So tell me a little bit about yourself.

Physical Aspects: Vincent is a dark, foreboding individual. He stands at about six feet tall and has long, black hair and eyes a unique shade of red. Red is also the color of his tattered mantled cape and of the length of cloth wrapped around his forehead under his hair. Under his cape, he wears long pants made of black leather, a belt and a long sleeved leather top with silver double breasted buttons. One his left arm, he wears a long black glove but on the right he has a golden-colored gauntlet that covers his whole hand and forearm. His shoes are a bit like boots, but the toes and ankle are covered in the same golden colored metal as his hand. There is a gun holster strapped to his left thigh. He has a very regal, serious looking face. Pictured here.



Persona:

• Façade: Vincent is a brooding man, still guilty about his past sins. He speaks little and usually only when he has something important to say. He seems cold and uncaring, and spends a lot of his time deep in thought, although he is not spacy or airheaded. He is also very mysterious. No one really knows a lot about him and he has a tendency to keep secrets- intentionally or not. He is a natural loner and prefers to keep to himself. He is capable of making friends, however, and will fight alongside those in need.
  
  
• Inner Mind:Despite his cold, brooding exterior, Vincent is capable of warmth and kindness. He even has a sense of humor at times. But when he begins to think of his past sins, he is almost overwhelmed with guilt and regret. He hates himself at times and wonders if he will ever be forgiven or find peace. While he is capable of love and warmth, he is also capable of extreme hatred. He wishes to atone for his sins, through punishment or kind deeds.

A triple barreled, triple chambered revolver. Semi-automatic and break loading. Capable of holding eighteen shots, six per chamber. Three bullets are fired at once, allowing for six shots per reload. Named after the beast that guards the gates of the Underworld.

ABILITIES SECTION:

[Galian Beast]
Essentially 'berserk mode', Vincent can transform into a monster known as the Galian Beast. However, once he transforms, he cannot change back at will. While in this form, his wounds are healed and his stats- strength, speed and defense- increase two fold. The Galian Beast will attack any enemies in sight relentlessly and withstand little damage from physical and magical attacks. When the time period is up, or if he is knocked out, he will return to his normal appearance and stats. Any damage he took before transforming will be healed, but any damage he took during the time he was Galian Beast will stay and will require a potion or other ability to heal. The Galian Beast transformation looks like this

What’s your story?

Vincents beginnings are not well known to anyone. He resided in Radiant Garden , at least from a relatively young age, and served as a castle guard. However, this was long ago, before Ansem the Wise became ruler over the Garden.

It came to pass that he fell in love with a beautiful woman. History shows us this is usually when things go wrong. The details are vague, but the story goes that Vincent was assigned to supervise a project of some sort and met Lucrecia Crescent, who was also taking part in the project.

It is sad that perhaps Ansem and his apprentices were not the only ones to experiment on the heart, or even the first. The rumor is that this is what the project was about and the facts fit. The researchers and scientists taking part were using human test subjects.

By this time, Vincent and Lucrecia had developed a close friendship, perhaps farther than that. But tensions arose when he voiced his displeasure about the human testing. Arguments ensued. This is probably what caused the friendship to become strained and Lucrecia found herself in the arms of another man, another researcher she worked alongside- Professor Hojo. She soon became pregnant and to Vincent's horror, Hojo planned to use their unborn child as a test subject. Lucrecia agreed, in the name of science, and she soon became very ill due to the stresses of the experimentation.

Outraged and sick of seeing Lucrecia deteriorate, Vincent confronted Hojo. There was a fight and Hojo pulled a gun out of his lab jacket, shooting Vincent in the stomach. He then proceeded to use Vincent's half-dead body to experiment on, which ended with him being able to transform into the Galian Beast, as well as other monsters, after awakening a dormant part of his heart. But it was no use. Although Vincent still lived, he was in a coma. So, Hojo counted the experiment as a failure and ordered Lucrecia to... take care of things. By this time she had already given birth to her son...

Shattered by the events, Lucrecia was left alone with Vincent's sleeping body and began to get very emotional. The light in her heart, her love for Vincent, was enough to wake him from his coma... but it wasn't fast enough. Lucrecia was overcome with guilt and she ran away from Radiant Garden.

After Lucrecia was gone, Vincent woke up alone. The light in Lucrecia's heart had healed him. But she was no where to be found. Vincent searched for her, in order to thank her and try to make things right. He finally found her in a cave, encased in crystals. Due to the experiments done on her, Lucrecia was essentially immortal and her body was strong enough to withstand even suicide. Since she could not die, she simply encased herself in the crystals, never to see the light of day again, as her eternal punishment for the things she had done.

Vincent was also now immortal and could not die by his own hand. In order to atone for his 'sins', Vincent locked himself in a stone coffin deep below the castle. He slept there for almost thirty years, mostly undisturbed until Radiant Garden was destroyed by the Heartless.

In all the commotion, Vincent came out of his coffin. Needless to say, he was shocked. He didn't end up in Traverse Town like the others. Nobody knows where he ended up. Regardless, a few years later he made his way back to Radiant Garden. He was able to transform into one of his new forms in order to travel between worlds.

He ended up actually becoming friends with what would soon become the Radiant Garden Restoration Committee: Leon, Aerith, Yuffie, Cid and Merlin, as well as others.

But he still had not made peace with Lucrecia. He disappeared in the dead of night and fled to the Crystal Cave where she lay in eternal sleep. He stayed there for a long, long time before his friends came and convinced him to come back to them. Vincent was sure he had found peace but once he returned home it was apparent that there was still something missing.

This is where the story begins. Vincent still often spends time in the Crystal Caverns in Radiant Garden, though Lucrecia sleeps in another cave. He is still searching for forgiveness and happiness.

It all comes down to this: make your choice.
