Basically, I met the admin while at WWC, and figured he was a pretty swell guy. Whether or not Kingdom Hearts would be my thing to roleplay is up for debate.

I have to admit that I'm the type who waits mainly just pays attention to the cutscenes in Kingdom Hearts just so he can hear Ansem yell "DARKNESS!!!" for the 9,001st in all his hammy splendor, along with the ever increasing subtextual catering to yaoi girls, or fan boy in this case. Basically, Mac would probably just going to be my playing with what all the crazy fangirls like, drawing from experience that happy, smiley, genki SUPER UKES are often jerks in rl.

If that doesn't seem like a good idea, just give me some suggestions. What hasn't been done here yet?

Despite how light hearted I guess I seem now, I'll admit that I'm a a li'l' too stiff; roleplaying is somewhat serious business for me. Maybe that's because I've only really roleplayed on places like Roleplay Gateway and Roleplay Adventures. And I really, really, really like it when my partners have a similar writing style to my own- I'll admit I've had a hard time finding anyone who can post over a para recently, so I might be getting more lenient.

I would have done this all much, much sooner, but I got stuck on trying to come up with powers. Because when I do, I try to make things really, really restricted. And surprisingly, lots of admins hate weak characters just as much as they do GODS OF PWNGE. Of course, I'm still having trouble trying to come up with abilities, particularly since I wanted to try and make my dude a Geomancer. The system here is uber confusing, so I'd love some help, suggestions, guidelines, etc.

P.S I guess it might be worth mention that I have a social skills learning disability called Asperger's Syndrome. Probally won't show much, but just tell me when I seem too single minded, and please be patient if I have a hard time understanding what you are trying to say.

Also, most people here will give you a LOT more than a paragraph. My personal minimum is 200 words, and I know some people have more than that. :3

Welcome to the fold! And like Cait said, I don't you'll have any problems here. Most of us go for a couple hundred words or so per post. Good luck with coming up with your character, too--if you need any help, just ask one of us admins.

Hello, there. It's always nice to see another serious roleplayer. Don't worry about people posting less than a paragraph here, either. Depending on the moment and the situation, I can usually go for somewhere between 250 and 800 words a post. (I have yet to break 1000 in an actual post, but I've had a canon audition that's gone over.) Of course, that's here. I'm pretty sure on boards I've RPed on in the past, I've had several posts go over 1000 words.

Nice to meet you, and I look forward to roleplaying with you. We like to have fun while being serious here, so don't worry too much.

Oh, also, I have a friend with Asperger's, so I'm familiar with it. We're all friendly here (I think), so don't be afraid to ask for clarification on things.

Welcome to the site Dandy, name's Angelus. You may or may not have heard of me, and if you have, it was in hushed whispers...

I am the thing that hunts in the night, that makes kids scream in terror, that gives old people heart attacks! I am a villain! In fact, I'm the site's residential villain. It's sorta my thing. But in all seriousness though, I've been here since not too long after the site was made, and I can tell ya, the people here are good people, and fun to talk with. If you want a little more backstory into me, I suppose I can tell you that I'm the admin of Forgotten Souls, another kh rp site. The admins of this site were actually staff members on that site, but I shut it down a while back because I had no muse, and real life was getting in the way. I recently reopened it, so I'm doing my best to get new members. This site is a sister site with that site (and as such I'm taking the opportunity to ask you for the links to any rp sites you are on that have a decent amount of members, so that we can advertise and affiliate away).

Heya Dandy! This is Darkest, also known as Jay, one of the two admins of Shades of Grey, the one who WAS an admin on Forgotten Souls until Asa shut it down, and I moved everyone here. Or most of them, at least. We gained a significant member following of our own, and ended up having completely different systems from Asa in the end.

Well, not completely different, but you get the point. And I have many friends with Asperger's, so...yes, I am quite used to it, to varying degrees. We're a great family here, and we kill those who displease us go to great lengths to get along with others.

But yeah, so my name is Matt, as you can see. I am one of the Character Moderators here (SENIOR Character Moderator, I might add xD), and have been a member since the site was first founded. Hmm... I suppose I was the first member. Or was Zidane...? IRRELEVANT!

Anyway, it's nice to meet you Dandy. I hope you'll find this to be a nice place to RP... And as everyone has said, I wouldn't worry too much about the post count thing. We're all pretty good about that here.
