Can't say she seems very nice... Soren turned towards Emi. Huh. This chick seemed waay on edge, even for the situation. That wasn't going to get anyone anywhere, if she was yelling at everyone. The Loru girl was distracted, thank God, so he turned his attention to Emi.
"Well, you can hardly blame anyone, can you? Besides, the people falling through recently haven't heard the questions of the people who got here first, and might assume on of them knows what's happening..." He shrugged, fully expecting to be yelled at or ignored. People never took the advice of guys with bird wings.

Persistence
Anyone else probably would have been discouraged at the lack of a friendly reply, but Aerith was not one to give up on someone that easily. In her experience, people who shut themselves off were really quite lonely on the inside. Cloud was a good example of that. Obviously, the cloaked man in front of her was not Cloud, and he probably had different motivations and tendencies from the blond swordsman. But loneliness was a universal experience for everyone. Even she felt lonely at times.
She was about to say something in reply when the woman who had previously been staring at the wall was no longer staring at the wall and instead tackling another cloaked man who had appeared. She blinked, her attention for the moment off the man with the book. Things were very strange here, indeed. She should have been worried about the possibility of violence if more of these cloaked people kept showing up, but she was not. For one thing, she doubted the red haired man would be able to do much of anything if that woman persisted in smothering him.
Turning her gaze back on the man with the book, she smiled warmly again. "Yes, you may inquire." She finally removed her finger from his book and laughed a little. "I know you don't know me, so it isn't fair of me to assume that you would know this. But you were over here by yourself, and I thought you looked lonely. And I don't like people to feel lonely if I can help it. That's why I asked if you wanted to talk."

If I Had a Heart, I'd Be Embarrassed
Avoidance was no longer open to him. Crazy woman had spotted him, squealed like a little girl, and then launched herself in his direction. Her arms wrapped around him like vices, and the next thing he knew, he was on his back. Boy, this didn't seem familiar at all. She wasn't sniffing his hair yet, but he knew that was inevitable. It didn't seem like she was in hurry to get off him any time soon.
While he had been in the process of getting tackled, Xigbar had apparently shown up. There was no mistaking that "as if" he had heard. Perfect. Zexion and Xigbar were seeing him like this. He could already anticipate the comments. Hopefully, that's all Xigbar would have for him. The Flame would rather not suddenly be looking down the barrel of Xiggy's guns.
Axel squirmed beneath crazy woman in an attempt to get her off. He would have used much more force if he wasn't wary of her turning violent on him. "Look, my name isn't 'Red,' okay? It's Axel. Think you can memorize that?"

Weird Cloud had been outside of town, in the Great Maw, battling heartless last he remembered. He didn't actually have any real reason for being there, aside from fighting for the sake of fighting. It may have been sort of pointless since they weren't endangering anyone at the moment, and every one he destroyed would obviously return. But he had nothing else to do, and somehow it made him feel better; an outlet for his built up anger. Besides, he couldn't have himself getting soft. He needed to prepare for when a real threat ended up showing up. A threat like the man who had attacked Radiant Garden... Or Sephiroth. He leaped into the air, bringing his sword swinging down at a nearby Morning Star. However, much to his surprise, he seemed to have missed the fairly easy target completely. Much stranger was the fact that he hadn't landed back on the ground. He was now free falling through the air; something that didn't even remotely make sense. From the looks of things, he sure wasn't in Radiant Garden anymore. All around him, everying seemed to be pure white. Looking down, he saw that there seemed to be something below him, and he was approaching it with increasing speed. There appeared to be a number of people scattered around the odd white room, though it was hard to tell exactly what was going on from such a distance. Readying himself for the impact, he managed to land on his feet. Now, to try and figure out what on earth was going on. Looking around, Cloud began to scan the crowd around him. Most everyone there were strangers to him, but there was one face that he saw that he was very much familiar with: Aerith. As he moved closer to her, he saw that she was standing with some guy, talking to him. Although the identity of this man wasn't one he really knew, his cloak told one thing about him. This man was a member of Organization XIII. And as everyone should know, Organization XIII meant trouble. Deciding he better go check on the situation, he moved over to her. "Aerith, do you have any idea what's going on?" he asked, still very confused with situation. His eyes then narrowed, as he suddenly turned his gaze to the Nobody with the big black book. "And what do you want?" he demanded rather rudely. Despite the fact that it hadn't crossed his mind, he was still holding his Buster Sword, which probably looked very threatening as well.

Are You Trying to Frighten Me? Xigbar seemed to join them as well, the only one out of all of them to fall gracefully. Zexion rolled his eyes to his words, choosing to respond to them first before responding to the brunette standing in front of him. "So uncreative Xigbar," he said, false disappointment in his tone, "Is this all you could come up with it? I would have thought you were more creative." He then turned back to the brunette, ignoring the next scent that dropped down from above; there was no incredibly loud thudding sound, so he guessed the newcomer landed on their feet as well.
This woman had so far gathered from Zexion that he was... lonely. He raised an eyebrow to this, keeping his Lexicon in the same position. She had deduced that he was lonely by the mere fact that he was reading instead of socializing. He would rather not waste his time speaking with strangers who may or may not be hostile; based on what he saw of the girl he landed on, he was glad he had not tried to socialize with her more. She was currently on top of Axel, causing the Schemer to smirk; he would have this moment memorized for sure.
Before he could open his mouth to refute this woman's claims that he was lonely and needed someone to talk to, the man he recognized as one of her friends walked over... with a large sword in hand. He supposed that if he had a heart, he would have been more fearful of this. The man was looming over him with a sword about as big as the Nobody itself, causing said Nobody to be backed into the wall. He did not let fear cross over his features, instead making eye contact with the man and giving him a critical stare.
"No one is aware of what is going on," Zexion explained to him in his normal, empty tone, "All of them entered just as unaware of what you are. As for what I want, if you could perhaps lower your weapon; no one in their right state of mind would attack you here." Though, from what Zexion could already tell of the people in this room, there were not too many that were in their right state of mind... lovely. It was going to be like the club all over again for him wasn't it? He turned his gaze back to Aerith now.
"But yet you do not seem to know me as well, assuming that I am lonely when I am in fact not. If you will excuse me..." He put his Lexicon back in his face to read it again, avoiding eye contact now; he was going to do this as long as possible until he felt it was time to leave, which was any minute now...

Castle was about to retort to Emi's shouting when he got distracted by one of the girls tackling the cloaked guy who wasn't Zexion. He'd seen her fall in, but he hadn't gotten a good look at her before now. She looked like a homeless person... or a nut job. Possibly both. Well, if she knew that guy, maybe he would be able to take care of her. Castle heard him say his name was Axel.
With those observations out of the way, he turned his attention back to the situation at hand. He examined each of the walls, or what might be walls, and then the ceiling. He took another step away from Emi and high jumped, rising the full ten feet and swiping at the air above him. No contact. Nothing solid.
He landed easily and straightened up. "Nothing," he muttered, "Well, nothing ten or twelve feet up. Figures."

Aww, and I was this close to killing an infant, too. Maybe next time... Suddenly, a familiar face invaded Zexion's vision. "I would!" Ava exclaimed happily. And he would, too. There was no reason not to. I mean, sure, they might be stronger than him. Hell, they might even kill him, but that wouldn't stop the insanity that is Avarice Entropy, would it?
Well, actually, it would, and it did. Ava was not about to face this kind of odds. Everyone gathered here was at least slightly weaker than him, and if all of them teamed up on him, he would be destroyed easily. "Zexy, it's been a while," the Heartless said, the ever-present grin on his face stretching wider. "You look sick. Aren't you happy to see me~?"
Ava cackled and looked around, surveying the people gathered. Well, it was quite the plethora of people. They had a winged man, a dragon man, a man with a big sword, a Nobody with a big book, a Nobody with strange hair, a girl who looked like she would be fun to play with, a thinner girl who looked like she could still hold her own, a Nobody who looked full of himself, the woman in front of him who seemed motherly, some idiot guy who tried to escape upward, some other guy who seemed to like breaking--either that or leaning really, really hard on--the fourth wall, and...Furiae.
"Delightful! The woman who put the hole in my chest is here!" Ava pointed at her with glee on his face. "HOW DO YOU LIKE THE BRUISES?!" he shouted across the grey room at her, the grin still on his face, and seemingly immobile, except to gain strength. The Heartless turned back to face Zexion. "I played with her. She gave me the hole, I gave her bruises. All in all, we had a nice game."

Oh good. It's the Heartless again. Furiae blinked. Just when it seemed that this wasn't going to be so bad, here was the asshole who had pretty much beaten her. Well, she had trained some. Not enough, but some.
She liked that it had kept the hole in its chest. While it was a reminder that the thing was near-indestructible, it was also a reminder that it could be hurt.
"That hole in your chest is quite flattering, Heartless. It suits you," she replied. "Perhaps I could interest you in a missing head, to complete the look?" Of course, considering the nature if the thing, it'd probably be fine when she did that. Then it would most likely walk around carrying its own head. What a lovely sight that would make.

My New Friend
After another cloaked man made a rather dramatic entrance, Aerith returned her eyes to the man with the book. She realized he had not given her his name, which anyone else would have probably taken offense to, but she brushed it off easily. Since his hair partially obscured his face, only one of his eyes was clearly visible, and the look it was giving her was not the warmest in the world. That shouldn't have surprised her. If he was a Nobody, he was not capable of emotion, but that did not mean Aerith was going to dismiss him as a lost cause. Perhaps it could be construed as a weakness of hers, but she always sought the positive in people.
He was going to speak to her again, but they were interrupted by someone approaching from behind. Aerith turned to find Cloud standing there, his Buster Sword out, which did not help him look any less threatening. She was glad to see Cloud on the one hand, but on the other, having him standing there, demanding information from the cloaked man was not exactly going to make him any more willing to talk. This was confirmed when the man stated that he was not lonely and went back to reading his book.
For the moment, she left the man to his reading and turned to Cloud. While she had been focused on the book lover, another person had dropped into the room who gave off a vibe of dark insanity, but he immediately fixated on the icy woman. That was good. Cloud did not need any more reasons to keep his sword unsheathed. She put a hand on the weapon's hilt, inadvertently brushing his fingers, and smiled. "I think you can put that away, Cloud. Everything is fine right now. I was only talking to my new friend here. ...Who has not given me his name yet, by the way." Optimistic as ever, she turned back to the cloaked man. "Would you mind if I knew your name?"

A Truly Puzzling Situation Vexen was shifting through a stack of research papers, relating to his latest studies. As he did this, he made his way down Twilight's View, on his way to the library to look at a certain set of old writings of his, as references. Despite the fact that he could have merely teleported down there, he had chosen to walk as it was not far and it gave him time to read the new data he was holding. The scientist had used the silver staircase enough times to be very much aware of it's layout. However, as he absentmindedly stepped down to the next step, his foot didn't land where it should have. It didn't land anywhere. Before he could stop to process this oddity, he was falling. As he fell, the silver and grey around him morphed into complete whiteness.
Although he noticed the quickly approaching ground before he reached it, Vexen did not managed to land at all gracefully. That is-- unless one would consider landing flat on his face graceful. Hastily standing up, he began looked around in observation. Surprisingly enough, there were several around that he recognized. Including two members of the Organization, and one ex-member. Zexion, of course, was sitting in a corner reading. Though oddly enough he seemed to be surrounded by a small crowd of people. While he wasn't entirely sure what Xigbar was up to, "no good" would likely be an accurate assumption.
He frowned at the sight of the red-headed Nobody. It had been a long time since he had seen Axel; since Castle Oblivion. And the last time they had been together, one of them chose to incinerate the other. Needless to say, they were no longer on the best of terms. Still, as much as Vexen wanted to get revenge on the Flurry, there were more interesting matters to look into first. Such as: where were they and how had they gotten there? His research papers were no longer anywhere to be seen, an unimportant fact that he noticed before moving on with his analysis of the situation. One thing was for sure, this was unlike anything he had ever seen before.

The only thing that would make this worse would be a little floating fairy going "Hey, listen... Hey, listen... Hey, listen..." Things kept going downhill from Elrick’s point of view. Of course, that probably had to do with the fact he was stuck in a room full of strangers, who were very unfortunately not entirely strangers amongst themselves. He mostly blocked the rambling sound, staring around the room and seeing how things evolved. Surely enough, someone would start a fight any moment now. Something distracted him at one point though. Yet another person dressed in what could only be called a trench coat fell into the room, much less gracefully than the previous one. Then again, the previous black cloaked man looked both dangerous and experienced enough not to, well, make a fool of himself while free falling, something even he hadn’t managed to accomplish. The newest addition to the Room Full of Crazy, however, looked like the complete opposite. “Wow, dude looks like a lady,” he let out without noticing, his mouth filter falling once again. The following sound effects and repetition of the statement in a song fashion immediatelly came to mind. “And an ugly one at that,” he added insult to injury. Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Des... Ah, Screw it... “Of course the room had to be white an empty Zexy, it’s meant to drive you all insane!” Xigbar yelled, trying to get people’s attention and somewhat failing. How was he supposed to make some entertainment for himself if nobody started hitting someone else or causing mayhem of any kind? Playing grand master in a game he had put them all into was obviously failing, so maybe he’d need to stir up things himself. “Well, if you guys aren’t gonna start on your own, I’ll need to do it myself,” he pulled out his arrowguns, aiming in two different directions. Mainly Axel and Zexion, since he felt somewhat more comfortable aiming at people he already knew. The logic behind that train of thought was lost in translation. Someone new arrived behind him, prompting a young man to comment on his appearance. “Welcome to my little game Vexen, you up for it?” Xigbar smirked, not even needing to turn around to figure out who the ‘dude that looks like a lady’ was. Even Marluxia with his pink hair could be more easily seen as a male than him in his eyes. Without further notice, Xigbar pulled the triggers and started shooting at his targets. He needed to entertain himself somehow after all, or else he’d go insane just as mentioned before. I guess that's better than him pointing one of those at his head and summoning his inner self to fight us... “Oh for fuck’s sake…” Elrick slowly stood up; prompted by the fact the ponytail dude had started to go nuts on them all. He hated guns with such a strong passion, he obviously wasn’t going to even get close to him. Rather, he was mostly getting ready for dodging any bullets that might go in his direction, maybe pushing someone out of the way.

THIS IS TORTURE, ISN'T IT?! -- Emi watched Castle jump and sighed at his verdict. She looked around at the chaos quickly building. People getting tackled... and now some madman was shooting up the place! Emi ducked down a bit, fully aware of how little that helped but she did it out of instinct. " Hey, you idiot, cut it out!" she shouted, throwing her hands up. That's when she realized who it was. She straighted up. " You! The guy from the club!" She took off running for him. She was aware she was only adding to the building chaos and that was probably the goal of whoever had put them here. She didn't care, her heart was already pounding and the only thing that was going to make her feel better was to punch that guy's face in. She only had vague memories of that night- it was the tequila- but she knew she was mad at the guy and she didn't care he had a gun or two. She'd honestly gone up against worse. Fortunately for her, the floor dissolved before she even reached Xigbar. All of the floor, under everyone's feet, simply vanished, leaving them to start free falling again. Emi, having woken up on the floor, had been the only one spared this treatment before. She locked up in panic when she landed in a pool of water that had formed underneath them, after falling for a few terrifying seconds. The landing was worse than the fall because Emi was deathly afraid of water. She didn't even know how to swim. And now, she was underwater and panicking. It was like her worst nightmare, and she actually did dream about drowning quite often. Buttons is a cat. Cats don't like water. -- Loru simply went with the flow when the floor went. She had been making her way up to rub her face in Axel's hair again, but then they were laying on dissolved underneath them. She didn't mind the water too much, but her clothes were making it a bit hard to swim. She surfaced and then simply floated around on her back, staring up into the white expanse yet again. She completely ignored the screaming, flailing teenage girl across the pool. Her constant companion, Buttons the Invisible Cat, was curled up comfortably on her stomach. Perfectly dry and enjoying the ride. Loru reached up, shook one sopping sleeve off her hand and patted Buttons. " Good kitty."

Someone Needs Some More Excitement in His Life
Axel had thought this place could not get any weirder, but he was proven wrong. One minute, he was pinned to the floor; the next, he was suddenly underwater, trying to untangle himself from crazy woman. She finally surfaced, and he was quick to follow. His head broke the surface, and he gasped in air. Water was pouring from his now very flattened hair. He looked around the room while keeping himself afloat.
The positive in this situation was that crazy woman was content for the moment to float on her back, stroking something invisible on her stomach. A cat friend, apparently. At least something other than himself was keeping her happy, so Axel took the opportunity to find someone else--anyone else, really--to talk to. Though, now that the floor had turned to water, everyone looked like they were in a state of bewilderment.
And then Axel spotted Vexen. He grinned. It was about time he got to mess with someone in this room, and the scientist was the perfect target. The Flame wondered if Vexen could even swim. He was about to find out. Circling around discreetly, Axel made his way behind Vexen and ever so slowly snuck up on him. When he got within about two feet of the Chilly Academic, Axel released a very pronounced cough to get his target's attention.
"Heya, Vexen. Did you come back just to see me again? I didn't know you missed me that much." Moving quickly, he put his hands on Vexen's shoulders and dunked him under the water. "Welcome back!" Releasing his grip on the scientist after a couple of seconds, Axel drifted back a few feet to admire his handiwork, waiting for Vexen to resurface. "Too bad for you that the feeling isn't mutual."

This is Not My Day It seemed to be a gathering of the masses. Ava surfaced as soon as Zexion's words left his lips, coming over to him as well. What was this, "Crowd Around Zexion" Day? Could he not leave the World That Never Was without others smothering him? It was not as if he was trying to attract their attention either, nor would he ever; no, Zexion typically preferred to stick to the shadows and blend into the background. Of course, blending into a white background when one was wearing black was not an easy task. The Schemer made an effort to continue reading, keeping his eyes on his book so he would not have to look at that despicable creature.
The woman was certainly persistent in speaking to him, wasn't she? She now wanted his name; could she not see that he was making an effort to not speak with others? He was not here to socialize with strangers and he did not particularly want to talk with others that he knew. If he spoke with Axel too candidly, Xigbar and Vexen, the latter just appearing as well, would grow far too suspicious. And Emi... yes he remembered the last time the two of them met in a similar gathering; he did not a repeat of that.
His attention was finally grabbed when Xigbar started shooting, particularly at him and Axel. He instinctively ducked and lowered to the ground, not wanting to get hit by the shots; if any of the three surrounding him got hit, it was not his fault. Though, almost as soon as he ducked, the floor under him vanished again, causing him and everyone else to start falling again. Zexion quickly made the Lexicon disappear once he saw what was under him, plunging feet first into water.
The Schemer was not a swimmer, to put it bluntly. He flailed around a bit, gasping for breath until he clutched for the very small edge of this pool. It was only about an inch or so of an edge, which was barely enough to hold onto but Zexion did it anyway. His breathing was rapid now, but it gradually slowed down when he found that he was no longer in immediate danger of sinking to the bottom of the pool. He was not about to guess how deep it was either; he did not want to. All he knew was that now every last part of him was drenched and his hair was sticking to his face. Emi was also drowning it seemed and Axel was dunking Vexen underwater... perfect.
"Zexion," he managed to say after all this time, looking at the woman. He then looked at Vexen, waiting for him to surface before he said his next words with a hint of slyness in his tone. "Before you decide to blame this on me Vexen, please note that this is not my doing." Sure, he was a master of illusions and he could probably create this sort of thing if he truly wanted to. However, he did not like doing it with this many people nor did he know half of them.

Wings are good flotation devices. Soren fell straight into the water, very annoyed. He didn't like water. It made his wings damp and useless for flying. However, his wings also worked like flotation devices, allowing him to float comfortably. He noticed the girl who yelled a lot was really freaking out. Oh, crap, if she kept that up she was going to drown. He pulled her up as fast as he could- she thrashed around a lot, which really hurt. "Ow! Hey, stop it! You'll be fine, okay? Ow!"------------------------- Need a platform or something. Furiae thought quickly. While she could swim, she didn't really want to. Besides, her scythe weighed her down a great deal. Okay, if I could...and it would drop the temperature around it enough to...and then it would...yes, that would work. I think. She moved to a side where nobody was. When the shards from her spell exploded, the area around themalso cooled to a great degree. It would be cold enough to...well, hopefully, freeze some of the water. She fired it directly below her. When the shards exploded, the water near them froze solid. It didn't stick to the floor, thank God, and floated slowly upward. A couple seconds later, Furiae was sitting calmly on a decent-sized platform of ice, hacking away at the top to make it flatter. It would hold only four to five people at the most, but she'd prefer it if they just clinged to the side anyway. Then she wouldn't have to deal with company. Out of boredom, she watched the red-haired guy in the black cloak force another cloaked man underwater. She didn't exactly approve. While she didn't know or care about either of them, she felt a sort of kindred spirit in the man currently being forced underwater. She would probably let the guys in black cloaks on without a problem- they seemed interesting enough, and powerful besides. One even started shooting the others. Interesting.
