So tell me a little bit about yourself.

Physical Aspects: Caroline is a natural beauty, and above all a proper young lady. She has shoulder length blond hair, styled into soft curls. Her eyes are gray like steel, though not nearly as cold or hard. She is neither tall or short, thick or thin but she has a small waist. She is usually found wearing her favorite pink dress, as well as pair of simple heels.

Persona:

• Façade: Caroline was born and raised a proper young Southern lady, with an emphasis on graciousness and hospitality. Furthermore, she was also raised to one become a wife and mother herself. She cares more about the comfort and happiness of those around her than her own feelings. Normally, she is very happy, sweet and kindhearted- though she has been known to be somewhat of a crybaby and very easily crushed. She will let people walk all over her if she's not careful, as she is very passive and doesn't like to cause trouble for anyone.
  
  
• Inner Mind: There is a dark side to Caroline's Southern charm: she is very judgmental at times, and a bit of a gossip. On the inside, Caroline secretly yearns for a life outside her home and away from her three sisters that are just like her and the suffocation of her mother. However, she is very naive and sheltered and does not understand what life in the "real world" is like. She is very much a daddy's girl, and very spoiled. Even though she has been spoiled with material possessions, she is still a very sweet young lady- she's only spoiled because she doesn't know any better. Her father has been trying to protect her from the dangers of the outside world her whole life, and this has left Caroline with a somewhat skewed view of the world.

She carries a small two shot derringer with her for self-defense, but she has never been formally trained to defend herself, much less attack, as this was deemed "improper" for a lady such as herself. Two shots are all she has, as she doesn't carry any extra ammunition.

What’s your story?

Caroline is the youngest of four sisters, born into the lap of luxury in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was showered with love, affection and material possessions from infancy. Her father, though he often stated he did not have a favorite, obviously cared for Caroline more than her three sisters. Whether it was her status as the baby of the family, or because of her chronic illnesses that left her physically weak, her father sheltered her from the outside world. Caroline grew up sweet, but naive.

The Slay family was very well off until the Depression hit. Their money quickly dwindled and Caroline's father kept their debt a secret from his wife and daughters- until it was too late. In a last ditch attempt to regain their fortune, he gambled the last of their money... and lost. He was left with nothing and no way to support their lifestyle any longer.

Faced with the uncertainty of a completely different way of life, Caroline was obviously very afraid and confused. Things only got worse from there.

Daddy couldn't pay what he owed to his gambling buddies, who had become much less buddy-buddy when they realized he couldn't pay up. They resorted to kidnapping Caroline and requesting a very large ransom- hoping that Daddy would come running to save his beloved daughter. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to make it in time and the trio of men took Caroline far away in order to use her to regain their money.

This is where our story begins. Caroline is desperate for help in the custody of these three men. Meanwhile, their gang is terrorizing her now destitute family and she can not return home even if she were to escape.

It all comes down to this: make your choice.

The staff represents the power of the mystic; inner strength comes with this weapon as well as wonder and ruin.
