The first place Zexion thought to look for Sora was the world he had been on recently. Land of Dragons was where he left him, though whether he stayed for long was questionable. With Kairi, he might stay longer, though the Schemer could never truly know how he traveled. He was still learning all about this Keyblade Master and how he worked. He was not going to like hearing the news that Zexion was going to give him either about Mickey, that was definite. No one was. Mickey was a symbol of hope for the fighters of light, someone to look up to... or down to and respect he supposed. With him gone, the dynamics of everything had changed.
The world hadn't changed though. Land of Dragons was exactly the same as he left it. Nothing was out of place as he looked down from the mountain, the city below behaving as it normally was. Heartless levels, at least from what he sensed; typical of these days. This was not remotely helpful to him of course since Sora was not even here. He had left to who knows where and his trip here was completely pointless now. He would have to trace Sora's scent to some other world, something he was not exactly wanting to do at the moment.
"I suppose I will have to stay here for now and see if I can find anything new reconnaissance wise,"
he thought to himself, starting his descent down the mountain with hood up. It was a good thing he had entered the world this way since it was frigid up here. Though, if he managed to get into town, he would have to change that. The Organization needed different attire rather than these cloaks; they looked far too foreboding by themselves.[/blockquote]

We need to talk. Saïx had made up his mind to speak to Zexion. There was too much danger of one of them enacting their plan, only to come into conflict with the plan of the other and ruin everything. There wasn't much to be gained from keeping Zexion in the dark, and a lot to lose. The Schemer wouldn't reveal their plans to Xemnas no matter how much he and Saïx distrusted each other, as he would be putting himself at too great of a risk. As always, his ability to correctly guess the location of an Organization member was impeccable. Call it intuition, if you like, or just a simple hunch. When Saïx entered the Land of Dragons, he immediately spotted Zexion at a point above him, descending the mountain. He put his hood up- just because he was a Nobody didn't mean that he was immune to cold- and waited for Zexion to be within earshot. "Number Six," he said matter-of-factly. "We have much to discuss." He said the last part in such a way that it was clear that they would be discussing said thing now, and no objections on his part would be heard.

And Talk We Shall And just as he was descending, he heard another voice. He looked down to where he heard the voice, another Organization member standing there with their hood up. There was absolutely no question about who the voice belonged to: Saïx. He wanted to speak with him and he wished to do so right at this very moment. Zexion could not say he was surprised by that; Saïx was a very punctual Nobody and efficient. It would be pointless to return to the World That Never Was just for a discussion. Though, the Schemer was unsure what exactly he wanted to discuss that demanded so much importance.
"Yes, I suppose we do," he replied, walking down to meet Saïx at his level, "What do you want to discuss with me?" There were many possible answers to that question. It could concern Axel and his supposed death, that of which Saïx may know to be a farce. Though, as far as he had seen, the two still detested each other out of disloyalty or something of the like. It could concern Xemnas and even possibly the coup. Did Number Seven know? He did possess quite the ability to discern things, but the coup had so far stayed under wraps.
Though, there was the possibility that he had spoken with Axel, who may have told him. That would certainly be interesting. Whatever it was though, Saïx now had his full attention and he would not leave until the discussion was declared over.

Getting To The Point If there was one thing Saïx did not do, it was waste words. That was the main difference between him and most of the other Organization members. He was not going to hint at the point when he didn't have to. "I've been talking to Axel before and after his faked death. You've been planning a coup with him. So have I. It would be in our best interests to keep from interfering with each other- doing so would inevitably lead to failure. That is why I am here."How well had Axel concealed this from Zexion? Saïx did not know. It didn't matter anyway. They were all stuck in this together, bound by a red thread of mutual treachery. Whether they liked it or not.

No Need For Ambiguity Saïx's words initially surprised him. So, he had been speaking to Axel after his false death? That made things completely different. He also knew about the coup that the two had been planning, which meant that Axel had been communicating with him for at least some time now. That was what the Schemer assumed anyhow. Thankfully, Saïx had gotten straight to the point about this and didn't dilly-dally with words. This was what he preferred in members unlike the Superior and Vexen, ones who tended to ramble.
"Yes, I agree with this," he said, "Had I known sooner, I might have planned accordingly. I did not know you and Axel were still communicating. He had initially told me that he was not fond of you." That was one of the reasons why it was at least a little surprising to Zexion about this whole thing. He had made it exceedingly clear that he did not trust Saïx anymore, that he had been used and he wasn't fond of it. Though, old friendships said a lot.
"Now that the Superior is no longer incapacitated, this can perhaps go quicker. What do you have planned?" His question was straightforward, all that needed to be said. This wasn't something to pussyfoot around. This needed to be done precisely and everything needed to be put on the table in this manner. There was no need for cryptic words or half-truths. Zexion did not trust Saïx much, but they both had the same goal and that was to dispose of Xemnas. If they could work together, it would work greatly for everyone's benefit, Axel included.

No Complications Zexion had the courtesy of being straightforward, understanding the situation completely. He had asked what Saïx's plan was. Saïx had never found the need for overly complicated plans- the more variables you added, the more likely something was to fail. Besides, he was exceedingly straightforward. A plan based around trickery and stealth was not his forte. "Nothing complicated. The Superior has become complacent. I have gained enough trust to the point where my every move is no longer questioned by the Superior. This being done, I can lure him into an isolated area, such as the Altar. Axel would be in wait. And then..." He didn't need to finish the thought, so he didn't. "Axel's supposed death advanced both of our positions. If the Superior believes he is dead, then I have no one to conspire with. What has your plan been, Zexion?"Saïx was at least thankful that Zexion did not share that particular habit of exaggeration and overlong speeches at the Superior and Number Eleven both possessed.

This Makes Things Quite Simple Saïx's plan was very to the point and relied upon the trust from the Superior that he now had. He would lure the Superior to the Altar and bring him down alongside Axel, almost the exact thing that Zexion was going to do. Doing the necessary pre-coup details were arduous, but the coup itself was a straightforward and simple event that was going to take place. It did not need to be complicated. The Schemer did typically try to make his plans this way, though the Superior had made it a bit harder for that with his incapacitation.
"Quite similar to yours, actually," he told the Diviner, "I was going to use Axel's supposed death to my advantage. I would have him waiting at the Altar and lure the Superior there with an illusion of Kingdom Hearts. After that..." That was all that needed to be said since that was all that the plan was. The good thing about these plans, the both of them, was that they were malleable. They could blend well together and work absolutely perfectly. The Superior would never suspect such a thing, especially out of his two most loyal members and the one he thought was dead.
"Perhaps we could put these plans together-- there is no reason they need to remain separate since the goal of them is the same. The only question is when. I am not planning to wait too much longer." Axel's words were still clear in his mind. He wanted Xemnas and he wanted him immediately. Zexion did intend to deliver Xemnas as soon as possible, especially now that he had made himself accessible. And, if Saïx agreed to this, the three of them would have an easier time of disposing him together. It worked out perfectly.
Almost too perfectly. There was still the trust issue, but Zexion would look over that. For now.

Easy Compromise Saïx was satisfied with how easy it would be to combine the two plans. It was strange how similar they were, only different in their method of bringing Xemnas to the Altar. "Simple. You can create the illusion, and it would not be suspicious if I was present as well." It was well-known how dedicated he was to regaining his heart. The appearance of Kingdom Hearts would mean much to him. "As soon as Axel is healed, I was planning on starting the plan. Even with all three of us, it will be difficult. All of us have to be ready." It fit together well. He distrusted Zexion and Zexion distrusted him, but that could be put aside. "I advised Axel on where to go. He will be in Deep Jungle. If one of us finds that he is healed, we should enact the plan as soon as possible."This conversation was exceedingly quick. Good. Saïx never had time to waste. And neither did Zexion, apparently.

Efficiency At Its Best Everything worked out well. It would make complete sense for Saïx to be there when Kingdom Hearts appeared in the sky, perhaps even more sense than the Superior himself appearing. Saïx was the one that yearned for his heart the most, the one that was willing to do just about anything to get to it. He was truly loyal to the Organization's goal, something Zexion respected. The Schemer nodded to this point, acknowledging its sound logic. This went by quickly and he liked it.
"Yes, we do," he said, "I will make some necessary preparations to aid that. I will also speak to Axel straightaway to relay this information." Thank goodness Saïx had told him Axel's location right then, for that meant that he did not have to try and detect him. He could also probably bring a potion to him to speed up the healing process. He wanted this to be quick and decisive with absolutely no more waiting. Time was of the essence.
"We will be in touch then." There was nothing else that needed to be said. The conversation was over and the two could continue doing what they were before. Both of them were busy keeping the Organization in order. They would be the ones doing it afterward as well. Without wasting anymore time, Zexion disappeared into a Corridor of Darkness, going straight to the Deep Jungle to find Axel. He would need to not only tell him about this current slight change in plans, but about Sora. He would warn Saïx of that later when the time was better. Right now, Axel was the only one that cared about Sora and his safety, which was extremely at risk.
And now, so was the Superior's.
