Ability Creation (?) for Axel

I'm thinking this is going to fall into the category of ability creation, but if not, let me know. xD

Okay, so, since it has come to my attention that I can change an ability that I already have into another ability without paying any additional munny, I've been thinking about giving Axel some sort of moderate passive ability in place of Scorching Indignation (since I sort of plan on incorporating that concept into the strong version of Wreath of Flames). I think he has enough purely offensive, fire-based abilities, so I'm looking for a little more balance.

At first, I wasn't sure if I wanted him to have a defensive passive or an offensive passive, but after some thought, I've decided that Axel is all about hitting hard and fast, so the harder and faster he can hit, the better. But outside of having a passive ability that increases damage by a certain amount or that increases speed by a certain amount, I'm coming up blank. And while those would be good things to have in a passive ability, they alone are just so boring. So, I figured maybe you'd have some creative ideas about how to spice things up a little and make the ability more his own.

You don't necessarily have to write the ability for me, which is why I'm unsure whether or not this falls into ability creation. Suggestions would be much appreciated, though.

Well, like I said on the cbox, only got one real idea for this, but I think it's pretty damn amazing.

It's actually pretty simple as well... actually, it's similar to Wreath of Flames. Two different boosts you requested, and this can work for both depending on how you write up the ability.

Simply put, using fire to cause explosions related to the chakrams. For strength, this would be a small explosion after hitting something, and for speed, while it's a little weirder to think of, think smaller versions of 'rocket jets' for making him attack faster.
