Demyx sighed to himself as soon as Vexen spoke. Great, the Academic managed to find a way to prolong this meeting further somehow. It figured, there was no chance he would get lucky enough to leave so soon. Vexen suggested testing the new member, and while maybe somewhat interesting an idea, Demyx would much rather this meeting be over with already.
Zexion summoned a handful of Dusks and their new member with the hard to pronounce name took out her weapon. Another person with a scythe huh? And number twelve too? Talk about a coincidence. Or wait had he been number eleven? Ah, it didn't matter. It was interesting to see that her element was similar to Vexen's, though hopefully she didn't end up too similar to him either. It was neat to see her take the Dusks out so quickly, but as soon as it was over Demyx was bored again.
He rested his head on his hand, though making sure that the stiffs in the room saw he wasn't asleep, just bored. Though he did like that she had been so quiet throughout the whole thing. IT didn't look like she would be the type to really boss him around like all the others. Maybe he'd be lucky and could pawn off his missions onto her.

It would appear my absence has been felt. A corridor of darkness opened in the room. A little expected character stepped through. Golden eyes observed the goings-on of the little meeting. "It is good to see you all well, members of my Organization," Xemnas said, not, of course, feeling any of this, but merely noting the inconvenience if he had lost any of his members.
"I apologize for the inconvenience my untimely rest has brought you." Turning to Zexion, the Superior nodded. "Six, I truly must extend to you my thanks. Should I again become likewise incapacitated, you may take charge again. After all," he said, looking around at those gathered, "we all must have one giving us direction, must we not?"
Leaving the rhetorical question at that, Xemnas looked around again at his assembled members. "I must inquire as to what events have occurred while I have been incapacitated. I see we have acquired a new member, and I trust Zexion has followed standard procedure involving naming and the like." Continuing onward, Xemnas focused on Demyx. It was odd to see him at a naming like this.
"Number Nine, is there a particular reason you have come to this meeting? Forgive me if I do not believe you hold much interest in a naming ceremony." Turning to the Luna Diviner, Xemnas continued. "Seven? It is good to see you take an interest in our new members." Xemnas turned his head to gaze once more upon Zexion. "Number Six, I will leave the rest of this to you. I have other matters on my mind at the moment, and you seem to be handling youself well."

Look Who Decided to Come Mingle With the Commoners Zexion, evidently not appreciating haven't the Academic questioning his judgment, shot him a quick glare, something he found slightly amusing. Who did the Schemer think he was, the Superior? Running the meeting he might have been (oddly enough), but his word was still far from unquestionable. Conceding to the request of a demonstration, he summoned a total of ten dusks for the girl to fight. And her element was similar to Vexen's was it? This might prove to be quite an interesting show after all...
The Soldier suddenly went into clear battle mode, suddenly overtaken by a determined seriousness. She summoned a rather ornate scythe that had several blue gems imbedded in, and immediately got to work dispatching of the lesser Nobodies. The first few were handled with the weapon, but it was then shown what Zexion had meant by the similar element comment when she summoned a swarm of ice shards to handle those remaining. That had been faster than expected. And she wasn't even showing any clear signs of tiring... This one could prove to be very useful.
"Impressive." he admitted. "Certainly more qualified than our previous Number Twelve..." Particularly in terms of respect and professional attitude. Larxene had been loud and troublesome the moment she stepped into the Organization. Not too differently from a majority of the other recruits that had been acquired since the group's founding. Vexen was willing to bet that Aixfeur would at least be an improvement from most of her predecessors, who obviously had not set the bar extremely high.
With that having been seen, the Academic given enough to make a clear first-impression of their latest initiate. And so now he supposed there really wasn't much of a point in dragging the meeting out any longer. He still had already prolonged things sufficiently, and he had his experiments to get back to, naturally. "Well, if there is nothing remaining that must be discussed, then I think--" He stopped, surprised by an unexpected appearance two chairs to his left.
"Superior." he said in acknowledgement. Vexen would not have thought Xemnas would have bothered to grace them with his presence, seeing as he was always just so busy. More odd was the fact that he did not seem to be taking control of the gathering, continuing to leave things to Number Six. Why even show up at all if he wasn't going to do anything? Things were practically over anyway. "In fact, I believe we were just about finished here... Isn't that right, Zexion?"

And the Act Begins Again Aixfeur, as expected, took care of the Dusks quickly and almost effortlessly. At the end of the short demonstration, she didn't look fazed at all. The other members seemed to acknowledge this, though of course only Vexen spoke. Yes, Aixfeur was certainly better than the previous members who had held her position. Larxene had been a nuisance and Axas had been even worse. This one followed orders without hesitation and fought with speed and a bit of grace. Zexion would certainly not want to be on the receiving end of her scythe or any of her other abilities; though at the moment, he didn't want to be on the receiving end of anything.
Another Corridor of Darkness sounded, surprising many. The Superior had decided to show himself; Aixfeur would get to meet him after all. The Schemer did a short bow from where he was to acknowledge the presence of Xemnas and then looked up to him. "Superior, how thoughtful of you to grace us with your presence. I had told our newest member, Aixfeur, that she would not get to meet you. A name and a title has been given to her, as per standard procedure." It was another act of course, a gracious one at that. He had to play this part for a little longer and only a little bit.
The Superior spoke a bit, as he typically did, though Zexion wasn't concentrating too much on his words to the other members. Once the words "we all must have one giving us direction, must we not?" were said, his mind went in an entirely different direction. Axel's words also came into his mind, the Schemer eying Xemnas with a blank stare. The coup could be started now. After this meeting even. Now that the Superior was no longer incapacitated, they could act upon this. The plan was already in Zexion's head too. It would be incredibly simple and it needed to be done soon.
"Yes, we have just about finished," he said, acknowledging Vexen's point, "Standard operations have continued while you were not able to do so. Saïx and I have made sure of this." He had to acknowledge that he had not been doing this completely on his own. Saïx had been doing his fair share of the work as well, one of the only other members who did.

Staying Silent Well, wasn't this unexpected--the Superior himself had decided to grace them with his presence. Luckily, he only seemed to be wanting to hear how they had been doing. For the House, he was rather ignorant of the going-ons under his nose. Foolish leader. Luxord was half-tempted to show Xemnas the evidence suggesting Saix and Axel's plotting, but he decided against it. With the Flame dead, there was no way the Diviner, even under the influence of the moon, could defeat Xemnas. Even if he did, then Xemnas would deserve it for his ignorance. Now Luxord was bored with this game. The entertainment had ended, and now there wasn't much left for him to do. If the Superior hadn't shown himself, then he would have left by now and gone to watch the cards again. Even though the Flame had been discarded, he still felt that something wasn't right about it. Either his senses had been playing tricks, or someone had just pulled an amazing sleight of hand in front of him.

Please, Not Another Monologue Xemnas. So much for this being quick. Incapacitated. That was an interesting word for sleeping. The Superior and the Nocturne had one thing in common- they slept half of the day. How interesting. You believe yourself to be secure in your position, but things are falling apart around you and you're too incompetent to notice. The new Number Twelve had better get a good look at you, because you won't be here much longer. Please, let there not be a monologue. Please. Saïx was not in the mood. ...Not that he ever was. Nevertheless, he would speak. "It is best to examine the new members and find their specialties as quickly as possible." Also, see if they were traitors. _________________________ While Saïx was merely annoyed, Aixfeur was hardly aware of how to act. This was the leader of the entire Organization. What should she do? She backed up a little, unsure of herself. He had not spoken to her, so she would stay silent. She did not want to be rude.

Demyx was very much ready to leave. But then the unexpected happened. The Superior had appeared. He immediately sat up straight. It was very unexpected for him to have shown up, he had been gone doing who knew what for the longest time. He wondered why the Superior had been gone for so long, but it didn't really matter.
He then almost jumped out of his seat out of surprise when the Superior addressed him. That didn't happen often and it always threw him off. He was apparently curious as to why he had come to the initiation. "Uh....well, I figured I should catch one of these every once and awhile...." he said unsure exactly why he was here himself. Well, he had figured he'd get yelled at about it if he didn't go, but he wasn't about to go announcing that.
Now Demyx was even more anxious to get going. Being around the Superior always made him nervous. Hopefully this meeting wouldn't last too much longer now.

Traitors to a Trator King? Xemnas surveyed his members a second time. It seemed slightly suspicious that they were suddenly finished with the meeting as he arrived. Perhaps some of them were not quite true to the goals of the Organization. And by that, of course, he meant not true to him as their leader, and therefore the decider of their goals. Or rather, he retained the same purported goals, while keeping his true goals more or less hidden.
"Have you truly said all that there is to be said?" the Superior asked his pawns as he looked down on them, his words spoken at the normal speed, slightly slower than most. Or so it appeared to Xemnas. "I should believe there were events that occurred while I was incapacitated that you would to well to inform me of." Scanning his members, the Nobody went through the replies that he was treated to upon his entrance. If there was some sort of betrayal that was going to occur, then it stood to reason that Zexion, Vexen, and Saïx were in on it.
Vexen's words gave deference to Zexion, which the rank-obsessed Number Four would never do, lest he be taken advantage of, or seen as even more pathetic than a good portion of the members saw him. Zexion had told him that he and Saïx had taken care of standard procedure, implying that the two were also working closely together, securing a hold on the leadership.
However, Xemnas did not see this as a problem. It was merely a minor issue, one that could be eradicated quickly. Though he was still weakened from his awakening, the others would not know this, and thus would not risk an open confrontation, as if Zexion would confront him openly anyhow. Either way, it would be something to watch for in the near future.
Turning his gaze upon Demyx first, as he knew that Nine would crack under pressure. "Number Nine, tell me; what has occurred while I have been away? Or have you paid attention to the occurrances? I assumed you may have due to the fact that you were present at this meeting, that you may have been paying a slight amount more attention than you had in the past. I realize I have likely either lost you with my speech, or terrified you into silence, therefore you may take your time responding."
At that, he turned to the newest member. "Aixfeur, I believe I heard you called, what is your power? You will forgive me the question, of course, seeing as I had been away during your demonstration." Turning his head to look at Zexion, he asked, "She is Twelve, then? What is her title?" His gaze returned to the female Nobody, silent below. "Aixfeur, I would like you to destroy these as best you can." He conjured up three Sorcerors and four Dusks. "I assume you are powerful enough to defeat them, that is. You would not have been permitted entry were you not."

Another fight? Aixfeur readied herself silently for yet another fight. These Nobodies were stronger, and she was entering the battle in a slightly more exhausted state. Still, she figured that she could survive. She'd deal with the Dusks first, get them out of the way. Avoiding the Sorcerers, she honed in on one Dusk and cut through it as she had cut through the ten before it, then turned to the other two. She knocked one back with the hilt of her scythe, struck the other one twice with the blade to kill it, then brought her scythe down in a lethal arc that connected with the last Dusk's head. Time for the hard part. The Sorcerers barely moved, the cubes around them seeking to destroy her. One at a time. No point in taking them all on like the Dusks unless you want to make a fool of yourself. Aixfeur waited a second for an opening, then attacked one of the Sorcerers by jumping up and slashing at it multiple times. It took far more strength than a Dusk would, but in the end she managed. She repeated this strategy with two more while managing to keep from being significantly harmed, but by this point she was quite tired. The quick succession of fights had taken their toll. She lost a bit of focus, and allowed the last Sorcerer an opening which it gladly took. She braced herself for the blow. It never came. It was as if she split apart into thousands of little pieces, and those pieces rushed towards a destination and reformed. She appeared behind the Sorcerer, to the surprise of both, and killed it as she had killed the others. Aixfeur returned to her place. She couldn't hide all of her exhaustion, but kept as much of it from her peers as was possible. [ Dissolution used. No uses left.] _______________________ Meanwhile, Saïx spent the entire time wishing Xemnas would shut his stupid mouth for once. The Soldier proved herself. Again. Perhaps the other members could come in and throw some Nobodies at her, and she could die before she did anything useful. This was being dragged out far too long. Just like everything else Xemnas was near. Similar to how everything Midas touched had turned to gold, everything the Superior touched turned to boredom.

Honest Zexion Oddly enough, the Superior seemed rather interested in what Demyx had to say in all of this compared to the rest. He wanted to know what other events had happened while he was incapacitated, which, Zexion supposed, there was something noteworthy. He would perhaps relish in hearing that Axel was dead, disposed of by Lexaeus. He would need to know this sooner or later and there was no better time such as the present.
Before he could say a thing, more Nobodies were summoned to the floor that he and Aixfeur were on as another test. He quickly got out of the way while she dealt with the creatures once again. Her strategy changed this time around, focusing on one at a time instead of all at one. She did remarkable once again and proved her strength well. There was no need for her to do it again, but the Superior felt like dragging on this meeting pointlessly. Hopefully, he could consider this the end now that she had proven herself yet again in front of him.
He stepped forward once the battle was finished, back into the center of the floor and looking straight up at the Superior. "Her title is The Relentless Soldier, a fitting name as you can see." He gestured to Aixfeur as he said this, then returned his attention back to Xemnas. "And yes, there is one thing that I neglected to mention that has perhaps not gotten around yet. Axel, the traitor, has been disposed of. He infiltrated the Castle just yesterday, but he will never do so again. You may thank Lexaeus for that."
Now that everything necessary had been said, could this meeting please be over? They did not need to make this too long did they? No one wanted to hear yet another monologue. With this meeting having no need to drag on anymore, Zexion decided to close it before Xemnas got too comfortable monologuing. "The initiation of our new number twelve, Aixfeur, is complete. You may return to your normal activities." The Superior probably wouldn't like that he seized control like this, but at the moment, that wasn't important. He opened a Corridor and disappeared, the rest of the Organization doing the same before Xemnas could open his mouth.
