Please don't just drop me off. -------- Nadia looked away and thought. More choices. Well. Really, it was the same choice she had had all along. Perhaps expanded somewhat now that he was offering to take her anywhere she wanted.
"I know I don't want to stay here."
If she chose not to stay with him, where would she go? Not back to Twilight Town. She had seen too much, done too much to go back there. It would be like a butterfly going back into its cocoon trying to turn back into a caterpillar. She had grown beyond that place.
Images of Gabby suddenly rose in her mind. And then she knew. She knew what she wanted to do. It was probably the most foolish thing she could do.
"I want to go home." She returned her gaze to Jericho. "I have to try."

Is that really what you want? [/center] Her home? Where she was reviled? Very well, then. He'd take her there. It seemed foolish, but he wasn't going to argue. "If that's what you want." He looked at her worriedly. "It's not going to be that simple, though. If they forced you out, they're not going to welcome you with open arms."She could die. He wasn't about to let that happen. They'd go there, but he'd stay for a while. Just to make sure she wasn't destroyed as soon as she walked off of the ship. "But you're not going to get hurt," he said in a tone that was not one of assurance but one of confident finality. He would keep from allowing the spider out, though. He doubted he would become unstable enough for that.

It might be stupid. -------- She nodded slowly. "Yes, I know. But I just want to go home."
She was fooling herself. In the back of her mind, she knew that. If she suddenly showed up in Agrabah again, her welcome would be anything but warm. In the case of her parents and the rest of the people, absence did not in any way make the heart grow fonder.
Returning home didn't necessarily mean she was going to stay there. Truth be told, she didn't know what she wanted out of this visit. Assurances of familial affection? Just some respect? Maybe a hug?
None of it was going to happen. She'd most likely end up beaten to death.
She turned and walked in the direction of the ship. "Thank you."
