Let’s get the basics down first.
Name: Viola Hart Nicknames: Captain Age: 23 Gender: Female Race: Human Homeworld: Traverse Town Alliance: Shadow
You’re just a puppet aren’t you? Played By: Nothingness Age: 19 Gender: Male Contact: PM Audition Link: N/A Other:
So tell me a little bit about yourself.
Physical Aspects: Standing in at about 5'9" and sporting a thin frame, she looks more ready to blow away in a strong gust of wind than pin down a person twice her size. Her light brown eyes are deceptively soft, as are the rest of her facial features. Thin eyebrows, long, wavy chestnut hair that drapes over her shoulders, and small nose and mouth all belie the harshness hidden behind them. She tucks her bangs behind her ears and has a small, thin scar on her left cheek. Her arms are quite clearly more muscle than anything else, and that fact is the same for the rest of her body.
For clothes, she wears a simple, light-purple tank top and skinny jeans with a beige cloth-belt, and mud-spattered white and purple tennis shoes. She sometimes ties the back of her hair up into a ponytail, as well as wears a gray spring jacket with a large Shield insignia patched onto the back, but that's only if she goes out on a mission or in public as she feels it fairly constricting. Viola occasionally will wear a fedora when she goes for a night out with other members of the Shield, but otherwise won't wear it.
Persona: - Façade: Despite Viola's physical appearance, her personality is one much more suited to the pirate ships of Port Royal. She's rarely afraid to speak her mind, and when she does one can expect a slew of insults and vulgarity that would would earn the respect of even the saltiest pirate. Completely unabashed of her sexuality, she considers herself (and proved herself on more than one occasion) to be more of a man then most of the men around her. She's more than well-aware that she's a woman, but as far as she's concerned that means absolutely nothing. Anyone who treats her as something that needs sheltering and protecting is in for a very rude awakening, indeed.
On first sight, most people won't believe that she's a leader of people, but they soon find themselves in their place. Her presence exudes a commanding air that gets people to listen to her, if only through her equally loud voice. In private company and among friends, she retains most of her vulgarity, though it's generally good-humored and she doesn't entirely intend to offend.
- Inner Mind: Anyone who expects to find some soft, gentle side of Viola would need to search long and hard to find anything even resembling that. However, despite her rather gruff personality, she does care for her allies. If only in a "If you die I'll come to Hell and kill you myself" kind of way. The slightest glimmer of weakness she shows is when comrades are killed, and it's only for the briefest of moments.
She tends to get frustrated very easily with those she works with, though she makes sure to set the records straight with them soon enough. While somewhat unaccustomed to not being the one in charge, she readily makes up for that by at least showing herself as the alpha-dog among the group. Her brashness is mostly a result of being raised in a very strict household, and the rebellion she reveled in when she found the chances.
Also prone to silent reflection, it's not surprising to find her staring empty-eyed at something or zoning out. When she finds herself like this, it's fairly hard to snap her out of it, and most people prefer not to, anyway, though she knows they find it off-putting.

Stand up and fight.
Weapon(s): Wielding her father's sword, a zweihänder(top sword) named Doppelgänger, Viola makes sure to cut down anything that stands in her way. A rough, uncut Earth Crystal makes up the pommel of the blade, and glows in a harsh light whenever she uses her element. Its name derives from the ability it gives its wielder: to summon a stone golem that protects the owner. Unlike most weaponry owned by members of the Shield, this sword didn't have the crystal set into it, but was instead found with it already grafted onto it.
ABILITIES SECTION:
Captain's Orders Having the heart of a true leader, Viola's words can boost the abilities those fighting with her, and awaken their fighting spirit. What’s your story?
Viola grew up in a very strict household defined by rules and punishment for the breaking of those rules. That's not to say that her childhood wasn't enjoyable, because it was. Her home life was simply more in line with that of being in the military than that of a normal life. It actually became more like a game to her to see how often she could break the rules and not get caught, much to the amusement of her father who preferred to encouraged that behavior. Her personal motto of, "Rules are meant to protect those to stupid to not break them" got her into trouble in both school and life frequently, but that never stopped her from abiding by it.
The reason for all of the rules and regulations was that her father was something of a military man. When she was younger, her father met a young teen named Leon, who told him the story of how his world had been destroyed by the Heartless and how he was doing his best to protect this world from the threat. Inspired by the teenager's story, and feeling the need to protect those he held dear, he began to organize willing participants, and formed a town watch that began to call themselves the Traverse Town Shield. Originally formed to simply protect the world from Heartless, it soon began to act as a de facto keeper of the peace. And in both senses, it was highly successful; protecting the world from threats both Heartless and human in nature, and not letting its power get to their collective heads.
However, the year after Viola graduated from High School, her father fell ill and died. Not on a sickbed, but by breaking out of the hospital to fight off the Heartless before suffering a fatal heart attack from the sheer stress of it. Her mother having died of disease, as well, when she was young, Viola found herself alone, but soon took up the gauntlet of commanding the Shield and took them as a sort of second family to her. She managed to keep them together, despite the initial turbulence of many members having misgivings about such a young woman leading them.
It didn't take long for her to earn the respect of her comrades, though, and began to lead them in earnest with just as much strength as her father had. And despite the eventual disbanding of the group years later as the question of the balance came into play, she still strove to keep the Shield going. And two months after she sent out three members--Raegan, Jack, and Richard--to discover all they could about the balance, their numbers have since more than quadrupled, starting from a miserly 20, to now having close to 90 members. Though the Shield lacks the manpower it once had, Viola's making sure that it's well on the way to returning to its former glory.
It all comes down to this: make your choice.
You are presented with three weapons: a sword, a staff, and a shield. The sword represents the power of the warrior; invincible courage comes with this weapon as well as horrible destruction. The staff represents the power of the mystic; inner strength comes with this weapon as well as wonder and ruin. The shield represents the power of the guardian; kindness to aid friends comes with this weapon as well as a shield that will repel all.
Which one will you choose?
Chosen Weapon: Viola takes up the Sword without hesitation.
Offensive Specialty This ability symbolizes the might of the Sword, increasing the strength of all Weak physical offensive abilities by 1.5x damage.
Range: N/A Speed: N/A Cooldown: N/A Uses: Passive Strength: Weak

Well, aside from the back that TRAVERSE TOWN DID NOT EXIST 23 YEARS AGO (but let's not even get started with thaaat conspiracy again), everything looks pretty much okay here.
I am probably going to end up picturing Viola as Amanda Bynes now, though...
