So tell me a little bit about yourself.
Physical Aspects: One of the more intimidating members of the Organization in terms of physical appearance, Xaldin's physique falls short compared to only that of Lexaeus. The well-built form of Xaldin hides a sinister mind, and though many might think him more of a brute because of his appearance he is quite the opposite. Over his muscled body Xaldin wears the Organization's trademark cloak, which fits snugly on him. Though he commonly wears the hood over his head to mask his features to beings who do not know him, Xaldin's appearance is unique enough to match the other twelve Nobodies. Long hair that has been woven into dread locks, and with several of these dreads Xaldin ties his hair into something of a pony tail. A few other dreads hang free in front of his face, and when Xaldin is in the midst of battle his hair is constantly moving from the wind that he controls. His facial hair is one of his more unique features is his side burns, which curve so that they go under his eyes and end parallel to them. Xaldin's eyes are a dark blue, and if it were not for the nothingness that the Whirlwind Lancer was made of they would show his wicked motives.
Persona:
- Façade: As expected from a being who possess no heart, and thus no emotion, Xaldin’s disposition is more often than not that of apathy and indifference. This attitude is not of great importance to the Whirlwind Lancer, however, and more often than not he suffers from a show of emotion that he is not capable of feeling. He is not extreme in these shows, as it is pointless to completely emulate emotion, but he does humor himself with facial expressions and(gasp) a change in tone when speaking.
Xaldin’s demeanor is that of pride; an emotion that he portrays well even when lacking a heart. The Whirlwind Lancer is not afraid to remind a fellow Organization member of his higher rank, of which only two Nobodies exceed him, nor is he cautious when it comes to shows of power. Few of the Organization hold Xaldin’s respect, the rest fall short of his expectations. Those who are respected are barely treated as equals; while Xemnas is the only being who Xaldin acknowledges as a superior.
Those Nobodies that are not of worth to the Whirlwind Lancer are treated as lessors; ignored when it can be afforded and acknowledged only when it is expected of him by the Superior. When addressing these lessors, Xaldin shows little patience, and more often than not he will engage in the use of sarcasm, even going so far as to outright demean the subject of his attentionn. - Inner Mind: To many Xaldin seems a simple being to understand. He is well known enough in the Organization that his fellow Nobodies do not look upon him as a brute even when his appearance suggests otherwise. Under his intimidating dreadlocks lies an intellect that is nothing less than dangerous. While his talent may not lie in the long term planning that is possessed by some of his fellow Nobodies, he is more than capable of rivaling the brightest minds of the Organization when it comes to matters of manipulation.
Though his own mind is without a doubt twisted, a fact well hidden, Xaldin holds a great understanding when it comes to the heart, or at least the more negative aspects of it. His ability to plant seeds of doubt is uncanny, matched only by his power to raise those seeds into infernos of hatred and rage. This could not be accomplished without a great deal of thought and time, and it is through this that Xaldin portrays a great patience.
The Whirlwind Lancer’s excellence in manipulating the heart is not driven only by fascination, but by the persona that he possessed before losing his own ability to feel. While Xaldin is no longer capable of feeling satisfaction, that does not prevent him from causing as much suffering and ruin as he can. There is no being, empty or not, better suited to twist a man into a thing of hate and doubt then Xaldin, if only because the Nobody knows that he will enjoy the memories with a great fondness, once he possess a heart, of course.

Items:
Inventory:
Stand up and fight.
Weapon(s): Lindworm
ABILITIES SECTION:
Wind Control
Xaldin’s disposition as a Nobody grants him abilities unique to him; one of them being his control over the element of wind. While Xaldin is able to channel this power into more offensive means, it also finds a common use as a method of transportation and defense. Using his control over the winds, Xaldin is able to lift himself off the ground and levitate, moving freely as he wishes. His control is also what allows him to wield the otherwise useless six deadly lances at his call. The final use is that he is able to cover himself is a barrier of air that softens the blows struck against him, acting as a reliable defense.
Range: Personal effect.
Speed: Levitation allows Xaldin to travel much more quickly.
Cooldown: N/A.
Uses: Passive.
Strength: Weak barrier effect.
Jump
Perhaps the most iconic attack in Xaldin’s moveset, jump is an ability much more powerful than its simple name lets on. With a single leap the Whirlwind Lancer can rocket into the air, so quickly that tracking his movements would be nearly impossible, only to come crashing down in a storm of wind and lances. The move causes a shockwave post execution.
Range: Xaldin is able to hit anywhere in a thirty foot radius after jumping, and the shockwave covers a ten foot distance.
Speed: The move is executed with incredible speed; allowing Xaldin to land only moments after leaping into the air.
Cooldown: Three.
Uses: Three.
Strength: Weak.
Lindworm’s Wrath
The peak of Xaldin’s power; an attack that fierce in power and deadly in execution. The Whirlwind Lancer combines his six weapons, forming them into a shape that resembles that of a dragon, taking his place at the top of this monstrous machination. The combined lances are animated through his abilites to move as if a beast of legend, taking flight over the battlefield and circling the enemies of Xaldin. The combined lances launch powerful sphere’s of wind from its ‘mouth’, which would knock back anything that makes contact with it from the force of the attack.
Range: The spheres shot from the machination’s mouth travel thirty feet.
Speed: Very fast.
Cooldown: Five.
Uses: Three.
Strength: Weak.
Everybody’s got a weakness or two; what are yours?
Elemental Weakness: Light.

What’s your story?
One of six apprentices that served under Ansem the Wise, Xaldin had yet to gain his new name, and thus he was still known as Dilan. He worked loyally for Ansem like the other apprentices until Xehanort directed them to continuing research that Ansem was too weak to do himself. The experiments conducted were more often than not extremely cruel, and though a normal person would surely be disgusted by the acts, Dilan actually seemed to enjoy them. The suffering of others was a pleasure that could be matched by nothing else, and Dilan was most eager to inflict more pain and misery on the innocents who were their subjects. Dilan joined the other five apprentices in experimenting with their own hearts, causing them to be lost to the darkness. While Dilan's heart was gone a shell of himself remained, taking on the name Xaldin.
The former apprentices created an organization, each of them taking on numbers in their new order. Soon six turned into thirteen, Xaldin holding the third number in the group. Most of the missions that Xaldin undertook were solo, though he was paired with Roxas on a few of them. It was these missions with Roxas where Xaldin discovered the Beast, creating a plan to take the Beast's heart so that he would become a powerful Heartless and Nobody that could be used to the Organization's advantage. He did not set the plan into motion with Roxas though, finding the boy to be too naive and good-willed to even consider bringing him on his plans. Instead he studied the Beast as much as possible, learning his secrets and weakness's.
Eventually Xaldin became something of a permanent resident at Beast's Castle, spending all of his time observing Beast before taking advantage of the monsters doubt and weakness. He began to convince Beast that Belle only wanted to take his rose and then kill him, that she had been lying to Beast about everything she claimed to be true. The Beast resisted at first, but as time went on it became clear that Xaldin had done well in his manipulations, that Beast's faith was beginning to severely wane. Xaldin took his time with the process, not wanting to rush and ruin his chances of turning Beast into creatures that the Organization could use.
Before his job was finished Sora appeared at Beast's Castle, meddling with the plans that Xaldin had been implementing for quite some time now. Sora convinced the Beast that Xaldin was the liar, effectively ruining his chance to turn Beast by using the monsters anger and doubt. Xaldin was not discouraged, leaving a Heartless for Sora and his friends to handle while he disappeared. Though Sora could not find him, Xaldin remained in Beast's Castle, waiting for the next opportunity to strike. That opportunity came soon enough, and Xaldin took Beast's cherished rose while he and Belle held a party. The Beast became enraged at the loss of his rose, blaming Belle for it and banishing her from the castle.
Xaldin then traps Belle, taking her and the rose to the courtyard were Sora and the Beast confronted him. Xaldin tells Beast that he has a simple choice; Belle or the rose. Before the Beast is able to decide, Belle elbows Xaldin and escapes with the rose, meaning that Xaldin's plans had been foiled once again. Instead of retreating like he had the last time, Xaldin chose to remain and face Sora and his friends, unleashing his control over wind on them and putting them through a most difficult battle. In the end Sora's Keyblade felled Xaldin, and he faded away into nothingness.
It all comes down to this: make your choice.
You are presented with three weapons: a sword, a staff, and a shield. The sword represents the power of the warrior; invincible courage comes with this weapon as well as horrible destruction. The staff represents the power of the mystic; inner strength comes with this weapon as well as wonder and ruin. The shield represents the power of the guardian; kindness to aid friends comes with this weapon as well as a shield that will repel all.
Which one will you choose?
