I am the monster in your head. Ava dodged to the side, his blades whipping up in a protective fashion. He slashed most of the icicles away, but some of them scraped and stabbed him in various places. "Heh, is that all you've go-" The Heartless was cut off by the explosions from the icicles. Flying backward, Ava slammed into a wall. Falling off of it, the Heartless lay motionless a moment before getting up and grinning.
"That was fun," he said, picking up his blades and spinning them slowly in a circle as he approached her, walking at a leisurely pace, random, color-shifting ichor oozing from his wounds. "I think you should play that game. I rather enjoyed it." Kneeling down on one knee, Ava stabbed his katana into the ground, one to his left, one to his right. He then drew some of the ichor from his wounds to pool into his hands.
The stuff was greenish, and was now changing to be grayish with red highlights. Ava stared down at it, transfixed for a moment. He remembered where he was, then, and threw the ooze into the air, and it spread into ten masses, spreading to be the same consistency as the icicles that Furiae had summoned to her aid. They dropped down to land around him in a circle, all of them pointing at their target: Furiae.
Then, suddenly, they shot, all of them flying off to seek her, trying to destroy her utterly and completely. They were grayer than hers had been, with a red flame burning in their center, which somehow didn't melt the ice. The grin on Ava's face grew. "See, now you can play that game, too. But, this one is even better." He cackled maniacally, pulling his twin katana out of the ground and preparing for more fighting.

Lost It seemed no matter the situation, Zeke Perdido had a million questions to ask. Where am I? being the biggest of these at the moment. He appeared to be in some sort of large building, an uninhabited one maybe. The silence was... Zeke would have normally called it unnerving, but for some reason it felt a bit relaxing.
Whatever world this was, if it even was one (his mind conjured up many possibilities, the afterlife maybe?) he would have no way of finding out in this place. He had to find somebody, anybody that could tell him where he was, and that meant finding an exit from this castle. Castle? Yes, Zeke supposed it was large enough to be called that.
There was a mirror that Zeke found himself pass by. He was curious how he looked. Probably very dirty. He hadn't had a wash in... how long? Zeke had no idea.
"W-What?"
The person that stared back at Zeke wasn't him. Or, well, didn't exactly look like him. The mirror gave him an image of a boy that was slightly taller, one that had grown. Of course, Zeke had always been small, so any extra bits of height were welcomed. What shocked the boy, however, was the fact that his eyes were no longer green. They were black. Well, almost black, there was thankfully a hint of green still left in them.
What did any of this mean? Zeke didn't like the Zeke that stared back at him in this mirror. It was a Zeke that had been through too much. One that had dropped into a pit of despair. Zeke was scared, but his mirror image was stoic, unemotional. What did it--
A sudden wave of nausea hit the boy. He stumbled two steps to the left before bending over and puking his guts out. The thing was, he hadn't eaten in forever it seemed, and so his puke was nothing but bile and saliva. Spots of darkness clouded his vision. "What is this?"
Zeke had no answer, like usual.
The sounds of fighting could now be heard. Well, not the sounds of fighting, more like a feel of fighting. With the wave of nausea gone, Zeke felt his body approach this area. He didn't want to run into people in a fight, but something was pushing him to go. He couldn't think clearly at all.
It was strong and it was forceful, whatever was pushing him.
When he finally turned that last corner, Zeke walked in on something could not have expected. He saw the three fighters midst battle and something inside of him jumped in excitement. Zeke inwardly frowned at this. What was there to be excited about? He wanted to turn around and run as far away from this as he could, but something inside of him would not let him go. Something inside of him was screaming. It was very excited.
"Hey!" That wasn't Zeke talking, it was the thing inside of him. He was losing control of himself at a quick rate. "Hey!" he repeated.
No, I don't want their attention!
The thing inside didn't care.

Demon of Winter They were more interesting than she had previously believed. The silver-haired one interested her the most. Heartless got their power from an outside source. The silver-haired one had not.
It would be quite satisfying to destroy them.
She managed to block the blows from the man, Iceheart's long steel handle being useful for such a purpose. "Indeed. However, I do not care for fairness. I will gain much more from fighting both of you at once."
She noticed the Heartless just in time to see the spell he was casting. Her calm demeanor cracked for just a second, letting a quick flash of anger show through, then just as quickly healed itself. The creature's best attack was mimicking another fighter? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. She would put the thing out of its misery.
She dodged most of the copied icicles, but two scored hits, damaging her left arm somewhat. Ah! Heat! Where the copied icicles had hit, there was a terrible searing pain as if she had been scorched by fire. She could barely think enough to move forward, dodging some of the exploded shards but taking quite a few into her back. The fire which spread through her from those shards was horrible, taboo for someone so closely tied to ice. Even when the pain stopped, there was an unpleasant warmth that she desperately wanted to leave her.
That was it. She didn't care how strong they were, she was going to everything she could to kill them. They had burned her, made her bleed, shown her that she wasn't strong enough yet. Legends did not bleed. The obsession that had driven her for many years rose to the surface.
She was the Demon of Winter. She was not going to fall to these two.
She focused on the creature that had burned her. Without a sound, she ran at him, seeming to take a charging swing- then, as silent as snow landing on the ground, she jumped behind him and used the handle to knock him down. She then lifted he scythe. Even if he dodged, she'd get a glancing blow on the creature due to the scythe's size, and the shape and weight of the scythe made it near impossible to block when swung downward at a grounded target.
She paid no attention to the calling voice.

Be Our Guest With the size of her weapon in consideration, Kadaj wasn't too surprised that the girl managed to block his attacks. Noticing Ava's attack, he jumped out of the way and watched as it burned the girl. The attack quite nearly resembled the girl's previous attack, though it was fire instead of ice; direct opposites. Kadaj studied it for a minute, wondering why Ava hadn't bothered to use that attack when he was fighting him. Though, the remnant did only fight with his sword and nothing else, giving Ava nothing to work with; for some reason, that made him smirk more.
There was another voice calling out to them, though the girl seemed concentrated on getting payback for getting burned. Since Ava was going to have to deal with that, it was Kadaj's responsibility to deal with the voice calling out to them. He turned over to find the man, a short one at that. Well, Maleficent wasn't going to be happy that she had all of these intruders in her castle now. Kadaj managed to get one of them over to their side, but the girl just seemed to want to kill them; not a very new feeling.
"Well what do we have here?" Kadaj asked the boy in front of him; he didn't look much older than he did, though this kid probably had an actual age unlike him. "Another intruder in my castle." Again, he truly did not care if it was technically Maleficent's castle; he did all the darn work, so it was just as much his as it was hers, even if he wasn't here all that often. He absentmindedly twirled the Souba in his hand, not ever moving it in a way to attack but simply playing with it.

Unable to Resist Zeke stared at the silver haired man, who was probably about the same age as Zeke, if his size was any indication. His black outfit was weird and the man himself a bit unnerving to look at. However, the thing inside Zeke appeared to enjoy this man's presence.
"Yeah, I guess I am," Zeke responded. No, the boy wanted to turn away, get lost, but his body wasn't having any of it. He absently placed his right hand on his sword hilt. The sword... something Zeke had totally forgot he had, even after staring at himself in that mirror. It was cracked and broken from before. It had been nothing like his father's swords. Maybe if he had had one of those, they wouldn't be in the same condition.
Zeke raised his left hand in a conversational manner. "Do you have a problem with that?" He looked at the two fighters behind the black-suited guy, a white-haired girl and a dark-skinned boy. The boy in particular caught Zeke's attention. "Or is there a party going on?"
Of course, Zeke wouldn't normally talk like this. Whatever was compelling him to move was taking him on for a ride, and Zeke could do nothing but let it. Absently, he noted, his head hurt.

I am the venom in your skin. Ava was surprised. He hadn't thought she would move that fast with that unwieldy scythe. His mind had to move quickly as he fell forward, flipping over in the air, the mind of Fear taking control. It was knocked out of place by the intellectual, however, as that mindframe had a plan. Stabbing both swords into the ground, Ava used the momentum gained from shoving backward to force his feet forward, propelling him into his assailant's chest.
But that wasn't the worst part. Ava had spread his legs, wrapping them around her as he slammed into her, and now, with both of his katana in hand, he was prepared to strike her down right there. And if not for the fact that his fun would then be over, he would have. But no, Ava wanted his fun with this woman to last, so, as she fell backward, off balance due to the sudden increase of pressure on her front, Ava stabbed his blades into the ground and flung himself out of harm's reach.
All in all, he had inflicted little to no damage to the woman. The worst damage would be to her pride, which seemed rather inflated. Now she'll be angry, and angry people make mistakes and get their hearts taken~ Of course, there would be more effort to it than that. Ava turned to face her again, a mocking grin on his face. "Did the delicate maiden lose her balance and topple over?" He said mockingly, his voice attempting to sound sweet and caring but still managing to sound wicked and evil. Especially since it was deep and all.
Flourishing his blades, Ava was prepared for her maneuvers this time. He was not about to get caught unawares. Of course, he still had her ability committed to memory temporarily. He might just use that. Or wait for the newcomer to use something that looked fun. Yes, maybe the newcomer would use something that he could twist to his own means. Then he could kill her with something else fiery. Or maybe he wouldn't kill her at all...no, he'll leave this one alive. She can chase after him and it will torture her to no end that she can't kill him. He can then feast on her heart, and devour the succulent fear, hate, rage, despair, and all that which is negative. Oh, but evil hearts tasted the best. Especially the proud ones.

Obsession Furiae forced herself to show no emotion. Not her frustration, not her anger. She should not, must not, give into those emotions.
She refused to acknowledge her pride, writhing and crying out in rage like a wounded beast. Calm. That was what she had to be. Calm and uncaring.
"Mocking. How juvenile. If we continue, will you start calling me names, child?" Child was an appropriate nickname for the Heartless in front of her, she supposed.
A retreat would be advisable. The Heartless was strong. But she found that her mind rejected the idea with force. She wanted to kill him. Had to kill him. She could not live knowing that there were those that were stronger than her. Even if she lost, she would train herself even more, find him, and fight him again. And again. And again. It would go on until she won or died.
She raised her scythe in a defensive position. She was not going to make the mistake of charging him again.

So What's It Gonna Be? Kadaj stared at the boy in front of him, a bit curious about him. He was just standing there and talking to the silver-haired remnant conversationally. He reached for his sword, though whether he was going to do anything with it by trying to hit the person he was talking to was questionable. It didn't seem like he was going to, for his hand just stayed on the hilt and didn't do anything else. The Souba remained in Kadaj's hand nonetheless, waiting for the right moment to attack. It would only be if this guy raised his weapon.
"Oh there is," he replied, his tone conversational as well, "But I don't remember you being on the guest list." The Souba was now pointed at the boy, though it did not make a motion to attack. "Do you want to join? I don't mind." What was he going to do now, Kadaj wondered. If this kid actually decided to try and fight him, then it would give him some entertainment while Ava played with the girl. He didn't count on the boy just leaving after coming to the castle.
"So what's it gonna be?" His tone dropped as he paced a few steps, almost circling this new kid while his sword was still extended. Maleficent wouldn't be happy to know that she had so many intruders in her castle if she bothered to come down and look, which wasn't likely. He sort of felt bad for his brothers right now too since he was the one having most of the fun these days. And from now on, Ava was going to join in on their fun. Kadaj had to keep to his word after all.

After your worthless life is through... Oh, so she finally learned something, Ava thought, grinning greedily. Good, I was beginning to think she wasn't going to be a bit of a challenge. The Heartless spun his twin katana, flourishing them again. Oh, but this one would be fun to torture. He would get much pleasure once he finally devoured her heart...perhaps he should call some of his kin to fight her...no, that would be much too much. He was going to torture her himself.
"I might just, as I have no name to call you by," Ava's grin grew as he twirled his right katana, having slowly walked until he reached the wall, well within range to... Leaping into the air, Ava kicked off of the wall, heading straight for the wintry woman who was his current foe. As he near, he drew back, and prepared to slam into her. He was prepared to bowl her over with sheer pressure, for the second time. Unless, of course, she dodged, but with that scythe, she would be hard pressed to get a blow in edgewise.I will remember how you scream.

Impulse To the silver-haired man, the boy probably looked calm. However, Zeke was afraid. Very afraid. How would you feel if you were dropped into an unfamiliar place with an unfamiliar thing inside of you, and being pushed around by it? At least it seemed the thing-- no, it was more of a force Zeke realized-- wasn't keen on fighting the man before him. Not yet, at least.
But, was the force really that unfamiliar? Zeke was starting to think otherwise...
"Maybe. It might be fun." The force was still the one talking, but Zeke felt himself gaining more control. Maybe he might be able to leave after all. He didn't want to talk to this man anymore and he didn't want to be in this castle anymore. He wanted to be around normal looking people.
Suddenly, the force took full control again. "Let's try it," Zeke said, pulling out the cracked sword. The force inside was curious, Zeke could sense. Curious? He was going to end up killed because of this!

An Opening The creature made as if to slam into her, a terrible mistake by all accounts. An opening...Perhaps the creature is getting a little too excited for its own good. Instead of dodging, she turned her scythe upside down and held it in front of her at an angle. When he slammed into her, he knocked her down- but he had also charged into the blade of her scythe, which cut deep. A good-sized wound. Perhaps it was luck, perhaps not...but the creature would at least be a little slower, a little weaker. She rolled to the side, standing up as fast as she could.
"You may call me Furiae. You possess skill but lack foresight, child." She prepared herself again.

Ooh, I got hit. Maybe she'll put up more of a fight now. Ava didn't pull backward. When she pulled the scythe out with her fall, he stared down at the gaping hole in his chest, his face concealed from view. When he raised it, there was a wide grin on his face. It was almost as if he didn't feel the gaping hole in his chest. Of course, that meant that the color changing ichor from before was oozing out again, but the Heartless didn't really notice.
"Tag...I'm it," the man without a heart said as he began to giggle and spun both of his katana around again. He rushed her, this time making sure not to fall for such a simple trick. No, this time, he would strike her with his katana, swinging both around, whipping them from many different angles, keeping her on the defense, and then, giving her a false opening through which to attack and thereby meet her doom. At least, temporarily.
Maybe...maybe he'd just throw her through a wall or something. "Last chance to retreat, before I start having more fun with you. Then you'll be crying for me to stop, but I'll just keep tearing. And ripping. And shredding. Until you. Can't. Think. Straight!" Ava giggled after he enunciated each of his punctuated sentences with a strike. "Or possibly until you lose your wits, or what little you have left."

Rising Anger "You continue to underestimate me, you wretched cur." Furiae struggled with her frustration. She couldn't get angry. Angry people made mistakes and died because of them. But as she blocked the creature's blows, not able to get an attack in, it got dangerously close to coming to the surface. Damn it, that chest wound should have hurt. If he was human, the wound would have been fatal and she would have been victorious. But he didn't seem to be any more hurt.
First things first. She had to move from this position. The constant attacks made it impossible to fight back. She waited for a downward slash from him, then blocked it with the handle and took the second-long opening to move to the side.
There had to be some way to hurt this thing.

No Mercy Kadaj continued to grin; it seemed another guy was going to join the fight after all. The boy was going to quickly become aware of what a mistake that was. He seemed to be fighting with a broken sword, which Kadaj would say wasn't too bright of an idea. He might have some extra tricks up his sleeve if that was his weapon; in that case, the silver-haired remnant wouldn't be too terribly surprised, but delighted. It would make the fight more interesting, though Kadaj was always satisfied with just swords alone.
"You're gonna love it," he told this boy, his tone of voice malicious as he got the Souba into an offensive position. He could start this fight, he supposed. He held his sword about half a foot from his own face, turning so he was slightly facing the opposite direction. This movement started out slow, but the sword movement to go against this new opponent was fast and precise, the two blades of the Souba aiming directly for the boy's head. Kadaj wasn't going to play nicely just because this boy entered their little "party" so meekly; he never played nice, period.
Kadaj wasn't even paying attention to how his new little pet was fairing against the icy maiden, not knowing that Ava had been hit or anything of the sort. He was going to focus on this boy standing right in front of him with a broken sword and he was going to tear him to pieces. Admittedly, he always gave younger fighters more of a chance than older ones when it came to fighting or dealing with him, but this one was a little too old to be treated with any sort of mercy.

Play time is over. Ava's face lost its grin. "Well, I think it is about time I stopped playing." The grin grew back, even more sinister than before. The Heartless began moving faster, slightly at first, but faster and faster every second. "I think it is about time for me to end this fight for now." Soon, he was moving so fast, the woman couldn't keep up. She was collecting many nicks and scratches.
"Well, nice to have you drop by, but there really is someplace else you should be crashing a party at, now." Ava grinned at his own work, the maniac finding great amusement out of his puns. He slammed her scythe with both swords, knocking it high. As he did, he kicked her with all of his force, and sent her flying into the wall on the other side of the room.
"Now, you get to choose what happens now. Do you admit defeat for now, go train, and one day beat the bad guy?" Ava pointed to himself as he said that, grinning even wider, if that was possible. He spun his swords in circles faster than humanly possible. "Or do you come here and die on my swords today, knowing that it would be futile here and now to try to destroy me. I am too fast for you. Get stronger, and fight me later."
Ava dropped his swords and they vanished into darkness before they hit the ground. "I'm bored of this anyways. Let's go do something fun, Kadaj~!" He turned his back on Furiae, and began walking over towards the other man, a wide grin on his face and a spring in his step, as if they were about to go out for ice cream or something.
