Left with nothing to do... again. [August 9, 2010] --
Notre Dame. Jericho said that the entire group would meet in this world soon. Zexion came upon it through Corridor, hiding in an alley while he looked things over and waited. The world revolved around the large cathedral-- that was about all he could say. How long would it be until the rest of the group met up?
Not at all most likely. He tried sensing Jericho, but nothing came up. His scent was too powerful to be hidden, so he wasn't here. Perhaps late? Perhaps looking at another world with one of the others? He closed his eyes, expanding his senses beyond this world for as briefly as possible. He did this for about thirty seconds before he opened his eyes and stopped. No Jericho anywhere; he couldn't be sensed.
Zexion leaned against the wall, his head now throbbing with a good headache forming. Jericho must have disappeared, going somewhere where he couldn't be sensed. Naturally, as soon as the Schemer had found something to do. Now what? He sighed. He might as well meet the other members of this little group, if they hadn't disappeared either. He shed his coat-- just because he was a Nobody didn't mean he didn't feel heat-- and put it away.

For an empty creature, he sure does seem full of himself. This world again. Why did Animositas even bothered to go back to this world? Was something drawing it there? No, that was impossible. Having parted ways with Ethan must have forced it into retracing its steps to a certain degree, moving back to a world it was already familiar with to continue exploring and learning how to blend. Not that the image of Kairi was one easy to blend, but it was one that people in this particular place wouldn’t be inclined to approach. Indeed, just like before, the inhabitants of this pitiful place remained at a safe distance from the Sentiment. Which did more good for them than they would ever be aware of. Animositas was not in a particularly good mood. It wasn’t that the lack of its partner had made it angry, depressed, or inflicted any pathetic human emotion on it like that. No. The lack of its partner seemed to have made its contempt for the humans around it reach the surface. Any thought that traveled through its mind was dissipated, however, the moment the armor caught a glimpse of a familiar face in an alley. It was the same empty creature that had come close to it back at the Graveyard, only minutes after the Princess of Heart had been dealt with. Intrigued by the sight, Animositas approached him, the mirage walking casually towards him, hands together behind her back. “Well well, ain’t this a surprise? I don’t think I’ve seen you since I removed this girl from the worlds,” Kairi’s voice echoed in a cheerful tone, standing a couple of meters away from the Nobody, her body balancing itself back and forth, almost playfully. Something feels different yet exactly the same. -- Emi had never felt so alone in her life. Well, actually, she had felt that alone before but she hadn't ever wanted to go back to it. Surrounded by people she hated and vice versa, scared for her life and sanity, and without even one friend to hang on to... she was miserable, but kept putting one foot in front of the other. The only way she was able to do that was by remembering why she had done it all the times before... for Castle. It kind of felt like she was anchored to Notre Dame now, trapped while the others did their coming and going. She waited for the work to begins, for SOMETHING to happen... and nothing ever did. In fact, this morning she woke up and lifted her head off the dirt she was sleeping in only to find that... she really was alone. She got up, dusted herself off and started walking. Jericho was gone. Nadia was gone. The spider was gone. Even Ethan and the armor thing were gone... she figured, though, that they would be returning soon and her heart sunk. Wishful thinking. With her hands shoved down into her pockets, and Zexion's cloak draped over her arms, she wandered the streets looking for something to eat... a very familiar situation that she wanted out of now.

Well, hi. --
And just like that, someone found him. Or something-- Zexion wasn't quite sure what he wanted to classify the figure standing near him as Kairi as. It had no scent, still, but it was obviously not a Princess of Heart. This was who Jericho was talking about though, the one that could take on other appearances. Ironic that he had met with it before at the Keyblade Graveyard. It remembered this too, acting very cheerful about it.
"Yes, it is. I honestly can't say I expected to see you here," he replied nonchalantly. "Has Jericho had you killing more perhaps? Certainly not any other Princesses of Heart." No, probably not. Jericho had needed those to get at the Door to Darkness. But, since he completely vanished, the Princesses were likely safe now. "He told me a bit about you when I joined, though he seems to have disappeared... What are you exactly?"
That was he most curious about, and just maybe he'd get the answer he wanted. Then the rest of Jericho's group could perhaps be located. Emiline seemed to be here, though no other scents that he recognized. Seeing her would prove to be... interesting, especially with his previous meeting with Castle. Wonder if he would get punched in the face again.

Last time someone asked this many questions he almost ended up severed in two. The mirage of Kairi chuckled at the mention of Jericho ordering the Sentiment around. How mistaken this little Nobody was. Of course, it appeared he was this wrong due to Jericho himself giving him wrong information. Why was that not surprising? “As if Jericho had the power to order me around,” it shrugged, taking a step back. “Maybe I should have killed him when I had the chance. It seemed so pointless back then, but now I almost wish I had just severed his head from his body. Pity.”
The Sentiment had grown distracted from the conversation, the thought of annihilating that creature and stealing his memories had taken a front row seat in its mind. Certainly, with him gone, that opportunity had disappeared as well. Trying to focus back to the short Nobody, it looked straight at him, the girl’s eyes staring at him almost as if they were dead now. The mirage flickered, revealing the armor beneath the illusion for the fraction of a second. “Does that answer your question?”Taking long steps towards the Nobody, the Sentiment stood right in front of him, less than half a meter away, Kairi's face distorting itself into a menacing grin as the mirage faded in and out of existence. "Now, and this is just a warning..." in a quick motion the armor grabbed Zexion by the neck and lifted him into the air, still grinning at him. "Watch how you ask things in the future. Four eyes almost died from not watching his mouth," and with that, the sentient armor flung the small nobody out of the alley and into the street, walking slowly after him.

dfkgjdfkgjldkfjkWHATTHE-- -- Emi had just about given up on finding breakfast. She was muttering to herself, with her hand shoved down into her pockets, and kicking a small pebble like it had just insulted her mother. It just so happened that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. That happened to her a lot. One minute, she was muttering and kicking a rock and the next she was face down in the dirt with a considerable weight on her back. After some kicking, screaming and flailing she manged to get out from under the weight, whatever it was. She flipped over on to her back and pushed the hair out of her face. " What the hell was that!?" she screamed, and then saw what had hit her. " Oh, it's just you. I mean... what the hell, Zexion!?" This is the first time they had run into each other since Halloween Town, and even that was a short lived visit. They could never just get together for a nice brunch and talk about things over tea, could they? No, there always had to be violence and demonic Christmas elves.

Hi to you too. Like my entrance? I worked very hard on it. --
Well, apparently it, and Zexion was going to address it as female from now on to save the trouble, was not exactly on good terms with Jericho. She was rather ruthless, which explained why she had been able to kill Kairi so easily; it was almost... okay it was most definitely not human. She lifted the illusion for just a mere moment and showed herself to be a suit of armor. How in the... well it answered his question more or less he supposed.
And now he was being lifted into the air by his neck. Again. What was it with people lifting him into the air by his neck? First the Riku Replica, then Saïx, and now this one. Mind you, there was at least a somewhat decent reason for this one doing so, but that didn't mean Zexion enjoyed the experience the third time around. He wondered if he should be disturbed that the image of Kairi was grinning menacingly at him. It was extremely unlike her.
Next thing he knew, he was flung out of the alleyway and made quite the spectacular landing. On Emi. Oh this was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. After realizing this, and that she wasn't a good landing cushion by any means because of her boniness, he got off of her as quickly as possible. "Hello to you too Emiline," he replied, "And what brings you here?" They really, really had to stop meeting like this.

Short post is about as short as Zexion. -- Emi narrowed her eyes at Zexion for a moment, and then stood up, dusted off her jeans, and picked up the cloak. " What brings me here?" she echoed. She shook her head. " I don't think I have the time to explain. What are you doing here, so conveniently in my way, as usual?" Deep down inside though, she couldn't ignore the fact she was actually glad to see him. She sighed, and smiled a little, and held her hand out to help him up.

I'm not THAT short... am I? --
He took her hand and let himself be helped up. He looked up at Emi, just as he had to with almost every other person in existence, and explained. "Jericho told me to come here to meet the rest of you. I already met... her." He gestured over to the illusion of Kairi. "Jericho seems to have disappeared though, leaving me with nothing to do it seems." Except get thrown at girls by suits of armor-- getting physically assaulted just always seemed to find itself on his to-do list.
"Is this everyone?" he asked. He really didn't want to spend his time looking for the others that were possibly in the group. Though, without anything else to do, he was at a loss.

I just hope neither of you will start moving on biological impulses now. Well, if anything, it seemed Animositas had some very good timing for throwing the midget, since not only did he hit someone, it hit someone they both apparently knew. Even if briefly, the Sentiment had met that girl, and could still remember her clearly. After all, very few things infuriated the armor, and she had suffered one of those: memory tampering by the hand of Jericho’s lackey. And had they both not disappeared so quickly, said girl would have left in worse condition than she did. “How polite of you to refer me as a female,” it commented in a cheerful tone, Kairi’s image coming out of the alley in a perky stroll. “And it’s not just Jericho who is gone. His female… I want to say pet, is also out of the picture, something I am sure you would appreciate greatly,” it looked at the dark skinned girl and smiled, before letting it fade due to its slight annoyance at the situation. “And Ethan has been reunited with his dead lover, so we won’t be seeing him around any time soon,” it finished explaining, not going into details of what that actually meant. It was always good having the advantage in such a situation, so letting the two of them think that Animositas itself had disposed of the man may be a smart move to play, just in case.

So, this is awkward but... -- Emi's ever-so-slight smile froze, and fell. Zexion was with Jericho too? Unless he had been forced into his company like she had, she had just lost a lot of respect for the Nobody. She hadn't heard a lot of what Kairi-Animositas, considering she had been so busy thinking of names to call Zexion for having joined the old man but something the girl...thing... said caught her attention. " Jericho gone? And all the others? I notice that but you don't really believe they're actually... actually gone do you?" Emi suddenly cut in. She chewed her lip for a moment because a thought had occurred to her. " Am I the only one happy about that possibility?"

I am special, I am happy, I am gonna heave. No, really. --
Well, not only was Jericho out of the picture, taken out by this creature nonetheless, but so was his female counterpart and a man named Ethan. Zexion quickly went back to what Jericho told him and who he had mentioned-- that seemed like all of them, and they were the last remaining. Interesting. Emi seemed a bit skeptical of it though, and happy oddly enough. Oh yes, he was thrilled about this too. Completely and utterly flamboyant with ecstasy.
That was of course possible, yes?
The Nobody kept a straight face as he replied to Emi. "The answer to both of your questions is yes. I cannot sense Jericho anymore." And he wasn't about to try again, not with his head still throbbing. But, now that they had established that none of them held allegiance to Jericho any longer, they had no reason to continue to communicate. Well, Zexion saw no point in communicating with either of them. The one posing as Kairi certainly could do as she pleased, and with Emi, he wasn't about to try and manipula... oh wait, Castle.
"For your information, Castle is looking for you. You'll be pleased to know that he is much stronger now," he told her, not going into any particular details. Now, addressing both of them, he said, "Unless there is some obscure reason for either of you to keep me, I will be on my way." To find something to do. To find a way to get his heart back. To do something productive.

Oh, god, thank you. -- Emi almost tried to stop him from leaving, even going as far as to uncross her arms but then he mentioned Castle. She sighed in relief. He was okay then, and looking for her which meant Jericho hadn't killed him yet. And if he was getting stronger, maybe that meant they stood a chance now. Not that they needed to now at least not against the old man and his memory-tampering pet. He really was gone if Zexion couldn't sense him anymore. She felt so relieved, so free, like the shackles had been removed from her hands and she could go wherever she wanted, when she wanted and do what she wanted, when she wanted. But she was afraid to walk away. What if Jericho came back and found her... he would kill her without a doubt. She was free, but not really as long as she was afraid to leave. Castle was stronger, and she could get stronger, too. So she would take this opportunity and she would run as fast and as far as she could. She would find her friend and they could get stronger together and if Jericho came back, they would fight him together. " I should be going, too," she said, tugging on the cloak. " Zexion, before you go, can you tell me where to find Castle?" Oh. Suddenly, something else hit her. " And before I forget, Arc wanted to see you or talk to you about something. I told him I would let you know, so you should probably try to find him. I last saw him in Twilight Town, but he's pretty hard to track down and he's probably not there anymore."

What am I, everyone's personal bloodhound? Do I get a fancy collar too? --
Interesting, Arc wanted to speak with him. It had been months since they chatted last, hadn't it? So many things had happened since the drakon had punched him in the face; what a fond memory. He would track down Arc later. Right now, Emiline was asking him to find Castle. Not where he was before, but where he was now. He was tempted to be snide and say that he didn't know and that it was her responsibility to find him, not his. Actually, that sounded like a decent idea.
"You will have to find him on your own. I do not know where he is." He thought for a second before adding to that. "He has changed since you've seen him last. Be wary of that." And the Schemer may or may not have had anything to do with that. But, now wasn't the time to continue conversation. He gave a nod of acknowledgement to 'Kairi' before disappearing into a Corridor of Darkness. It was time to go back to Radiant Garden.

This was... interesting. The Sentiment simply stood as the two humanoids started going on an on, a conversation it was starting to find dull. Particularly when they started to bring up other people. The armor wasn’t there to socialize. It couldn’t socialize. As much as it learnt from Ethan, making friends wasn’t exactly high on its list. At the most, it could make alliances to ensure its continual survival, and it appeared just as much may have been accomplished already. Gesturing a wave towards the Nobody as it left, Animositas was left alone with the girl that had, until not long ago, been pushed and dragged around by the four-eyed eyesore. And the entire reason she wasn’t annihilated right then and there for that partnership of hers was due to mutual contempt towards him. “You have your freedom again. Don’t waste it,” it spoke coldly, turning around and starting to walk away. The armor was not a stranger to that situation. Finding oneself suddenly with freedom to move, but an indecisive will. But, as a human, she may be able to gather the strength for that more easily.
