Alright, I'm back, yet again because I'm fairly stumped as to how I'm going to upgrade this, beyond the obvious. Though, my obvious and your obvious are more likely than not two very different things xD
Basically, I'm wondering how to incorporate Darkness in to this ability, as well as/or some form of attack or counter in it. I was thinking of ice forming around him and shattering outwards, but I wasn't too fond of it. If it helps, the name I was going for was "Frost's Damnation". For the record, I know that I'm going to have damage up to Moderate nullified for one post, and the ice left by it for three posts. I'm just looking for ways that it can have an offensive portion to it, or something...interesting. Thanks in advance!
Frost's Baptism
Rapidly chilling the air around him to approximately 15 degrees Fahrenheit, Raen's heightens his defenses enough to completely negate up to Weak attacks and reduce the damage of other attacks. When this is active, there is a visible fog around Raen, and his footsteps leave small patches of frost. Fire still deals double damage to him. Once this ability is used it reaches full effect within seconds, at which time the ground around him freezes in a layer of rough ice.
Range: Six foot radius of ice cover
Speed: Five seconds for full effect, one post duration, ice lasts for two posts
Cooldown: Four Posts
Uses: Twice per battle
Strength: Moderate
