Leave? Saïx, if he could have been, would be irritated in the extreme right now. This was even more pointless than he had originally thought. "Absolutely worthless. I have more important things to do."He disappeared straight after Axel. ____________________ Lethe and Kyza sensed the Champion's anger, then sensed their master leaving. Well, that was that. They left. At the same time, Shisou left, annoyed with the Champion. ____________________ Aixfeur disappeared as the others disappeared, taking it as an order.

I'm Fine, Just Give Me a Second... It was his funeral was it? Hmph. "Good luck with that." Like he would ever lose to a loser like this. It anyone was going to die it would be him. Not that Loz actually cared about killing him very much. Beating this jerk and winning the fight was all he was really interested in. Loz continued blocking the chain of attacks without much trouble; there was no doubt that he was the faster of the two. When the man swung the blade up and it began shining even brighter with energy, he was also able to easily to defend against the attack that followed. As it stopped the blow though, a hole was somehow put in his Dual Hound. Before he had a chance to angrily say anything about it, there was suddenly an explosion out of nowhere. Caught off guard, Loz was sent flying back several feet into the snow. He groaned, laying there for the moment, a bit stunned and the breath knocked out of him.

You're Lucky I Can't Move My Arms Right Now The attack connected...sort of. Loz tried to block it, and in doing so probably broke his other gauntlet while at the same time getting blasted back by the release of energy. Leon, meanwhile, taking the full brunt of the recoil, couldn't even move his arms for the moment. " Well, crap." He managed to grunt out, absolutely loathing that he acted out such a stupid idea. When he could at last move his arms, he relaxed his arms, letting his gunblade dig into the ground. Alright, now this was just getting stupid. They were going to end up killing themselves before they killed each other. Crap. He hated doing this. " How about we call this one a draw, and settle it later?"

Not Giving Up That Easily Still on the ground, Loz leaned up to face his opponent. Was he serious? A draw? Yeah right! "What's the matter, tired already?" It sure seemed that way; the man wasn't even holding his sword anymore. Moments ago he had announcing that he was going to kill the remnant. If he was trying to end the fight now, it must mean that he wouldn't be able to continue fighting much longer. Which meant that victory wasn't far away. Why quit now? He jumped up onto his feet, grinning. "Nah, I think I'd rather just settle this now." True, he was pretty tired himself, but not too much so to not want to keep going. Their last fight had ended in a draw (though only because Kadaj had made that decision) and this time there was going to be a winner. And that winner was going to be Loz. Taking advantage of the fact that the enemy wasn't holding his weapon, he ran in closer, firing a long string of bullets at him, and readjusting his aim as necessary if the man tried to dodge. With his Dual Hound sorta broken, he decided to rely on shooting for now. Since this guy's specialty was apparently more close range, this would be better anyway.

Why'd I Even Bother... Oh well, he tried. Leon made a mental note to not smack-talk in the middle of a fight with this guy. Clearly, he was too stupid to see the pointlessness of a fight that would more likely than not kill them both. Or at least knock them both out. " Whatever you say..." He muttered. Pulling his sword up, he raised it to block the first barrage of bullets before running out of the way of the rest of them. A few managed to scrape his arm, and another pierced his forearm, but even then they weren't as bad as the last ones. Finding a short break in Loz's barrage, Leon reared back and swung his gunblade, throwing a wave of fire out, as well as firing off a fireball through the blaze. Hopefully it would cloak it enough that the idiot wouldn't notice. [ Leon used Fated Circle and Fire, three and two posts until next use] --- Oh, darn. Everyone that wasn't already fighting had left. Luxord couldn't help but sigh in disappointment, even if the disappointment itself wasn't real. Well, there really wasn't any reason to stay here, now was there? " Well, Zexion, wherever you are, you certainly know how to throw a party. Maybe next time the guests will stay." And with that, the gambler left the wasteland behind for the oasis and patrons of the bar.

More Fire? It beginning to prove somewhat effective, Loz would have continued the assault with his Velvet Knightmare were it not interrupted by the oncoming of another giant wall of fire. "This again." Well too bad an attack never worked quite as well the second time around. Plus this time he further away, and so had more room to dodge. In a burst of speed, he flew to the the side, avoiding all of the flames by a few feet. He then rushed towards the man, shooting as he approached. Reaching him, he leaped forward in a kick aimed at the chest, with a few shots immediately following. "Bang, bang, bang!"

Know What's More Manly Idiotic Than Using the Same Move Over and Over? Jumping? Who the hell jumps to close the distance? Not only does that make everything you do ridiculously readable, but it also leaves you so--" Why do I even bother?" Leon wasn't surprised that Loz had gotten out of the way, nor that the idiot kept shooting while running towards him. But what really made him question this man's intelligence was that he jumped, still firing his gun in the same direction. That made both blocking, and disarming the man very easy. Having blocked all of the bullets with the flat of his blade (at least, the one's that got near him), Leon quickly sidestepped just as Loz's feet were about to connect, and swung upwards, aiming to knock the gun out of his opponent's hand with one well-placed swing.

Violence is always necessary. [Fate: I changed my last Zexion post so he's not with Sora-- just wanted to make that clear] --
Cloud had, of course, defended himself against the blow. Come on, couldn't he surprise him here? Well, he couldn't, but Raen and his little friend there sure could. Before he could jump and attack Raen again, said friend of his sent balls of light at him. One of them was far larger than the other, that one not being the one he managed to avoid. It hit him and sent him flying to land on top of more snow-- light based attack on almost pure darkness tended to hurt. He landed hastily on his feet, glaring at her harshly before switching his gaze to Raen. He called dibs first on the silver-haired remnant; it was only fair that they fought.
So, with a grin, he jumped straight for the ice-user for an offensive attack. If Loz finished up his little fight anytime soon, maybe he would have fun with this one too. It wouldn't matter if he was in his natural element or not-- the remnants could surely deal with a little ice and cold.
--
It looked like most of the Organization had left, and for good reason. There was nothing left for them here except to watch the violence continue and then eventually end. Lexaeus and him were the only ones watching now, neither of them truly able to do anything. Sora had to fight this battle for himself. The Schemer could easily interfere with it, but that wasn't something he wanted to do. He was going to stay right in this spot and document the happenings.
"There's not much else we can do here," he told Lexaeus, "Interfering with Sora's fight would be pointless. There's no question about whether or not he can handle it." He opened the Lexicon after he finished talking, taking a pen in his hand and beginning to write. He needed to do something.

Sephiroth smirked, blocking Sora's and Riku's attacks easily. He looked around, noticed a great darkness leaving. Jumping backward, he said, "Well then, since it appears the one who summoned me here has left, I must bid you farewell. I'll allow you to decide what that means for yourselves. After all, you aren't children anymore." Feathers and darkness whipped through the air, and Sephiroth was gone.
Riku released a breath he hadn't realized he had been holding and turned to Sora. "Now, let's find Kairi." Way to the Dawn disappeared as he spun around, looking all over. Except, there was something else. A...a copy...it has to be, he thought. Redrawing his keyblade, Riku blocked for Sora as the clone struck. "You aren't the King!" he shouted, attacking it back.
At the same time, Ava was continuing to fight Cloud. He started for a moment when Kadaj came, but soon got right back into the fight. But Cloud didn't even send an attack back at him. Kadaj had distracted him sufficiently. "Come on, I'll stop taking it so easy if you at least attack back at me." Ava spun his blades around in circles. He just would make sure not to injure Cloud. Maybe he could...with the chaos...hrm...
Admin note: Ava color whoops.

Kairi...
Even as he fought with Sephiroth, putting all of his concentration into getting a hit in (though they were all blocked), Sora was filled with unease. No, it was more like a strong anxiety, a feeling that gripped him on the inside like a claw. He was worried about Kairi, very worried, but this...
Suddenly, the snow storm cleared. As it did, Sephiroth quickly dismissed himself and vanished, but not without speaking a few words that, to Sora, were an open confession that he was here because of the Champion. Did that mean they really were working together?
After scowling at the place Sephiroth had been, he turned to Riku, who suggested they continue searching for Kairi.
"Right," he agreed with a nod. He was very anxious to find her, and that foreboding feeling hadn't gone away.
He watched Riku's weapon disappear, but then reappear suddenly. Before he had time to react, an attack was being blocked, and the attacker...
Sora's eyes went wide. The King?! However, it only took him a second to realize the truth. This was a copy, a creature of evil. Anger boiled up inside him. How dare this monster run around looking like the King!
With an angry growl, he dashed at the copy. However, before he could get very far, a vortex of water appeared as if from nowhere, spinning through the area between them. Sora skidded to a halt to avoid being caught up in it.
Suddenly, he got an idea. The vortex was very close to him, but so was the false King. As it tried to attack him again, he brought his foot up, drove it into the center of the doppelganger's chest, and sent the enemy flying straight back into the tornado, where it was promptly swept up by the rushing water.
"Take that, you fake!" he shouted after it.

Having Brown Hair? Although Loz didn't really jump to "close the distance", but rather jumped once he had basically already reached his target (something which he thought had been worded fairly clearly), the man still managed to deflect the bullets and sidestep the kick. Immediately following, he attacked upwards in attempt to disarm the remnant. Foreseeing the attack, Loz blocked it, keeping hold of his Velvet Knightmare. At the same time, with his free hand, something his opponent's two-handed sword didn't provide for him, he swung a punch at the man's face. It occurred to him, having just had the same thing tried against him, that what he needed to do was disarm his enemy. Without that fancy word of his beating him would be easy. Hand to hand combat was something Loz liked better than using a gunblade anyway.

Destroy that thing. Please. -------- Lanying's attack connected with Kadaj, and she smirked a little. It was not nearly enough payback for what he had tried to do to her homeworld, but it would do for now.
A weird half-screech, half-yelp drew her attention away from the remnant. The shadow of the King was caught in the watery tornado, spinning madly, limbs flailing everywhere. If it wasn't such a sick sight to begin with, it would be almost comical.
She got an idea. A particularly brilliant idea.
"Raen! Ice! Now!" Catching his attention, she indicated the massive cyclone.

No Rest For The Wicked Raen grinned viciously. Lanying's attack seemed to have hurt Kadaj quite a bit. Well, it was time for Kadaj to see just how much the two of them improved! "I'll wait to show him MY darkness. Won't that surprise him." Running towards Kadaj, Raen quickly swung his sword upwards, flinging snow in remnant's face. Following up that, he stabbed at various parts of Kadaj's torso, making it a point to pull his sword back before he could be disarmed. However, while he was locking blades with Kadaj, Raen heard Lanying shout his name, and turned his attention to the massive waterspout. He could see the shade of the King trapped inside, and he understood Lanying's words perfectly. " Got it!" Disengaging Kadaj with a well placed blast of icy air, Raen began sending blades of ice that quickly froze the waterspout, and watched as the King was pummeled inside by huge chunks of ice. He doubted that anything under the sun could survive that barrage. [ Raen used Winter's Lament and Ice Beast, three posts until their next use] --- While Leon wasn't exactly sure what the hell the remnant was doing, he suddenly came back to earth when he felt his fist on his face. Alright, this was going to end right now. Their fight had gone on long enough. Leon ran his hand along the side of his gunblade, covering it in that familiar multicolored light. He began slashing at Loz in a frenzy, making every attempt to eliminate the remnant. [ Leon used Blasting Zone, no uses remaining]

Teamwork . The King… was dead? The words from the girl sunk on Elrick like a brick on water. That explained why this… aberration gave him such a bad vibe. And why everyone had gathered at this place. They weren’t here to simply take down forces of darkness or whatnot, they were here to exact revenge on the one who had killed him. Not that that thought made moving any easier now. The thought alone that such a large exponent in the Light side had fallen was staggering. It was a good thing for Elrick not to have formed any grudges against anyone on site, or he’d have become a sitting duck. For a couple of minutes he simply stood there on the snow, watching all the fighting around him. Those he had landed close to engaged someone, not before the girl had thrown water into the Garudyne tornado. She caught on quick. The kid that was being attacked by the doppelganger seemed also smart enough, kicking it into the cyclone and trapping him in there, which was immediately followed by the girl’s companion freezing it, encasing the monstrosity in ice. Elrick looked as the combined efforts had dealt with the threat so easily. Certainly something that nobody else around had managed to do. “You foul creature will never see the light of day again,” he whispered as he took a couple of steps towards the frozen death trap, drawing his sword forward. Green tinted energy started to surround the blade, and with a with a quick slash forward he sent a slash flying towards it, hitting the ice structure in the middle, right where the copy of Mickey had been trapped. The slash went through the structure diagonally as if it were paper, making a clean cut through it, and the dark monster. The top part of the frozen tornado slid to the side and fell to the ground, with the top half of the copy in it, and it’s lower half still encased in the lower section of the tornado. [Garudyne over. Three posts till next use. Garudyne Blade in effect. Two more posts of use available. Three more ranged slashes available.]

As the two halves separated, blood poured out, staining the ice. The darkness surrounding the copy also faded away, leaving them only with a body that looked exactly like Mickey... merely cut in half. It did not fade nor change into some other form, simply staying there.
Lexaeus shook his head. "Pointless and shortsighted." It was difficult to tell what he was referring to. He almost felt anger at the swiftness of the Organization's flight. Even without the Champion, the forces that had answered his call should be beaten down rather than allowed to escape and return to his call once more some other time. It seemed the last vestige of the Champion's power had been destroyed, but he had no approval for the actions of the Organization.
Especially considering it was not as if the Champion might not return to surprise them all. But now...
"I require time to think." Lexaeus said, looking away from Zexion. "A lot of time to think." And he vanished as the Corridor swirled up around him.
