The Artist's Touch [Jericho]

This was one power Jericho had, one that Nadia could not overcome. He was in possession of her heart, now and forever. It was clouded in his darkness and twisted by his hand, and it would never leave him. If he let it go, it would wither and die.

The control that gave him was quite an intoxicating power.

"Let us rip apart the worlds one by one." He ran a hand softly through her hair, tucking it behind her ear.

"There are so many ideas to explore. What will you do, Nadia?"

[Aerith]

I don't want to wait.

"What will you do, Nadia?"

That was perhaps her favorite question now. Jericho had asked it of her several times, always phrased like that, and each time made her a little more aware of how much power she had in her choices.

What would she do? She rested her cheek against his and said into his ear, "Well... we're already here. Why not start with this world?"

Wait. Aerith was here, too. Nadia didn't want her involved in the chaos she and Jericho could start. She was far too grateful to Aerith to do that to her.

"Oh. Aerith. I forgot..."

The disappointment was evident in her voice. She had so been looking forward to trying out her new ability on the vermin. It would have to wait, it seemed.

Somewhere else.

That would be absolutely no problem. They could go anywhere they wanted, at any time. A Corridor opened. "There are other places. We will not be gone long."

He had an idea, and walked through the Corridor. Nadia needed much practice, after all.

[Aerith]

An alternate plan? I can't wait.

Nadia watched Jericho summon a Corridor and walk through it. For a brief moment, Aerith wandered across Nadia's thoughts. She would be fine. Jericho would know if she was danger.

Wherever they were going, she knew there would be people there to use for practice. A mix of anticipation and euphoria filled her as she followed Jericho.
