Well, that was easy. And now I'm done. --
Zexion shook his head. "No. What happens next all depends on what you choose to do with the darkness. You've seen what it can do for you. Learn to control it and master it." The Nobody wasn't here to point him in any certain direction-- never did that in the first place. He wasn't going to go around recruiting people for Jericho's cause, though he would tell others that what he was doing was necessary for balance. All Zexion really wanted to do was to have others realize their potential with darkness and make them harness it instead of reject it. The more they rejected it, the more problems would arise.
His business was done here for the most part then. Did he have anything to add? He supposed. He turned away from Castle, creating a Corridor of Darkness in front of him but not traveling through it yet. "I believe my business is complete here. Is there any message you wish for me to pass on to Emiline? I wonder, does she even remember you anymore?" He went into his thinking position again as he asked this. It was a legitimate question. He hadn't met Emi again to know at this point. Though, either way, he could perhaps toy with it...

Castle was sort of surprised that Zexion was just going to leave him to his own devices. Part of him was suspicious; was it really this easy? Then again, just because Zexion said he shared a similar goal with Jericho didn't necessarily mean he worked with him...
Wait, what did he just say?
"You know where Emi is?!" he blurted, taking a hasty step forward before he stopped himself, "Where is she? Is she okay?"
Come to think of it, something Zexion said earlier could have implied that he knew where she was, but if that was the case, Castle hadn't picked up on it. It didn't really matter anymore, anyway, and he was already focused on Zexion's reply.

Don't tempt me. --
Bait taken. "Why yes, I do," he answered, turning back to Castle, "She is traveling with Jericho and the others; I believe they'll be meeting in Notre Dame soon. Though, I would not even bother if I were you." He paused for a second, then shook his head. "Yes, it would be futile to try and find her. Her memories have likely already been tampered with already. Her memories of you could be fading as we speak." That probably wasn't true, but paranoia was interesting to instill in others.
"And even if not, you will not get her back. For if she does get out of control, I'll do exactly as I did before and twist her reality." He took a step closer to Castle. "And if you try to interfere, I will do the same to you as well." All of this was said in a matter-of-fact tone, making it clear to Castle that he would carry through with this if necessary. He had done it to Riku when he was in the way of his plans. He had done it to Emi when she followed him into the World That Never Was. And, he had done it to Sora to further his and Axel's scheme. He wasn't about to hesitate doing it again if he needed to.
He had nothing else to say either. He walked away from Castle, letting the Corridor of Darkness take him away.

"Wait a second!" Castle yelled after him, but he was already gone.
He almost wished for more Heartless to show up just so he could kill something. However, rather than feel enraged, as he expected to feel, his limbs sort of lost their energy, and he found himself stumbling over to lean with both hands on the wooden fence. He laughed suddenly, but weakly.
"I'm stuck, aren't I?" he mumbled, "What am I supposed to do? If I try to find her, I'm outnumbered, and... outmatched."
Even Zexion was threatening him now. Castle gripped the beam until his fingers hurt. As he did, he became aware of the darkness once more. It was still there, of course, and it probably wasn't going to leave any time soon. One hand strayed to his chest again.
Can I really do that? Can I really accept the darkness? he wondered, Then again, isn't that what I've been doing this whole time, anyway?
He let go of the fence and straightened up, looking at the perpetual sunset. His lips curved in a halfhearted smirk.
"I guess there's no other route for me to take," he said to no one in particular, "But, I'm not going to end up like them. I'm doing this my own way."
He turned around and left the hilltop. He would make himself stronger. He would do it for her.
