So tell me a little bit about yourself.

Physical Aspects: Hyou likes to get straight to the point and doesn’t like to stick out much and his style reflects that completely. Hyou is about 5 foot 5 which he considers to be just right not too tall not too short. Hyou is a natural fighter and loves to fight so his body is a mirror image of that passion. His clothes match his darkness. He tends to wear black skater cargo pants with blue thread and a black under armor long sleeve top. His left eye is blue and his right eye is jet black a result of the awakening of his powers. Doing anything with his hair requires too much effort so it stays cut short best way to save time plus he has no one to impress anyway. His two distinguishing features are the streak of blue hair on the left side of his head, and the glow of his pulse aura which you couldn’t miss if you tried.



Persona:

• Façade: Hyou's first impression is always that of an angry or slightly disturbed shy person. He may seem like he has everything under control, even his emotions but that’s the mask he puts on so people leave him alone. He hates confrontations (Besides Fighting) and any other human interaction actually. He tends to block people out and his trust is something that takes time to acquire. His power, pulse aura, can also be seen as a cage or barrier to keep people from getting close to him. He views it as protection for himself, after being hurt in the past by those that he trusted, he locked away his heart and feelings. He hates the idea of human interaction completely why take risk, why take the chance of letting someone inside the barrier where they have the power to hurt way more than any fight can. His amount of dislike is cover up though for how much he cares deep down, when he finds a trustworthy friend they are friends for life bottom line. He tends to judge people though very harshly, when you’re right you’re right and when you’re wrong you’re wrong. In his mind murderers should be murdered, rapist should be raped, torturers should be tortured. But that is where his darkness lies he would destroy the world if it saved it, at least all the stupid people in it. The darkness feeds off the light and the light adsorbs the darkness that’s the turmoil that lives inside him.
  
  
• Inner Mind: Hyou is truly a child that never got to be a child. His emotions pull more weight than he lets on, his sadness, loneliness, anger, depression all affect the type of person he is and is becoming. As an orphan child he had to fight for himself he had no friends no family no one and many of the other kids thought he was weird and creepy never giving him a chance. He learned that relationships are double edged swords they are a weakness but they also can give great strength when there’s someone to protect. He tried to have friends and to have companions but one after another they betrayed him. So now he travels alone trying to find his path using anger and rage as a means for strength and protection. He needs someone but there’s no one there. Hyou is very stubborn and wont except help unless you practical force him into a situation where he can’t do it on his own. He hates depending on people but loves being depended on. He would give his life for a friend and use his strength to pierce the heavens itself.

Hyou’s power is something he calls his Pulse Aura, basically it’s his spiritual powers emitting from his body. It reacts to his adrenaline and like the name suggests his pulse n heart rate. To someone looking at him from the outside, it’s like a midnight blue mist surrounding his body.

[Ragnarok]
Hyou condenses his aura into his blood hardening his blood and skin. This defense protects from slashes and hard impacts such as falling or being slammed into something. This defense can completely block weak attacks and half the damage of moderate attacks. During the 15 seconds of hardening he can not launch any offensive attacks and is quite vulnerable.

Speed: It takes about 15 seconds to completely condense and lasts for 1 post.

Elemental Weakness: Arsonphobia, the fear of fire. Its lack of control and destructiveness reminds him of his inner soul and of the way he lost his family.
Other Weaknesses: His emotions affect His powers, especially if something is bothering him or if something bad happens.

What’s your story?

Hyou was born in Radiant Garden into a middle class family they didn’t have it all but they weren’t really struggling either. As a child Hyou really wasn’t different than any of the other children his age he was pretty much a normal kid. He was an only child so his parents gave most of their time, when not at work, to him. Life was going fine; until one night at the age of four, he woke up to smoke in his throat and screams in the air. He had no clue about what was going on or where his family was in the chaos, he stumbled into the hallway to find his parents’ room engulfed in flames. He thought about getting closer but fear had paralyzed his legs, the only thing he could do was scream for his mother and father. All he can remember of the rest of that night were the flames reaching out to him in hallway and the sound of footsteps approaching him. He woke up outside his house on the street covered in soot and drenched from the rain. Basically at the end of that night his parents were dead, he was alone and he was homeless.

Wandering the streets of the town around him with no one in sight (somehow) he ventures into a building. That building turned out to be an orphanage for kids just like him, kids with no place to go and no one to depend on. What happened the follow year surprised him completely, his powers awoke and the color of his left eye changed to a deep dark blue matching the color of the aura that pulsed from his body. He was already someone who didn’t talk to the others much because the tragic death of his parents had silenced him but the constant glow surrounding him didn’t make it any better. So life went on year after year, SSDD, but one person caught his attention many times, a young girl by the name of Emi. She seemed lost and alone deep down but he could easily tell that her anger and rage were a cover up. She was about four years younger than him so he pretty much left her alone and treated her no different than the other orphans, he was curious to know her story but the world wasn’t going to end if he didn’t know so no big deal. She peaked his interest that was it, but at eleven years old radiant garden fell to the darkness and he had to fend for himself. He hitched a ride on an escaping gummi ship, determined to find a life suited for him even though he had no clue of his destination.

Hyou ended up in Halloween Town a place that matched his darken mood completely he found the monsters and ghouls there interesting and found himself in fights time and time again. Fighting was his outlet, the way he could let go of his anger and hatred as well as learn more about his unique powers. As the years past he became known around the area for his strength and fighting abilities becoming sort of a protector for his friends and a destroyer for those that considered him an enemy. He had obtained a steady job and his own place to live, it wasn’t perfect but it was better than nothing which was what he had had before. The fights continued on and the darkness in his heart grew, his idea of justice had crossed the line between darkness and light more than once. Common sense though was the only voice that kept him sane and from losing his heart altogether. The fact that he was a quiet person and knew how to get out of sticky situations kept him out of serious trouble, he had a knack for using his logic to talk himself out of problems and when that didn’t work he resorted to his fists.

By the age of eighteen he had somehow completed high school which because of all the broken relationships he had left him shattered and in worse condition than when he got there. He had also mastered his power, which he called “Pulse Aura”, and had built his own gummi ship thanks to all the fighting and his growing collection of blocks and items. He named his ship “Ragnarok” getting the idea from a fantasy story he had heard from when he was younger. Hyou wasn’t the type of person to stay still for too long and loved to move forward no matter what, always heading toward another goal or challenge. Running from his problems and emotions he busied himself with other tasks and the thought of going back home to figure out the death of his parents.

A year later he set out and ended up in Twilight Town, a place that seemed almost no different than his old home. Here he rested, found work, and searched for a way to increase his skills and powers. This search tempted the darkness in his heart though, he knew he was tiptoeing on the line that separated the two but he was willing to take that chance. Hyou then did what he tends to do a lot and that is getting caught up and his issues and surroundings and wasting time. In his travels through Twilight Town he did happen to see a teenager around the age of fourteen or fifteen who looked a lot like the little angry girl from the orphanage he grew up at, but didn’t see her again after that so didn’t give it a second thought. Thanks to his dependability he kept his job and continued to cover up his problems with the mundane routine of going to work, going home, and then doing it all over the next day. Fighting was the only thing that made life interesting for him; he thought that if he grew strong enough then no one could hurt him physically or emotionally. Any free time he had he filled with music, reading, and writing poetry another outlet he found useful at times when he couldn’t punch someone’s face in.

Years past and Hyou is now twenty two and heading to the place where it all started Radiant Garden now known as Hallow Bastion. His first stop is to check and see if the burnt rubble of his old house is still standing and his second stop is the orphanage he grew up at. He partly hopes to find something on this journey, something that points him in the right direction or something that he can use to busy his life to keep away the demons lurking in the back of his mind.

A very interesting profile to read. I enjoyed reading it and he sounds like an interesting character. The only issues that I have with the profile are the abilities. Your first one has an instantaneous speed, which I might allow if the ability were at a higher strength. Seeing as this is only weak, I think it should be a bit lower. I also have a question on your third ability; with his blood hardening to up his defense, would he able to do any offense?

Also, and this is just me nitpicking, but since this is the Kingdom Hearts universe I'm not sure if "Japanese" rock music would exist... you don't have to change it, if you don't want, but it just seems kind of out of place. o-o
