Oogie first~ Username: Slash Canons you own: Saix Link to RP thread: These Walls (Axel, Saix) Audition: Oogie was spending his Saturday the same way he always did- yelling at his henchmen through a tube.
"What did you just say? I spend ALL my time gatherin' myself up again and the first thing I hear is that Jack's messin' around?"
The fact that he hadn't really gathered himself up so much as he had been gathered up by external forces was completely lost on the giant bag of bugs. He was in a bad mood, or rather a terrible one. While it was only expected that Jack would still be alive, Oogie had rather hoped otherwise.
He heard various groveling apologies from his henchmen, but he wasn't sure exactly what they were saying- listening had never been his strong suit. He allowed the simpering idiots to go on for a while until he felt like yelling again.
"I don't CARE if you're sorry! JUST DO SOMETHIN' ABOUT IT!" Feeling a little better after this outburst, he looked down at the cage they had sent down. A juicy, fat grub writhed in fear within the cage, glimmering with slime. Now there was a sight for sore eyes. He ate it greedily, giving it the honor joining the thousands upon thousands of insects that filled his body, then threw the cage back up.
"You still up there? MOVE!" The sounds of frightened scurrying that resulted brought joy to Oogie's diseased, insect-ridden heart (or whatever served as a heart) and he looked out over his wonderful abode. The roulette wheel shone with an unhealthy luminescence, and the table in the center just begged to have a certain skeleton strapped to it. He grabbed a pair of dice.
7 or higher, and I'll beat Jack. he thought to himself before rolling the dice. They bounced along the table before stopping, a 2 and a 3 facing up towards him. He growled in frustration and hit the table hard enough to make the dice fly up again.
Double 6's! Now that was lucky. He laughed.
Halloween Town's mine, Jack, and you'd do best to get out while you still can.

Ursula second.
Audition: Ursula looked in the mirror and smiled. It was not a kind smile, nor was it in anyway comforting to the merman behind her. She didn't care. Once someone came into her cave, they had already passed the point of no return. The merman was looking back at the transformed merfolk in the entrance, completely unaware of what they were and how close he was to being one.
"You don't like my garden?" she asked, straightening out her hair. Beautiful as always. She could tell that he wanted to speak, and put a finger up to stop him. Turning towards him, she examined him closely. Not a bad specimen in the least. He wasn't coming here to look more attractive, that was for sure.
"Ah, ah. I know why you're here. A girl, of course. But something bad happened, didn't it? Something horrible." Flotsam and Jetsam moved past the merman into one of the many dark recesses of Ursula's home, laughing quietly to themselves.
He began to spew out a tragic story of a horrible accident, something about the love of his life and her untimely demise. Well. This promised to be quite an interesting day.
"Oh, you poor man. Fate can be so cruel sometimes." She pretended to be sympathetic for only a bit, the ruse being incredibly transparent, before returning to her normal, amused self and laughing slightly. "But that's what I'm here for, darling. You want her back?"
She turned to her cabinets, looking through her jars of poisonous things, rare things, mutants, monstrosities, bits of things...She did have such a lovely collection here. "I'll give you what you need...of course, you're going to have to tell me what she looks like." She laughed again, a low, smooth sound. "We don't want to bring just anyone back from the dead, now, do we?"
Of course, actually bringing anyone back from the dead was completely impossible. But she could produce a shell that could breathe, eat, and look reasonably like the girl the merman was now feverishly describing, and that would be enough for her purposes.
Blond hair, green eyes, etc....Ursula ignored the pointless parts of the description (namely, her personality), and focused on getting the correct ingredients for the appearance. She'd need the pickled eyes of this, the carapace of that, a living specimen of that...good, she had everything.
"Yes, I see. I can do it, of course. But there is the matter of payment..." She looked at the merman and smirked, her keen ears picking up the faint laughter of the two eels. "It's just a small thing, really, and I'm not even taking it all. I just want a bit of your sight, that's all. You won't be blind, and of course you really don't need to see well..."
He begun to protest, and she shrugged. "Suit yourself," she said, a hint of mock sadness coming into her voice. "I'm sure you can live the rest of your life happily without that pretty little fish..." She turned away and listened intently. Sure enough, he choked back his fear and agreed to the terms.
"Perfect!" Ursula said, throwing jars and bottles of various horrible things into her cauldron. "Now, she's going to be a little shocked when she comes back, and you're going to have to bring her to her senses. If you can get her to love you within the week, then you can have her forever. If not, well..." She smiled greedily. "I'm afraid you'll lose her. What's more, you will belong to me. But all you have to do to avoid it is get her to say 'I love you' and mean it."
"Now, sign here," she added, producing a contract and a quill from the water. He scratched down his signature hesitantly. Ursula took the contract and laughed louder than before, a continuous sound that most likely scared the merman to death. She swiped a hand over his eyes and placed what she grabbed into her seashell pendant. As if on cue, a blond-haired form rose almost meekly from the cauldron. If it wasn't exactly right, then he wouldn't notice, and he left with the shell in tow.
His goal was deceptively easy- certainly he was confident about his abilities. Ursula sat in front of her mirror again, admiring herself. She'd see him back here in a week. The doll she had given him was incapable of love.
Who said she had to play fair?

Mulan last~
Audition: Mulan sat quietly on the stone bench outside her home, the trees above her rustling slightly. Her life had become quite serene now that the war had ended, and she had hung up her father's sword- hopefully for good.
Something wasn't right, though. She could feel it. There was danger in the air.
Mulan was far stronger and more resolute than was expected of a woman, but she did not seek danger. She vividly remembered the horrors of the war against Shan Yu, the burnt village, the fear of her death and the death of those around her. Battle was not something to wish for.
And yet something told her that she may have to raise a sword again in defense of her country, of her family, of her home.
If war started again, Shang would certainly answer the call. Would she? It was forbidden for a woman to fight in war, and she had barely escaped execution last time. However, the death of Shan Yu had won her respect as a soldier. She would be allowed to fight, she was almost sure.
Would she?
She would. If it meant saving those around her, keeping her family safe, she would.
Besides, what would Shang do without me? She smiled, looking up at the trees above her. They were not in bloom quite yet, but would show their flowers soon.
A leaf detached itself and floated gently towards her. She caught it in her palm and looked admiringly at the beauty around her. War may have been over the horizon, but right now she would make sure to enjoy these few moments of quiet peace.

Well, I really like your Oogie audition and have more or less no problems with it. I can't say much for Ursula since I was never a fan of The Little Mermaid, but it's pretty good, regardless. The Mulan one is short and sweet, and I think you've got her character down pretty well. So, all in all...

I really like all of the auditions you put here. I could picture exactly what Oogie Boogie was doing in your post as well as Ursula. Mulan's audition was very nicely done as well and was a great contrast to the two villains. You got all of these characters down really quickly and I think this next part goes without saying:
