Ring, Ring, Ring~~
Uh. Hi. You've reached Cloud, er, I guess leave a message.
This was what the brunette woman heard through the tiny-cellphone that she had held up to her ear. Removing the cellphone from her ear she pressed the end button, she wouldn't leave a message because she knew that Cloud would never get it. He rarely answered his phone or had it turned off. He probably wouldn't listen to any voice messages he had. She lightly shook her head, her long brown hair swaying back and forth as she did. She was naive to think that Cloud would answer (but it was good to hear his voice). She hadn't seen him in awhile and had actually been searching for him. But, it seemed that every chance she got to catch up with him he would disappear like he always did. The last time she had encountered him was when he was fighting a silver-haired man where she gave Cloud the courage and 'light' to fight the man. But since then, she hasn't seen him. Though, she doesn't seem to be searching as much she still hopes that she may find Cloud once again.
She had been staying at a inn in Radian Garden while the rebuilding of a bar known as 7th Heaven was underway. Setting her phone on a nearby table she stood up and walked towards the door, as she opened it she glanced at the cellphone sitting on the table. Closing the door she walked downstairs, heading to check on the reconstruction of the bar. Her long hair bounced as she walked down the cobble street town, the sun hanging high in the sky. The light made her hair shine and almost appear black. Red eyes moved up to look up at the bright blue sky, welcoming the day, a smile creased across her lips. Even though she felt alone because Cloud was not here, she knew that she would eventually find him or that he may return home. She couldn't keep him from wandering, Tifa just wished that he would come home and visit here and there. She knew that he had things he needed to do, to overcome, sometimes she just wished that he would include her in such things.
Tifa stopped in her tracks as she heard hammering and sawing. Were her ears deceiving her? Eyes flickered towards what was in front of her. She looked up to find people working on the rebuilding of the bar. People, residents of Radiant Garden, hammering away on wood and sawing. Children were running around gathering things for their parents. She looked awestruck for a moment, her mouth opened some. Smiling she hummed a little, hmph. She had to hire people in Radiant Garden to help her build the little bar, some hadn't thought it a good idea to build a bar in such a peaceful place, but as some learned of the young woman's intentions then some were more willing to help her.
"Tifa! Tifa!" she heard the young voice of girl. Marlene. Her eyes trailed to where the voice was coming from and she found the young girl carrying a tray of empty cups.
"Hey there, Marlene," she said addressing the young girl. "Would you mind filling me in on what's going on here?" she asked, bending down some to the girl's level.
"Isn't it obvious? Everyone, well mostly everyone, is helping build 7th Heaven!" the young girl announced. Tifa smiled and stood up straight, looking at the space where 7th Heaven was being build. Admiring it. Her eye caught the glare from the sun but it made it seem even more radiant, even in its progress. She could already envision the people that the bar would attract. That her drinks would be the best around. New flavors each week. Oh, and also, her bar isn't a normal bar that you think of, but a bar with smoothies and other fruitful drinks. She could see the sign in bright, big letters that could be seen from across town. People would flock from all around. She smiled even more. Maybe, Cloud would get word of the bar.
She was great-full for everyone's help. As she stared at the work she saw someone wave to her. She looked down at the young girl, "Go get everyone some more drinks, Marlene, they deserve a cool drink for all their hard work, Don't cha think?" She asked, happily. With that she walked towards the man who had waved to her. She went over and talked to him, learning that he had asked people to help re-build the bar, so that they could help a neighbor and so that they could have something new to appreciate. She thanked everyone for their help. They had all come together to help her even though they were still in the process of rebuilding Radiant Garden as whole. There were much more important places to rebuild, such as homes, and yet they were helping her. This wasn't really her home but this was where Cloud had been and may return so she had decided to make a home here.
The rest of the day she helped the others and called it a day when the sun was low in the horizon. Standing in front of her place, she looked at it. It wouldn't be too far off that it would be completed. She placed her hands on her hips and slowly began to smile to herself. Confident and proud of what she had created here, with the help from new found friends. Deciding to take a walk around Radiant Garden she headed in the opposite direction of where the inn was (which she was staying at with help from a friend she had met). Hands placed in front of her she walked calmly through the streets of Radiant Garden. There was barely anyone out, mostly having gone home and probably having dinner at the moment. She admired the reconstruction of Radiant Garden as a whole. They had progressed so far since the destruction of their home.
Reaching the fountains, she heard the soft sound of the water. The fountain itself wasn't running but it still had water inside of it. She stood near the edge of the fountain and looking into the water at her reflection. Smiling briefly to herself, in her reflection she saw a shadowy form behind her. She quickly reacted and swung her leg in the air as she twirled around, striking her foe. She managed to knock the thing aside. She landed on the ground and stared at her enemy. It was a Heartless. She wondered what it was doing here. Perhaps, it was still a left over Heartless after that young boy had sealed the world. Narrowing her eyes she got ready for a fight. She hadn't been in a fight recently and perhaps this would get what little anger she had about not being able to find Cloud. Charging towards it she kicked it in the side, sending it slamming against a nearby wall. She then went in to punch it, after sending two punches it disappeared into a smoke of darkness. She had been too eager to fight and thought that it would have been much stronger. It had been still around even after Sora had sealed the door. She shrugged; though she still thought it weird.
Looking up at the sky she decided it was getting late and headed back to the inn. Laying in bed she stared up at the ceiling as moonlight entered through her open window. She wondered what Cloud was doing, if he had 'found' what ever he wanted to find and had accomplished it. Perhaps what he had wanted to find was himself. She wondered if he thought of her recently, or just thought of her as annoying, or some dead weight or something. She then heard a beeping from her phone and picked it up. Opening it she saw she had a missed call from Cloud. Through the dim light that her phone and the moon offered, a smile could be see forming across her lips.
Cloud had called.
