Loose Ends [Nadia, Ethan]

Oh, right. Hi, Predis.

Nadia had yet to see Predis grow this large, and she had almost forgotten he was with Jericho.

"In you? Well... you have very strong ties to Jericho, but I don't think I need to read you to figure that out."

If Ethan had been startled by the sudden voice inside his head, he didn't show it. Apparently, he had been more right in his observation of Jericho than he had thought.

"And flies. This one likes flies, too."

We should go meet up with Aerith.

Predis emerged, speaking to the others. Jericho smiled at Ethan's comment, then addressed Predis.

Many Heartless were made from the people of another planet. They make for good trackers, although I haven't tested their skills as fighters.

Oh, that reminded him. He had to go get Aerith. Jericho opened a Corridor.

"I have to get Aerith. Come with me if you want."

The Corridor opened up on the edge of a beautiful flower garden. Jericho walked up to the door.

"Aerith?"

Four's a crowd?

Nadia didn't hesitate in following Jericho through the Corridor, and Ethan was not far behind, either.

Ah. I see now. This is how he left this world so stealthily. How interesting. I wonder if I could learn how to use these, as well.

Jericho was here. She saw him through her open door, which meant it wasn't that alarm speaking to her again. Luckily, Cinderella was upstairs, and Clive was off on the other side of town doing some construction job.

That meant it was time to go again.

"Yes, I'm here. Oh." Nadia was with him, of course, but there was someone else, too. He was completely unfamiliar to her. Dispelling the gloom that had been hovering close to her for the past day or so, she made her best effort to smile. "Hello. I don't believe we've met. I'm Aerith."

Ethan returned the smile and tipped his hat to her. "My name is Ethan. It is a pleasure to meet you, Aerith."

My, but Jericho certainly knows the most magnificent women. Neither of them matched Sophia in his mind, but Ethan could recognize exquisite beauty when he saw it.

Aerith felt oddly relaxed around Ethan, but she made no mention of it. Her eyes went to Nadia for a moment. "Hello again, Nadia." Something was different about her. Something that made Aerith's heart sink a little more.

"Hello, Aerith." She tried not to sound as wary as she suddenly felt. Would Aerith try to do what Clive had tried to do?

However, Aerith didn't say anything else to Nadia and instead looked back at Jericho. "I'm ready whenever you are."

He opened a Corridor. Couldn't waste a second, not with so many important things to do. Finding Princesses, building armies, etc., etc.

Of course, he always would find room to have a nice conversation or two. Nadia had understated his love of talking.
