The shield only protects her front, leaving the back open for attack, but it covers her from head to toe and is convex. It makes her virutally invinicible to head on attacks, magical and physical all the way up to the strong level. It also negates the affects of any status affect abiities, up to strong level. The position of this shield makes it hard to attack and if she disables it before the time is up, that counts as a use.
