Her hair is wild, unkempt and long-down to her waist- and has a fringe that almost completely covers her right eye. She wears a brown leather coat, cropped to the waist and long sleeved. The inside of the jacket is lined with a satiny green material. Under her coat she wears a purple and green horizontally striped crop top with three-quarter sleeves. Black denim "skinny jeans" and a brown belt. Purple and green sneakers and black fingerless gloves. She wears no make up and the only jewelry she wears is a plain black choker necklace and the three piercings in her left ear. Probably the most distinguishing feature of her face is her eyebrows, which are thick and serious. She has a tattoo of a black Monarch butterfly on her left shoulder. Emi grew up thinking maybe she was a princess and her parents would return for her soon. She was born in Radiant Garden and abandoned at an orphanage just hours after her birth. Despite her knack for getting into fights and making trouble for herself and everyone in town, she had a fairly normal childhood. She lived with other children and a guardian who cared for her. She always wondered about her parents and she was very young when learned of her mother. Her mother had every intention of keeping her child, even though Emi's father was apparently nowhere to be found, but died from complications of childbirth and Emi was handed over to the orphanage. Emi was understanably sad, but she was only a child and it wasn't long before she was back to her old self. She loved collecting butterflies and had a real talent for the piano even at a very young age. She met and befriended Ienzo, now known as Zexion, and they were inseperable until, in a fit of anger, she turned on him. The two weren't allowed to play together after that and Emi wouldn't see him again until years later...
She was seven years old when Radiant Garden was destroyed and Emi found herself in Twilight Town. For seven years, things were great. She adjusted to her new home well and lived with a loving elderly couple who paid for her private school education and piano lessons. She still got into fights and had a hard time making friends because of her attitude, but it wasn't until she was fourteen that things began to spiral out of control very quickly. She met and became involved with a much older man named Kei. She craved the attention he gave her and was so afraid of losing it that she took up his way of life. In a year she went from a troublemaking but content eighth grader to something completely different. She got into alcohol first, but abandoned it quickly in favor of drugs. Kei taught her how to turn her pent up anger in on herself by cutting herself, mostly in an attempt to keep her from causing trouble for him. She dropped out of school in her freshman year of high school, stopped going to piano lessons and eventually moved out of her house and in with Kei and his girlfriend.
After two years, however, she woke up and decided she'd had enough. She hated herself for what she'd become. She sold what she could and got enough money to assemble a gummi ship, which she figured was about the only way to get out of Twilight Town. She left in the middle of the night without telling anyone and what followed was weeks of painful withdrawals and wandering. She ran into her old friend Ienzo, who was now the Nobody known as Zexion, by chance one evening in Traverse Town. She didn't really remember him as her memories from childhood were blurry. She ran into him again in Beast's Castle and when she realized who it was, she begged him to take her back to Radiant Garden. She'd been searching for her home all along but had forgotten the way. In the process of trying to persuade him, she was defended by somebody else she'd run into at Beast's Castle: Arc, who hit Zexion for acting the way he did. Emi followed Zexion through a corridor of darkness and into The World that Never Was, where after some reminiscing she was able to convince him to take her home. She found out that she too could use these corridors, and Zexion helped her learn to control them.
Now, she is travelling the worlds again... looking for closure, and looking for home.

Due to the very subjective nature of Emi's heart, when she enters a state of blind rage her Final Form transformation is triggered. Speed is increased x2, strength is increased x2. If her Broken Silverdrop ability was not used previous to the transformation, she is impervious damage from weak abilities and attacks and damage from moderate abilities and attacks is halved. Any weak attacks or abilities will simply bounce off an invisible shield that surrounds her. She is still susceptible to damage from strong abilities and attacks. If Broken Silverdrop was used, damage from weak abilities is halved and she is still susceptible to damage from up to strong weak attacks and abilities. Regardless, she is not affected by status effects, although status effects from before don't go away. In addition to an increase in her stats, she goes through a physical transformation. Her clothes turn completely black and, similarly to Sephiroth, she has black wings- two instead one. She attacks normally although with increased speed and strength- the wings seem to be merely decoration. The downside to this ability is that all other active abilities are powered down and on transforming back to her normal form, she will always lose consciousness for a few minutes. The transformation lasts for 2 posts, and it happens randomly when she becomes intensely angry- but not every time.
Range: The shield extends about a foot in any direction.
Speed: Transformation happens instantly, and Emi reverts to normal instantly when it deactivates.
Cooldown: No cool-down period; only able to use once per thread
Uses: Once per thread.

Furthermore, she cannot use [Metalmark] or [Xerces Blue+] while she is using her keyblade because they are linked to her kali sticks.

She has been this way since childhood and has been known to get into fights and put holes in walls. She also has a tendency to be very sarcastic. She's not apologetic in the least bit, and hates admitting defeat.

Once she has befriended you, she will go out of her way to make sure you are safe and happy, even if it means sacrificing her own safety and happiness. But if you are not her friend, or God forbid, her enemy... watch out because she doesn't give second chances and will hold a grudge forever. Emi is incredibly stubborn and once she gets something into her mind, its incredibly difficult to get her to let go of it. She will go after something with all of her strength and will not give up until she runs out of options. And if she runs out of options she'll just start beating things.
