Audition: All things where quiet in Radiant Garden, though that didn't mean things were uneventful. If one noticed, there seemed to be something moving in the shadows. It moved quickly, making sure not to be seen by anyone. Its destination soon became clear, it was headed for Merlin's house. The figure stealthily headed inside and soon found her target. "Hiya!!" she screamed as she went for it....and missed. Leon had moved over, causing her to mess up. She now sat on the floor frustrated, as Leon questioned her. "....What are you up to Yuffie?"
Yuffie sighed as she got up and dusted herself off. "Aw, why'd you have to move, Squall? I was so close to surprising you!" she exclaimed disappointed it hadn't work. She had been so careful too, making sure she wasn't seen and everything. Though she soon was getting one of those patented Leon stares as she realized why she was receiving one. "Oh right. Sorry, I meant Leon." She still found herself accidentally calling him Squall. She still didn't really understand why he felt he had to change his name, but she didn't question it, she just had to make sure and remember to correct herself when talking to him. She should have been used to the name change by now but it still slipped her mind from time to time. Leon then spoke up again. "So, how was your patrol this time around?" he asked her.
She then got serious (or at least as serious as she could be). "Nothing really to report Squ- I mean Leon. Everything's been pretty quiet recently. Which is nice since that means that gives us a chance to rebuild the town, right?" She crossed her arms and rested her head on one hand. "Although......the castle seems to be acting up. Last time I checked it seemed to still give off a dark presence....like that witch is back....And I also think I saw someone leave that kind of looked like someone Cloud is familiar with....Though I don't think it was that person..." She knew she was being a bit vague, but she hadn't really gotten a good luck and most of it was speculation on her part. However, the castle didn't sit right with her. Leon seemed to be thinking about the information she gave, trying to think of what to do with it.
"I think you should keep an eye on it for now, just in case..." he said after awhile. Yuffie then gave him a salute and cheery smile. "Right! You can count on me!" she replied cheerfully. She then cheerfully exited the house with a hop and a skip in her step. "Okay! Time to check out that castle!" she exclaimed and soon ran off in the castle's direction. She reached it pretty quickly and stared at it. It still seemed to give off an eerie feeling and it made Yuffie feel sick to her stomach for some reason.
However her thoughts were soon interrupted when she barely avoided the attack of a Neoshadow heartless. She did a back flip away from it and took out her fuma shuriken. However, as she went to attack the heartless went away, leaving her confused. She looked back up at the castle trying to think why it was the only area that was so covered in darkness. "There's definitely something up with that castle...."
