What is your problem, sir? Shardd gave the guy behind them a weird look. I wonder what his problem is, he thought. Origas chimed in his opinion, as per always. I think maybe he might have been stuck in his head with someone like you. It's enough to make the most sane go a bit loopy. It went on like that for a while, but the boy had tuned him out. "And here I thought people liked being healed," Shardd muttered to himself, more than a little confused.
Looking at the one he had successfully grabbed, the boy said, "Hi, John! I just was looking around; it's been awhile since I was in Radiant Garden." His voice almost caught, and there was a slight misting of the eyes, but none but he who had mastered reading facial expressions would be able to tell. "I stumbled on you guys on accident."
Craning his head behind him, Shardd saw the attack coming and was thus able to position he sword to block the blow. "Hey, you! Why are you trying to kill us? What did we ever do to you to deserve it?" Can you seriously not tell he's filled with more darkness than even I am? Origas asked incredulously from his vantage point in the boy's mind. Their shared mind, that is to say. Shardd didn't respond, though whether that was because he actually hadn't noticed or just didn't want to respond was up for question. He just hoped the chasing man would get a grip soon.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Shardd. It would be nicer if the circumstances were better, but they aren't. The way he's acting has to be because of that guy who appeared, Alan... Jericho, I believe. He just showed up and began to make us fight each other." John looked back at Adien and became sad. "I think we should get out of here as soon as possible. I don't think we'll be able to help him, and it might only be a temporary effect." Deep in his heart, though, he didn't believe that to be the case.

Adien could indeed feel the darkness inside him, it felt like an intruder but, he liked it. What was happening was more than that. He gave a grimace as Shardd blocked his blow, he could hardly hear his words, all sound muffled by the own screams in his head.
As his blow made contact with Shardd's sword he pushed forward releasing the spear. "Duplicate" Four spears seem to flash into existence around the original, creating a diamond, each spear located roughly 2 foot apart from the next. Each flies forward with the force he ahd placed behind it with the push.
Adien seems to drop back slowly trembling and looking down at his own hands, falling to the floor.

Death comes swiftly to fools and madmen. Alan Jericho? Shardd didn't recognize the name, and Origas was clueless as to it as well. Probably some new Maleficent or something like that. Maybe worse. Shardd shuddered slightly. He didn't want to think there was someone worse than her. She was bad enough as was. Origas decided there and then NOT to let him know anything about what happened with Larxene. Those events might traumatize him. Especially some of the specifics.
Origas noticed the spearpoints coming at them, though Shardd was slightly distracted. Taking temporary control, he forced their body down, and Shardd, realizing his mistake. grabbed ahold of both control and John, pulling him to the ground with the other two. One--there was only one body. Sometimes, it was easy to forget Origas existed within him; it was so easy to think he existed outside of his body, so much was he independent and very much his own person.
For a moment, the pain didn't register. However, it struck him all at once. A spear was sticking out of his lower back. "That was...painful," the boy said, swallowing slightly. We've dealt with worse, remember, kid? Shardd almost swallowed again. Origas never called him kid before, and not fondly, either. Are we going to die? Shardd asked him. Origas seemed to shift, but only for a moment, before he replied.
Of course not. You and I will both make it through this. It was the closest to friendly that Origas had ever been to him. Shardd was not excited about that. Pulling out the spear by its tip, he used one of his select few spells. "Cure," he murmured, healing the wound closed and ensuring that he wouldn't die this day. He was still gravely hurt, but he wouldn't die, at least.
Turning to face the man who had flung the spears, Shardd got angry. It didn't happen as often as it used to, but he still did, at times. And this was one of them. Fists clenching, the boy stood up. "Did you think to kill me? And this man here, who says you were infused with darkness, or so I assume," his speech was becoming dangerously like Origas'--a bad sign. "Then I will show you the light. I will make you see yourself as you are, not as the darkness makes you."
His index and middle finger had become upraised at this time, and they rose to the sky. Pointing them at the man opposite him, he said, with a voice that would shatter fire and make stones weep, "The flames of salvation be upon you. Holy." Motes of light floated down from above the man. Suddenly, the motes gave way to harsh, searing rays of burning light, that would cleanse at least a small part of the darkness from his soul. If not, there were other methods.
The last though that Origas had before he retreated into the depths of Shardd's mind was this: Shit.

John went down as soon as Shardd grabbed him. He was just narrowly hit by one of the spears, it wasn't bad like Shardd's. John then stood up. As Shardd said the words and cast his spell, John stepped backwards a few steps. "How is this going to work, Shardd? How can we make sure this darkness that Jericho planted is cleansed from within him?"
