to help that; he didn't feel like talking with the sorceress and now he had no one to spar with. Maybe there was someone out in town that he could spar with, maybe inflict heavy amounts of damage upon. Yes, he liked the sound of that. That's probably what Yazoo and Loz were doing right now anyway; he'd love to join them.

Kadaj left the castle quickly after this thought and started making his way toward town. Though, he stopped right before he reached Bailey, grinning. He heard the sounds of gunshots and Loz's voice mixed in with other fighting sounds. Goody, they found a fight already. He didn't care who they were fighting at this point, but he was more than happy to be able to join. He ran quickly into the fight, producing his Souba and jumping straight into the midst. There were two guys in black cloaks, one of them standing in a defensive position while the other was trying to stay out of it. Maleficent mentioned these guys before: these were Organization members. That meant he could kill them.

"Well hello brothers," he said maliciously, glancing back and forth between the one with the shield and the one trying to back out of the fight. His brothers seemed to be preoccupied with the one that had the shield, which meant he could just try and take out the other one. "Oh don't run away now. Join us!" His tone was cheerful as he said this, jumping at the other Organization member with the Souba and ready to hit him from at least three different angles.

The Complete Set

Before either of the silver-haired men Vexen faced had a chance to say anything, a voice came from the castle's nearby entrance. A smile spread across the scientist's face. He didn't turn and look to know who it was; even if the voice wasn't a familiar one, deductive reasoning would be enough to tell him the identity of the speaker. "Kadaj." Well, it was just his lucky day wasn't it? One by one, all three of targets he was looking had been found with little trouble and incredible time. At this rate, the mission would be completed much earlier than he had expected. That would leave him with even more time to analyze everything that he collected.

The latest guest, evidently deciding that his brothers were doing just fine job dealing with the other Nobody, began to attack Demyx. Although Vexen didn't particularly care what happened do his parter (things would likely run much smoother without him), it would be quite a nuisance to have to fill out a report over the whole ordeal if he were to be eliminated. Besides, he couldn't have have Demyx stealing away part of his experiment. Observing all three of the pawns was necessary, regardless of the fact that he had already seen Kadaj's fighting abilities in the past. "So," he began. "now that all three of you have finally arrived: I suppose it's time for the real fun to begin."

His shield still held in his left, Vexen raised his right hand above his head. All throughout the Postern a strong wind began to blow, quickly growing more and more powerful. Soon it had transformed into a complete blizzard, snow and small chunks of ice moving wildly throughout it. Slowly, a layer of thick, slippery ice appeared across the ground, creating quite a hazard in and of itself. In the middle of this, the Chilly Academic stood perfectly normal-- not even flinching-- as if nothing at all were happening. The same could not be said for all the unfortunate other four outside the Castle.

Lo and Behold, more ice. This bastard had no other tricks up his sleeves? How boring. If he could only manipulate the ice then this was going to be a pretty simple fight. Sure he could manipulate the ice in more ways than Yazoo had seen, but even so, there was only so many ways one could do such a thing. At least with various abilities and powers he could change things up every so often.

"Too dull."[/color] Yazoo said just before he became engulfed by the winds and the blowing snow. It became hard for the shooter to see, so he tried to take a few steps back, to see if he would be able to navigate the area at all. His feet slid, and he nearly fell. Luckily he had inherited the grace his would-be father had, so it wasn't so simple. The winds however made things more difficult. With the icy floor Yazoo was constantly being pushed back, and it took most of his strength to keep roughly in the same area. He pointed his gun toward Vexen once more, and fired off three shots.

It was just too bad those shots wouldn't make it to their target. The winds blew them back toward Yazoo, and with a quick duck, he avoided being hit by his own attack. Standing back up a slight smirk appeared on his face. Maybe he'd underestimated his opponent. If Yazoo was unable to hit his opponent from a distance then he'd have to get up close and personal. This wasn't a tactic he was even the slightest bit comfortable with, after all, his brothers were the ones who were made for that, but it did pique his interest. It meant that effort would be required of him this time around. And that was something Yazoo valued more than the kill itself.[/size]

Demyx thought he was lucky and was going to be able to avoid any fighting. However, it was obvious he wasn't that lucky since the last of the three silver haired guys had appeared. Of course, this one also happened to take note of him and was headed towards him. This one had jumped toward him and was getting closer and closer. The urge to run away was getting stronger.

However, he didn't think he had enough time to make a corridor and get away. Plus he'd probably get stuck with a worse mission if he abandoned a mission with Vexen. So his sitar soon appeared in his hands and he started strumming, jumping back as a circle of water appeared were he was just standing. A little bit after that a huge stream of water was now headed toward the silver haired guy. "Hey, can we like....not resort to violence?" he asked as he got ready for a response that was most likely going to be no. "I mean like....can we just all get along?"

Disinterested

The Organization member he had chosen to fight with seemed to be able to shoot water out of his weapon thing, which did not look like a normal weapon. In fact, neither of the members had normal looking weapons, one with a shield and one with a guitar-like thing. The one with a guitar shot water straight at him while the other made a blizzard form in their little fighting area. Yazoo was shot out of it because of the wind and was choosing to stay out of it, a smart choice. Kadaj, unfortunately, didn't get that option. The jet of water hit him full force and, accompanied by the wind of the blizzard, sent him flying. He landed on his feet, but the ice he landed on caused him to slip. He managed to just barely keep his balance and get himself off of the ice.

Oh, Organization member didn't like fighting and just wanted to be friends? Didn't want to resort to violence? That was just not something Kadaj could do. Maleficent didn't mention anything about making friends with the Organization members; only just killing them on sight. "I don't think so," he replied to the guitar-wielding one, though he didn't dare go back into the fray at the moment. The blizzard would knock him around too much to let him get in there to get a few hits on either member. He could wait until the blizzard was gone, but he just didn't have that sort of patience at the moment. These members would be back anyway and he could kill them some other time.

"I think this is a waste of time," Kadaj said to both Loz and Yazoo, his interest now completely lost. It was no fun when the other fighters wouldn't even let him near them and just made a big blizzard thing. He turned heel and started walking away. Now he wondered why he bothered coming to the fight at all.
