But real men have awesome swords!... Well I tried. --
So Gilgamesh could fight without his swords, great. Kadaj was sent flying as he was hit in the diaphragm and face, landing on his feet and skidding. That was the remnant's one weakness, not being able to really do much without his sword aside from move really fast. He glared at Gilgamesh, who was daring him to come closer with those two swords of his. How dare he mock him by calling him the dirt beneath the dirt beneath his boot! He was more than that!
Darkness went straight into his sword again as his anger flared. It was probably incredibly stupid and impulsive of him to do nothing else but jump straight at those swords and try to behead Gilgamesh. It was possible, right? Sure, the odds were just fantastic here.
[Kadaj used Shadow Blade, will remain in effect for two more posts. Three posts until next use, two uses remaining]

I'll go easy on you--TWO ARMS LESS! What!? No! His powers had returned to normal! And he'd lost two of his arms and swords! Well...technically only one sword since the Buster Sword faded back into the Rift and it was already disarmed. Losing Brotherhood wasn't that bad either, but still! Now the odds were slightly better in the swordsman's favor by about one-percent! Still, he could turn this into a good thing. He further taunted Kadaj, covering up his loss. " I'll make it easier on you, knave! Now you shall only become seven pieces instead of nine!" Smooth as always. Now to block the swordsman's attack in a grand fashion! As Kadaj was coming down on Gilgamesh, he ran underneath him and brought all six blades overhead, blocking the attack. And with a massive heave, swung all of his sword's outward in an attempt to throw Kadaj up and away into the air.

Wee, I'm flying! --
Even better. Two of Gilgamesh's arms just disappeared, which meant it would be even easier for him to be taken down. He wouldn't become seven pieces, no way. Kadaj was far too arrogant to think he'd lose this match, even if Gilgamesh was three feet taller than him and had more swords. There had to be a way to win this, and Kadaj would find it.
Or he'd be sent flying by Gilgamesh blocking his attack and then throwing him. And now he was being sent into the wall. Yay! And it hurt too. That part sucked. He landed back on his feet on the ground, looking up at Gilgamesh. "I'm still in one piece," he told him. Maybe he should aim lower this time, not jump up. That was stupid. He dragged the Souba along the ground as he ran, flames springing up as he went for Gilgamesh's knees. This would likely prove to not be successful, but he would rather not be flung into a wall again.

Victory is NOOOOOO! Gilgamesh laughed as he watched Kadaj fly through the air and land. The swordsman was a skilled acrobat, indeed, but this was a battle--not some gymnastics competition! Although Gilgamesh figured that, should he ever enter a gymnastics competition, that his four extra arms would indeed help. Readying himself for Kadaj's incoming attack, Gilgamesh swung his blades upwards, hoping to catch Kadaj before the swordsman could get him. " Fall before me!" He cried, watching as his blade sliced clean through Kadaj's head. Sending all six of his swords back to the Rift, he failed to notice that, although his blade went through Kadaj, no mark was left on his opponent. Not only that, but Kadaj's blade had gone through his knees and left no mark on him, either. " You fought well, but as I said, my skill was superior. I shall be taking your sword nowwwwWWHAT!?" He shouted the last part, not caring so much that his body was becoming translucent, but more rather that Kadaj was still alive. " This can't be happening again! Not now! NOT WHEN I'M SO CLOSE TO OBTAINING A SWORD!" He gripped his head and shook it vigorously. He couldn't believe that the Rift was taking him back now, of all times! Still, he had a reputation to keep up. Letting go of his head, he puffed out his chest and jabbed a finger at Kadaj, shouting at the top of his lungs, " It seems we are not destined to be enemies, my friend! We shall fight alongside one another when next we meet! BUT REMEMBER! YOU SWORD SHALL BE MINE! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!" His laugh echoed throughout the arena as his body slowly vanished, returning to the eternal depths of the Void.

VICTORY. VICTORY FOR ZIM KADAJ! --
Gilgamesh moved to counter, using one of his blades to slice straight through Kadaj's head! Kadaj almost stopped in his tracks, the Souba still going through... wait, through Gilgamesh's knee. He just had a sword go through his head and didn't feel it one bit, and then this! He gave Gilgamesh a stunned look. Wait, was he doing this so he could get his sword?! No. No way in hell. Well, that's not what was happening anyway. He was vanishing, being transported to... somewhere else.
Kadaj could only sneer at him now. "Looks like I win then, since you didn't get my sword and all." He was vanishing as this was said of course. Gilgamesh seemed sure that they weren't "destined" to be enemies but they were going to fight alongside each other if they ever saw each other again. Right. Yeah. That was going to so happen. Though, and now that Gilgamesh was gone, he could admit that he probably would have gotten his ass kicked if the other didn't start disappearing. It'd be better to not fight against him.
But someday, he'd surpass him. Hopefully. He better anyway. But now it was time to go back home, wherever that was, and figure out what the hell to do next.
