Let’s get the basics down first.
Name: Alan Jericho Nicknames: None Age: 40 Gender: Male Race: Human Homeworld: Twilight Town Alliance: Darkness
You’re just a puppet aren’t you? Played By: Angel Age: 16 Gender: Female Contact: PM Audition Link: Other: Theme Song: Nine Inch Nails- The Downward Spiral (The Bottom)
Battle Song: Trent Reznor- Driver Down
Also, WOO FRAGILE ALLIANCE CROSSOVER
So tell me a little bit about yourself.
Physical Aspects:
Alan Jericho is very tall (6'4") and looks for all the world like a younger high school teacher. From his messy brown hair to his rumpled dress shirt to his bright green eyes shining behind his rimless glasses, he looks both intelligent and kindly. He is not imposing physically, possessing a thin, long face and the lean figure of track runners instead of the bulky figure of bodybuilders. This combined with his appealing smile and the slight stubble on his face makes him seem both unkempt and completely harmless.
Of course, this is blatantly untrue.
However, after gaining connections with the darkness his appearance has changed- completely intentional on his part. While he can appear in his normal state at any time, he prefers to walk around in a disguise reminiscient of a sentient Heartless. His hair darkens to dark brown bordering on black, and his irises become gold. A chain with the Heartless symbol hangs down from both his suit and Corruption, and a black patch of skin covers part of his face and neck. The very ends of where his spider legs would be float around him, and he can control them as if the rest of the leg was there- however, they are insubstantial and can not be used in battle.
He wears this guise in order to fool Keybladers into attacking him, as well as hide his other abilities.
Picture of Jericho
Persona: - Façade: On the outside, Jericho is a rather kind person. Sympathetic and affable, he is easy to like but hard to know, as he seems to hold some deep secrets that no amount of questioning can ever reveal. His intelligence is quite apparent, and he is always able to add something valuable to any conversation. (Conversation is an art that he as mastered- there have been few so absolutely persuasive) He is incredibly courteous to everyone, and it is a mystery of how he ever got involved in criminal activity or how he became so successful in it. As far as anyone can see, his only flaw is that he has an issue with fidelity (his record is being with seven women at once, managing to keep them unaware about each other for two months).
He has a strange fear of thunderstorms, and will stay inside while they occur. Other than that, he doesn't seem to be afraid of anything else, and takes the worst of horrors with a slightly confused smile and a sarcastic comment.
Anyone who has seen any other side of him has not lived to talk about it.
- Inner Mind: Beneath his facade, Jericho is a complete monster. He is driven by the need to manipulate and control, and derives the greatest joy from twisting people to his own ends, maybe even turning them to the darkness or making them seek death from the strength of his words alone. A sociopath, he ties himself to nobody and never looks out for anyone other than himself. He has completely integrated himself into his false identity, and on the rare occasions that he thinks of the person he used to be he considers him a different person, and has no feelings towards what that man considered important.

Stand up and fight.
Weapon(s): Arachnid's Symphony
Jericho's Keyblade. It accurately reflects his twisted interior, with a strang metal web across the handle, strange blood-like markings on the blade, and piercing edges that resemble the limbs of a living thing.
It actually has two handles, which can be switched between at a whim.
Blinding Haze A dark mist rises up around the area, covering all that come into contact with it. Inside this mist, all sounds are distorted to the point where conversation becomes impossible. It also causes strange visual hallucinations, making it seem like strange monsters are running through it even when there are none.
Range: Stretches 5 yards from where Jericho was standing when he activated it. It does not move with him. Speed: Lasts for 3 posts. Cooldown: 4 Uses: 2 Strength: Weak
Amplification Jericho chooses up to 6 people at will to amplify the emotions of. Anyone who is sad will become very depressed, anyone who is angry will fly into a horrible rage, and anyone who is happy will become positively ecstatic. He can also change the degree to which the emotion is amplified, but he can not introduce a new emotion. It has no effect on Nobodies.
Range: 4 yards from Jericho. Speed: N/A Cooldown: 2 posts Uses: 5 uses Strength: Strong
Obscuration A partial illusion in which Jericho goes completely unnoticed. He doesn't disappear, he just is ignored. Only the most perceptive can spot him and break the illusion, although if he talks or interacts with anyone the illusion is broken. The longest he's ever gone with it is 30 minutes, although he's almost always spotted before then.
Range: N/A Speed: N/A Cooldown: 5 posts Uses: 2 uses Strength: Weak
Observation By carefully watching people that are closeby, Jericho can distinguish the emotions of said person even if they are attempting to hide them. While he can distinguish the basic emotions, he can not read the thoughts or reasons behind said emotions.
Range: Anyone within 8 feet. Speed: It takes him 5 seconds to read the person in question. Cooldown: N/A Uses: Passive Strength: Weak
Empathy For 6 posts (or until he cancels the ability), Jericho connects the mood of up to 4 people to his own, making them feel every emotion that he does. The effects wear off almost immediately after the ability's duration ends.
In addition, Jericho can connect the emotions of one person to another, although he can only connect to three other people using this.
It can also be used on Nobodies, temporarily tricking the mind to create the mental illusion of possessing a heart. It can be used in conjunction with Amplification or any other emotion-affecting ability.
Range: 30 feet Speed: Instantaneous Cooldown: 5 posts Uses: 3 Strength: Strong
Binding Ties With this ability, Jericho is able to find out who a person has their closest connection to and what their relationship is with that person. While he can deduce what the person looks like and may be able to pick out a few details (their strength or their name) he can not actually find out what this person is like, nor any specific thing that has happened to said person.
Range: They have to be within 7 feet of him. Speed: N/A Cooldown: N/A Uses: Passive Strength: Weak
The Devil's Cure Jericho can transfer part of his newfound darkness into a person, healing them instantly at the cost of adding darkness to their heart- the amount is directly proportional to the severity of their injuries. However, he can not use this on himself, and the injured person has to consent to this while understanding the consequences, a.k.a the introduction of darkness.
Range: N/A Speed: Instantaneous Cooldown: 1 post Uses: 2 Strength: Moderate
Everybody’s got a weakness or two; what are yours?
Elemental Weakness: Light, Thunder Other Weaknesses: He loses focus whenever someone mentions his old life. Also, he is something of a compulsive gambler.
What’s your story?
While Jericho is physically and mentally a 40 year-old, his identity is only 15 years old. He begun life as a man named Vincent Carter, who was, in fact, a teacher. Marrying at the age of 21, he had a daughter and a son by his wife, Marie. They lived comfortably on his modest teacher's salary, but Carter decided that there was a way to increase his income and make his family a little happier. To accomplish this, he begun gambling.
This spiraled down quite quickly. After a few wins, Carter was completely unable to stop, and quickly lost his job, his house, and his family- twice. Once when his wife divorced him and took the kids, the second when some shady folks kidnapped them when Carter failed to pay a very big loan he had taken. Carter still cared about them, and frantically paid the ransom, becoming a thief and a murderer to do it. Suicidally depressed because of his actions and on the run from the law, he then demanded that his family should be let go since he paid the money.
He got them back in pieces scattered around his house, on a stormy day.
The sound of Carter losing his mind was almost audible, akin to a dry twig being snapped violently. Carter died on that day. His mind twisted and warped beyond all recognition, he hunted down the people who killed them, took on the name of their leader, and began a new, criminal life as Jericho. Twilight Town had always been a nice, idyllic sort of place. Jericho decided that he was going to plunge the whole town into hell with him, but first he needed practice. Smuggling rings that stored their property on worlds like Deep Jungle, bands of killers from Traverse Town and Radiant Garden, coups on all sorts of worlds...he worked for a long time in many different places, picking up skills and losing a bit of his humanity each time. He begun to see everybody as worthless idiots on the fast path to self-destruction, and found out how to speed them along a little bit- mostly through forcing mages and the like to teach him things at the point of a sword.
Now that he's had enough practice, he's planning to come back to Twilight Town, bringing every thug and hitman he knows with him.
It all comes down to this: make your choice.
You are presented with three weapons: a sword, a staff, and a shield. The sword represents the power of the warrior; invincible courage comes with this weapon as well as horrible destruction. The staff represents the power of the mystic; inner strength comes with this weapon as well as wonder and ruin. The shield represents the power of the guardian; kindness to aid friends comes with this weapon as well as a shield that will repel all.
Which one will you choose?
Chosen Weapon: Jericho calmly picks up the Sword.
Guard Break The ability to slash through any defensive abilities of Weak strength, Guard Break symbolizes the destructive power of the Sword at its peak.
Range: Melee Speed: Normal swing speed Cooldown: 3 posts Uses: 2 Strength: Weak

Not a very nice sounding character. Sure wouldn't want to get involved with him!
Anyway, I think everything is in order here... The first ability seems a little unusual to me, but I don't really have a problem with it.
Accepted, Locked, and Moved.
