Hi, Pryth! Once again, I am in need of your most excellent services.
First off, I want to upgrade Axel's Pyre Shock, but I'd like to know if there is something more creative I can do with it other than increase the range, etc. Right now, it looks like this (and since it's sometimes hard for me to describe things, no matter how many times I watch the videos, it's basically what he's doing here about a minute in; and now that I watch it, the ability may end up drastically re-worded, anyway xD).
Pyre Shock When desiring some distance between him and his opponent, Axel tosses both of his chakrams a couple of feet in front of him. While those cause damage in and of themselves, he also creates a large sphere of fire in between the weapons that, when it explodes, can send an opponent flying backwards a good several yards.
Range: An opponent must be within four feet of Axel for the brunt of this attack to hit. The sphere of fire is about four feet in diameter both in its width and its height. Speed: Once Axel releases his weapons, the fire sphere forms within about one second and subsequently explodes two seconds after that. Cooldown: 4 posts Uses: 3 uses per thread Strength: Moderate
Secondly, I'm thinking about upgrading one of Liana's abilities to Moderate. Right now, I'm leaning toward Harrowing Reflection. But if you think I should go for one of the others, let me know and also let me know what you think I should do with the upgrade.
Thanks so much in advance! : D

Alright, going off the video itself...
There's actually plenty to work with here besides just increasing the range and strength. You could, say, have fireballs erupt from the flames, either straightforward powerful ones or weak homing ones.
You could have the chakrams circle around Axel creating a 'circle' of Pyre Shock, for groups.
You could have anyone hit by the flames suffer a burn and take constant small damage for a few turns.
You could have maybe pillars of fire break up around the Pyre Shock, or something to that effect.
You could have the flames remain in place as an obstacle, or as a variation on that, fall to the ground and spread outwards to make an impassable area.
You could give yourself the option to delay it... say, make the Pyre Shock, it fades away, and then reflares one final time out of nowhere a few turns later.
You could even use multiple of these options, though of course not nearly all of them.
Right then. No payment necessary. XD
Edit: Harrowing Reflection would probably be the most immediately useful, but really all you can do with that ability is to increase the level of damage it reflects. You've made it reflect only abilities by the wording; you could make it apply to ranged normal attacks too.
