Let’s get the basics down first.
Name: Alanix Nicknames: The Druid Priestess Age: Appears to be about 27 Gender: Female Race: Nobody Homeworld: Merthyr (Mer-THEER) | The World That Never Was Alliance: Shadow
You’re just a puppet aren’t you? Played By: Aerith Age: 23 Gender: Female Contact: PM Audition Link: N/A Other:
So tell me a little bit about yourself.
Physical Aspects: Standing at 5'8”, Liana possesses a lithe frame, just barely on the full-figured side. Her dark brown hair falls in long, choppy layers all the way to the middle of her back, but she typically wears it up in a silver butterfly clip. However, despite the additional presence of several black bobby pins, pieces of her hair tend to fall out of the clip and hang on either side of her face. Her bangs are thick and sweep over her left eyebrow, both of her icy-blue eyes still visible. She has rather sharp facial features and an elegantly long neck.
Having just escaped from her decaying homeworld, she wears the traditional clothes associated with her former priestess station. The full skirt of her white dress falls to her ankles, though the white material splits at the waist to reveal a second layer of deep green, an underskirt and lining. The upper portion of her dress is cut moderately low and is plain white except for green laces that run up the middle of her torso. Her sleeves are long and fan out past her elbows, the deep green lining beneath the white shell easily visible. Around her neck is a band of thin, black leather with a silver star hanging from a short chain against her throat. Because she enjoys letting her feet breathe, she is barefooted.
Now that she has joined the Organization, she wears its uniform.

Persona: - Façade: As she is a newly-born Nobody, quite a bit of confusion at what she has become clouds her thinking, which inevitably shows in how she interacts with people. Having spent her entire life on Merthyr, with no knowledge that other worlds existed, everything is new to her, though she handles it with plenty of poise. She is a quick thinker and an eloquent conversationalist, able to navigate the verbal dance inherent in struggles for political power. However, she lacks manipulative tendencies. Or at least, she lacks the killer instinct to constantly employ any manipulative tendencies.
Most of the time, she is calm and collected, focused inward rather than on those around her. Since she is still reeling somewhat from abruptly losing her heart and her capacity to feel, the needs of other people fall by the wayside while she tries to make sense of what has happened to her. She might feel ashamed of her selfishness if she were able. But it is becoming increasingly important to her that she find a way to regain what the High Priestess indirectly took from her. Therefore, she will take whatever route that will accomplish that goal.
This does not mean, however, that she is anti-social and cannot work with other people. While other Nobodies may play at masquerades, Liana does not bother pretending around people she does not like. If she has a strong negative opinion about someone, that person will know it. She is straightforward when it comes to establishing relationships. There is no on-the-fence option for her. Either she can tolerate someone or she cannot.
Her feminine looks disguise a fierceness hovering just beneath her skin. She can be brutal in battle if the need arises, mercilessly destroying anyone who might get in the way. She has no qualms about killing to achieve her ends, but she will choose to go that route only if there is no other choice.
- Inner Mind: Liana has lost the naivety and trusting nature that once characterized her, but this loss has nothing to do with her transition into the Nobody non-existence and everything to do with the ravaging of her homeworld. She cannot help but be suspicious of any authority figure's motives, no matter how pure they seem to be. However, she is not above taking orders and will often do so out of habit.
She does not want the quest for her heart to be the sole defining factor of her every moment. But until she gets her heart back, she lacks the capacity to truly enjoy things she might enjoy otherwise. Companionship is very important to her, but living without emotions handicaps her in that department. Instead, she chooses to stay, not cold, but aloof, guarding her thoughts from wandering to things that will not help her get her heart back.

Stand up and fight.
Weapon(s): Hallowed Ruin – A large weapon, about four feet in length, with mirrored, silver glaive blades affixed to the end of a black shaft that ends in a spear point. The two blades appear wing-like, giving it an almost divine feel, as though it were gifted by gods. The butt of the shaft vaguely resembles the symbol of the Organization.
ABILITIES SECTION: During her time as a priestess on Merthyr, Liana's deep connection with both the natural and spiritual aspects of the world sharpened her familiarity with more than just one element. She is something of a mixed bag of tricks in battle, able to adapt to situations involving different elemental forces, as well as enhancing her status and the status of allies.
Shifting Soul When necessary, she can shift her current, innate element to another one. When hit with an ability matching her element, she takes reduced damage depending on the strength of the ability. Any Weak abilities are negated, Moderate abilities are reduced by 50 percent, and Strong abilities are reduced by 25 percent. She can shift between five elements: fire, ice, wind, lightning, and darkness. Her default element, however, is always fire.
Range: Self Speed: Instantaneous Cooldown: 3 posts Uses: 5 uses per thread Strength: Moderate
Harrowing Reflection When attacked, Liana can cause the air all around her to shimmer and become mirror-like in a way. As soon as opponents see their reflection in this enchanted air, whatever damage their attacks were going to do to Liana is reflected back onto them. This mirrored air can reflect abilities up to the current strength of this ability, and it is also capable of reflecting the damage of normal ranged attacks.
Range: Self Speed: Very fast; the air around her changes within a few seconds Cooldown: 4 posts Uses: 3 uses per thread Strength: Moderate
Whirlwind Haste Cloaking herself in the wind element gives Liana extra mobility and speed with which to both attack and dodge opponents' attacks. An added bonus is the wind around her can damage enemies if they get too close. Once activated, the ability remains in effect for the two posts after the post in which it was first used, and the cooldown period begins once the effect has dissipated.
Range: Self; an enemy must get within a foot of Liana for the winds to cause any damage Speed: x2 increase in speed and fluidity Cooldown: 2 posts Uses: 3 uses per thread Strength: Weak

What’s your story?
The world of Merthyr, while possessing a surface light, had in actuality a very dark underbelly.
A world populated by people who still appreciated and contemplated the mysteries of nature, Merthyr was shrouded in a shadowy enigma, a puzzle to those few outsiders who might dare to tread upon it. The reigning society was very close-knit, one based heavily around the family unit, even all the way up to the castle of the king. A religion revolving around a loose form of nature worship drove the day-to-day activities of the people. The focal point of this religion, while not involving any specific gods or goddesses, was the Palodinas, the great temple that put even the king's castle to shame.
The Palodinas housed the priestess order for this nature religion. Almost directly after birth, girls were hand-picked to be initiates in this prestigious order, and Liana was such a chosen. The temple became the girls' home, and the only parent they ever knew was the High Priestess, Muriel. At first, Liana found Muriel to be a kind and wise woman, selflessly guiding the people of Merthyr into the ways of truth. But she soon found out Muriel's true nature, conniving, manipulative, and power-hungry. It was she who truly ran the world, the royal family being a mere front.
However much Liana disliked Muriel, she had no reason to leave the safety and comfort of the temple. At least, not until Muriel's son, Owen, began taking an interest in her. He would often sneak her outside the temple to show her much of the world she never got a chance to see. The two inevitably bonded because of these excursions and became more than friends. But Muriel soon found out about their secret relationship and expressed her disapproval. When Owen rose to defend Liana, this only fueled Muriel's anger.
The draw of so powerful a heart was like a beacon for the Heartless. At first, only a few appeared and only to Muriel who showed enough dominance to be able to direct them. Of course, she, along with the rest of the population, had no idea what the Heartless were. Thinking they were mere manifestations of nature spirits, they began to worship the Heartless rather than fight back. Even after the first heart was taken, the people only sought to please these “spirits” more, now believing the lies Muriel told them that giving up their hearts would lead to eternal bliss in the spirits' paradise.
Liana was horrified at the state of her homeworld. People were dying, left and right, and no one seemed to care. And all the while, the numbers of the Heartless grew daily. Finally, she could stand it no longer and went with Owen to confront the High Priestess. However, Muriel was so overcome by darkness that, upon seeing Liana and Owen approaching, she immediately set huge amounts of Heartless upon them both. Owen tried his best to protect Liana, but he was no match for the hordes and quickly lost his heart. The Heartless then set upon Liana and everything went black.
For a while, it felt like she was floating in warmth, and then, abruptly, cold struck her.
When she awoke, her entire world was in pieces. Muriel was buried beneath a mass of Heartless. Owen was gone. She was alone. Just her and the creatures that had visited destruction upon Merthyr. But for some reason, she felt no sadness, no regret, no anger. In fact, she felt nothing at all. She could remember what she should feel in this situation, but she could not actually do so. The realization caught her off-guard. What was even more strange was that the Heartless were completely ignoring her now.
They were not, however, ignoring the rest of the world.
The very ground shook and then cracked. Cracks and holes were appearing everywhere now, and Liana rushed to get out of the temple before it crashed down on top of her. Merthyr was literally breaking apart as the Heartless devoured the world's heart. She would have had no where to go except out into space, but the chaos caused by the world's destruction caused several dark portals to blossom into existence. Not knowing what these were but knowing they looked like pathways away from here, she quickly chose one of them to hurtle through, leaving behind a home that would never again be a home to her.
The corridor took her to Enchanted Dominion, though she does not know that is its name.
It all comes down to this: make your choice.
You are presented with three weapons: a sword, a staff, and a shield. The sword represents the power of the warrior; invincible courage comes with this weapon as well as horrible destruction. The staff represents the power of the mystic; inner strength comes with this weapon as well as wonder and ruin. The shield represents the power of the guardian; kindness to aid friends comes with this weapon as well as a shield that will repel all.
Which one will you choose?
Chosen Weapon: Liana taps a finger to her cheek and then chooses the Staff.
Magic Bracer Symbolizing the determination of the Staff, this ability enables the mage using it to ignore up to Weak ability damage in order to continue the use of any of their abilities without hampered aim.

Oh my God, a Nobody that is not a freak. What is this I don't even...
Everything looks perfectly fine, and I'm glad to see you managed to work both your ability ideas (elemental shift and some illussion) into her moveset.
Also, nuns are evil. I know Muriel is "techinically" a priestess, but I still pictured her as a nun.
Accepted, Moved and Locked.
