Jericho considered his question. He couldn't exactly teach it all in the few days it would take Nadia to recover- in fact, he could barely teach anything in that time. He wasn't going to force himself to stay on this world, though. He needed to travel and Nadia needed some more practice.

Suddenly, he had an idea. This guy wasn't exactly tied down to this world. It was very possible that he could come along with him and Nadia. He could teach them both at the same time, and having another fighter in a band of drifting murderers was always a good thing provided they weren't a traitor- Jericho knew that one from experience.

Besides, it was quite vain of him, but he wanted to show off Nadia. He had worked quite hard on her.

"It will take months at the least. I'm traveling around with Nadia, finishing up the changes to her psyche. You're welcome to come along. That way I can teach you both- and believe me when I say watching her take the final step into becoming like us will be quite enjoyable."

[Aerith]

There is but one work in the crazy woman.

Ah, company. It had been some time since he had truly had travel companions. Lulu did not count. Hm. Now that he thought about it, he should probably mention her to Jericho.

"I would love to accompany you and Nadia. The idea of watching such an intricate corruption come to its full fruition is quite intriguing. However..."

He paused, contemplating his words for a moment. "I recently acquired some extra luggage during a visit to Destiny Islands. A woman, to be precise. A rather insane woman, utterly hopeless as a conversation partner, but she has the ability to speak with the dead."

Choosing not to go into details, he left it at that. It was not important for anyone else to know about his past or his reasons for doing what he did. And since he and Jericho carried similar thoughts about humanity, Ethan doubted Jericho would pry. For now, at least.

"I have not yet decided if I will keep her."

"Speak to the dead? How interesting." He considered that. Who would be floating around him, he wondered? There must be plenty.

Apparently, she was incredibly insane, though. That wasn't too great. He didn't mind insanity on its own, but some people just took it too far what with the rambling and the raving. It was very tiresome.

"Maybe I should meet her? If nothing else, she'd be fun to mess with for a little while."

[Aerith]

Wait until you meet her.

Jericho meet Lulu? There were few cons that he could see in that situation. Although, the ones that stuck out were glaring ones. She would in all likelihood let something slip that Ethan would be forced to explain. Then again, if she met Jericho, maybe he would drive her away. Ethan had gotten her off Destiny Islands.

He had a suspicion that she would be clinging to him for a while unless he did something drastic.

"Perhaps you should meet her. I turned her loose on this town. Who knows what she might be getting up to?"

That meeting could come later. He would need to locate her first. "How long do you expect your stay here to last?"

Well, Nadia's not going to be healed anytime soon...

Jericho shrugged. "Probably a week or two, but maybe sooner. I'll alert you if it is sooner. Do what you want with the girl- keep her or dump her, it matters little."

Although it would be interesting to see the girl, it would not be necessary.

"Where will I be able to contact you?"

I do not expect to remain quiet if that is how long I must linger here.

Lulu didn't strike Ethan as the type to let go so easily, so any attempts to rid himself of her would in all likelihood prove difficult. She had not to this point given him any trouble, mostly confining herself to "her" corner of his Gummi Ship. Unpredictable she might be, but unpredictability could always be useful in the right moment. Unless she began to directly hinder him, she could continue traveling with him.

"I won't make myself hard to find. A week or two is a long time to wait in idleness." It was certainly too long to wait without killing anyone.
