Hey my names soulgirl444 and i saw the page for this on deviantart. I rp sometimes but I don't know how all these threads work, do I just join one after I make a character or do I have to ask? Its kind of confusing but if someone could explain i'd be really really happy

srry about my grammar, the last site i was on got all angry cause they said they couldn't read what i was saying. I've been working on it a lot and i'd really like to join, i'm going to make a character and get my older sister to help me out with spelling so that everything makes sense

Welcome to the forum Soulgirl! Here, I'll explain the process to you. What you do first is you create a character. Once your character is posted in the Final Draft section of the forum, you can RP. However, you cannot use any abilities until your profile has been approved by one of the moderators (The Plot Thickens, me, Lagunamov, or Nothingness) and moved to the Perfected Drafts section of the board.

As for how threads work, I will quote the section on threads from the In-Character Rules.

[8] There is a large difference between Open and Closed threads. Open threads either say nothing in the title, or say [Open]. Open threads you may enter at any time, should you wish.

Closed threads are closed, not to be entered without permission. If the thread says [Closed], then it is invite-only. You need permission from either the acting admin(s) or the people in the thread; if you intent harm, then you need permission from the members of the thread as well. The other varieties of closed threads, also equally inaccessible without cause, are as follows: group threads, such as [Organization XIII] or [RGRC]; specific only, such as [Zexion] or [Jericho, Nadia]. Some might put closed in the title as well, or they may not--[Zexion] or [Zexion/Closed]. Regardless, you need permission to enter said threads.

Basically, what that means, is that once you create a character, you can either post a thread that's open so others can join, or you can post a thread in the RP Requests section. If you do the second option, then you can get particular people to have a thread with you. Once you post the thread, make sure to put a date in the first post of when it is; to know where we are time-wise, you can consult the site's timeline.

Oh, and don't hesitate to ask for help on your grammar here. We generally just try to help each other out with posts and if things need to be fixed.
