Where is this place? It was nice day in the dwarf wilderness, the sun peeking through the trees lending a fairy tale like feel to the place around. It was much different then the valley he had grown up in and the first time he had felt such a warm light from the sun. As he walked around he avoided the Dwarves nervously and paid careful attention to mountain side leading to a mine shaft. It was pretty clear that the dwarves were miners of some sort, however he did not want to suddenly go speak to them for many reasons including fear. After a time he hid in the brush as all seven of the dwarfs past him by, and hid still to avoid contact. Eien, part of the moogle race was familiar with mythical races as part of his classes he had taken at Hidden Valley, his home for all these years. His puffy 2'5 figure walked rather swiftly through the wood, passing a house on the way but smartly kept going on his way. As he reached the flowing meadow before him his eyes sparkled with delight, and his bat-wings stretched out from behind him as he jumped to it with a flutter. He could not fly but her could still use his wings to some extent. The sun felt great enough for him to forget his surroundings and even his home for a time which probably was for the best. "Tis must be a land of light, Kupo~" he stated, as he let himself float down a hill and laid down on soft grass. "My-Mysterous is that glowy thing in sky, no mist around and freedom, Kupo~" The moogle soon fell asleep under the sun for the first time since his birth, completely ignorant of the workings of the many worlds that stretched across the never-ending space between.

I'm Only Gonna Rest My Eyes
Even though he was heading home, happy thoughts were not anywhere remotely near Mickey's mind. Too much was at stake, too much could go wrong. Too much was already going wrong. What was he thinking, going back to the castle while there were so many things to do? So many answers to get, riddles to solve... It was overwhelming.
That's it. He needed to land this Gummi Ship right now. In this state of mind, he was liable to crash into another passing ship. Or a meteor or something. He couldn't afford to be laid up in a bed somewhere with severe injuries--or worse, dead--when so many people were counting on him to protect them.
There. A world came into view, one part woodlands, one part mountains, and one part meadows. It looked calm enough. He would just need a few minutes, maybe an hour, to get a grip again. At this rate, he was going to end up covered in wrinkles from all the worrying he was doing. A place to quiet his buzzing mind would be welcome.
He landed without any difficulties in the expansive meadow and lowered the ship's ramp. Out of habit, while he stepped off, he was alert for any potential threats, but the chirping of birds and the scent of flowers quickly relaxed his senses. No Heartless appeared. No Organization members were in sight. No Champion waited for him. Mickey exhaled a tired sigh of relief. The weight of the Keyblade had never felt so heavy as it had for the past few days.
Moving away from his ship, and out into the open, the king soon noticed a tiny lump of fur resting in the grass. Moogles were a common sight, of course, but seeing one outside the context of a shop was strange. Even more strange was the fact that it was asleep. Mickey supposed that moogles needed sleep, but he had never actually seen one in that state. He didn't want to wake the peaceful creature, so instead he picked out his own patch of grass nearby and flopped down onto his back.
It wasn't long at all before his eyelids drooped and closed.

Tis a mouse, Kupo~ The sun beat down on the moogle as he slept, it was no wonder that in his dream it was hot or maybe it was a nightmare instead. The fire filled dream blazed. After a hour or so, he started tossing and turning on the soft grass and due to the incline of the hill he was on his soft body rolled down like a toy ball. His eyes opened when he stopped, it was still daytime but moogles really only needed about a hours sleep to be well rested. Eien pulled himself up and looked around in much confusion. He had no idea where he was, did he sleep walk again? The last time he sleep walked he ended up stuck in Hidden Valley's north well for almost a day and now he was on a grassy field. Wait-- Grass, he just realized that this was the first time he seen grass before, he then looked up to see the sun and flinched at the bright sun. The grass was really soft on his feet, he did not know where he was but clearly he wasn't in Hidden Valley anymore."Eien has sleepwalked to the land of light and grass, Kupo~" he said rather silly before noticing that a Mouse bigger then he was was sleeping right next to him, a fellow sleepwalker perhaps. His eyes blinked as he tried to recall what he was looking at from his class work. "Tis a mouse, Kupo~" With a few light steps he walked over to the sleeping mouse, and smiled at the cute sight. As he was about to walk away quietly he saw King Mickey's tail, in response his bat-wings stretched out with a flail and his pom-pom on top of his head shook. Without thinking any further he bites King Mickey's tail!

I knew I shouldn't have left Dog. Perhaps taking a walk in the woods was not the best idea.
Dog was busy doing a job in another world. It would probably take him a while, so Jericho had decided to quickly look at the worlds surrounding it. This world was low on his priorities- it just wasn't interesting enough. All the adorable woodland creatures got on his nerves, though. Maybe he'd set the forest on fire before leaving.
While walking, he came across a small section of woods that contained a moogle (that was odd. A solitary moogle in the middle of nowhere?) and...was that..Oh, good.
Some sort of bipedal mouse...thing sleeping. Aw, they were both sleeping. How cute.
Suddenly, the moogle up and bit the mouse's tail. Um. Okay. That was...okay.
"Oh," said Jericho, extremely dismayed at the level of adorable wackiness present. "It's going to be one of those days."
He sat down against a tree across from the two and lit a cigarette. Depending on the amount of wackiness he saw in the next few minutes, he'd either finish the cigarette or use it to start a huge forest fire.
Of course, the mouse might be intelligent. Just in case, he sifted through his masks and went with a kind if exhausted one.

I Didn't Think Moogles Ate Tails
He had been having quite a nice dream.
Everyone was back at Disney Castle, including himself. They had all decided to have a picnic in the courtyard. The spread was extensive, all sorts of sandwiches, fruits, drinks, and desserts. The colors alone were pleasing. Goofy and Donald were attempting to play catch, but Goofy kept hitting Donald, who was distracted by the lovely Daisy, in the head with the ball, much to the Captain's amusement. Chip and Dale were munching on nuts and discussing the finer points of Gummi Ship repair. And Minnie, wonderful Minnie, was sitting next to him, cutting a slice of cake for herself.
Just when he was about to tell her how much she meant to him, pain jolted him from the dream-scape.
"Yeowch!" Something had sunk its teeth or claws into his poor tail, and he shot up, flipping backward in the air. By the time he landed, the Kingdom Key D was in his hand, ready to be used against whatever terrible creature of pure darkness had dared to attack his--
...A Moogle?
The king relaxed. Wait. That had to be the Moogle he had seen sleeping here. Why in the worlds had the thing bitten him? And while he was asleep, too?
"Golly, why'd ya do that? It hurt!"
He would have dismissed his Keyblade right away, but the smell of smoke drifted to him. His gaze traveled to the man leaning against a nearby tree, nonchalantly smoking a cigarette. He seemed content to watch the goings-on between Mickey and the Moogle for the moment and had that air about him that he would introduce himself only if he felt like it. But Mickey made sure the man knew he had been seen by giving him a brief nod. Then he returned his full focus to the little pink ball of fur.
"Well? Do ya make it a habit to go around chewin' on sleeping people?"

Confused little moogle... "Kupo?" Eien hopped back in shock that the mouse was so flexible to do flips in the air and more so that it was actually talking to him. He had lost track of what he was doing, where was he again, he didn't remember for the life of him. He stared innocently at the mouse, then at the key in his hand. Was he attacking him, why would anyone do that? Outsiders were scary people, wait- I'm outside Hidden Valley! His eyes turned to smoking man (Jericho LOL)and became rather surprised. What manner of beast was that, it was indeed very scary and breathed smoke from his mouth. Pretty tall, and wears clothing like the elder. He decided to call the persons race, Smoking Men. "I'm confused, Kupo~" he said, in reply to what Mickey said or maybe in monologue. "Eien's memory is not so good, is anything wrong? Kupo~"

Interesting weapon. Jericho examined the mouse's weapon curiously. He knew of the existence of Keyblades and their general appearance, but had never actually seen one. It was certainly less fearsome than old texts had made it out to be. Writers in the aware worlds were either hacks with a talent for extreme exaggeration or just hopelessly cryptic lunatics. It had been that way for as long as writing existed, and it never ceased to annoy him. Keyblades had been described as giving off ethereal light, holding the secret to all that once was and will ever be, having the power of all elements sealed within their metal, unlimited power, forged at the beginning of time by unknown forces, blah blah blah etc. and so on. It just looked like a big key to him. It was only a blunt weapon, certainly a metal baseball bat would suffice. However, he also remembered something that had kept popping up, something about the ability to unlock the hearts of men and of worlds. It was never made explicitly clear what that meant, but he had inferred that it was a very powerful and infinitely useful ability. The moogle was that sort of adorable type that was cute to some people and intensely irritating to others. Jericho was firmly seated in the latter group. He took a very long drag of the cigarette, blowing smoke lazily into the air. The thing obviously wasn't from an aware world- it acted a lot like a young child. "Nice weapon," Jericho said absently. "I thought Keyblades were sort of a human-exclusive thing."

What Odd Company--an Amnesiac Moogle and a Smoker
The moogle made no effort to hide its confusion, and Mickey took immediate pity on it. It was strange for a moogle to be alone, with no visible pack of goods or anything. From the way the creature spoke, was it possible it had amnesia? Or maybe it was just a very socially awkward moogle. It had just up and decided to bite him with no provocation on his part.
"Well, it's not really polite to bite people, y'know? Where are ya from, anyway?"
The man with the cigarette asked a question, obviously more interested in the Keyblade than whatever the heck was up with this moogle. The immediately made Mickey wary, but he was willing to answer. "The Keyblade can choose whoever it wants. Doesn't hafta be a human." He paused, then went ahead and asked a question of his own. "So, who're you?"

Keyblades are a bad omen, Kupo~ Eien didn't know what to make of the smoking man and the talk of keyblades, he once heard of such keys in class but it only went into theory. When he thought about them he often considered them to be master keys that can open any lock through sheer force of will, but it probably wasn't just limited to simple locks instead maybe it didn't unlock or lock anything at all- maybe it just had the power to open and close paths. When he thought of such things he easily got confused, none in his class ever really thought much about it. Running behind a tree, he nervously peeked his head out from behind it. "Keyblades respond to the strong will to find things that are lost or closed, maybe. Kupo~" he stated, not exactly sure himself. "Tis my thought that Keyblades only come to those that have doors to be opened or closed, Kupo~" Blinking a little, he wasn't actually sure about the topic as he never saw a keyblade before this day but it could be said that moogle lore was a powerful tool. He shook his head, and blushed a bit. "Sorry about biting you, Kupo~" he stated innocently while staying a safe distance away. "Tis just looked pretty tasty, but not like Kupo nut tasty, Kupo~"

This is a weird day. [/center] Jericho looked at Mickey. The mouse was far less annoying than the moogle, although it did have a slightly irritating voice. "My name is Alan Jericho," he said simply. "And yourself?"This was just a weird day. He was talking to a mouse with a Keyblade and trying to ignore the weirdest moogle in existence. However, the thing became annoying enough to the point where he couldn't brush it off, and he stared at it. He could almost pity the thing- it obviously didn't have any sort of clue about anything. "What are you doing out here? This doesn't seem like a place a moogle would be around."

Scary moogle eating mouse! Eien, The moogle slowly walked from behind the tree in a sort of waddle, his carefulness pretty apparent as he was ready to run behind the tree again. In his life he had never known nor met strangers before, every member of the valley knew one another and were extremely friendly. Inching closer he was ready for possible combat for whatever reason, he did however bite the mouse- would the mouse bite him back!? In his mind he thought up the event, just as he relaxed the mouse jumps on him and eats him in a single bite. NOOO! Is he going to eat me?! he thought as his eyes teared up. Despite the fact that King Mickey wasn't like his imagination made him out to be, he was pretty scared that he would be right. "Please don't eat me, Kupo~" he stated as he jumped to rather odd conclusions, as he closed his eyes. "M-My name is Eien, a moogle from..." He stopped flat, wasn't Hidden Valley a secret place. Yes, he must not tell them where he was from. So he decided to make a fictional place up from the top of his head. "..Um, Canada..." he spit out, surely a stupid sounding place wouldn't exist for real- it was fool proof.

So I Look Carnivorous Now?
Alan Jericho was a name unfamiliar to him, but that wasn't surprising. Even though he was a well-traveled king, that didn't mean Mickey knew every single person in the entire universe. "I'm Mickey," he replied simply.
Then Jericho addressed the moogle, who was now nervously coming out from hiding behind a tree. It thought Mickey was going to eat it, and the king couldn't help but let a puzzled look spread across his face. Did he look dangerous, aside from the Keyblade? He wasn't much larger than the moogle, after all. Usually, people found him cute or something.
Thinking of the Keyblade reminded him that he was still holding it. Perhaps that was what made the moogle so nervous. Mickey dismissed it in a flash of light and faced the moogle empty-handed.
"Well, hi there, Eien from Canada. Must be a world I've never heard of. And no, I'm not gonna eat ya."

Weird little thing, isn't it?
Canada? Canada...Canada... Jericho searched through the memories of books he had read. He often retained nearly all of the information he read for a long time, as wel as what he learned along his travels, so it was a lot like going through a big library. He was coming up with a lot of nothing- he vaguely remembered something about an ancient land of pacifists, quite far from any sun, that had been destroyed utterly in a matter of hours by a raider party, but that couldn't be right. No, he couldn't remember anything, so the moogle must have been from an incredibly distant place. But while he was recollecting information, he might as well try to understand who Mickey was. There weren't that many bipedal mice lying around...um...something about a royal line. He remembered reading something about a newborn son to inherit a place called Disney Castle's throne a while ago. He didn't know anything about Disney Castle, but suppose it was inhabited by anthropomorphic animals? Hmph. A king and a Keybearer. He was far more fascinating than the moogle, that was for sure. Perhaps, if he was who Jericho thought he was, he could have an interesting conversation. He took another drag on the cigarette. "Forgive me. Didn't know I was in the presence of royalty," Jericho said. It was a risky statement since his assumption was incredibly shaky at best, but it was something.

WAAAAAA!! The moogle relaxed a bit towards the mouse, and walked next to Mickey. His eyes still very wary of the smoking-man Alan, something about him he didn't trust but relaxed none the less. It was difficult to figure out where he was or what he was to do given his misdirection and now he was in a enchanted meadow with a mouse and a scary human. He really missed his home at this point and wondered if everyone was doing alright. Eien smiled shyly and waddled off to the side. He presently ignored his confusion to introduce himself, even if he was scared of strangers. "Who said I was from Canada, I'm from Hidden Valley, Kupo..." he said before covering his mouth, even though it was entirely his own fault he thought that it wasn't. "..Oh crap, you tricked me. I can't believe you fooled me, Kupo." "Summon Chocobo!" he stated placing his hands out in-front of him, in a flash of light a large bird appeared with yellow feathers- a mythical Chocobo. His eyes got all teary as he jumped on it's back. "Choco, they tricked me into telling them about the secret valley that is home to the moogle tribe, Kupo~" he totally said out loud for everyone to hear. XD

Farewells
This encounter was getting more bizarre by the second. First, the moogle denied that he was from Canada, instead asserting that he was actually from a place called Hidden Valley. Mickey still hadn't heard of that place, either, so the news wasn't all that shocking to him.
"What? We didn't trick you into doing anything."
Now, there was suddenly a giant yellow bird with them, and the moogle jumped up onto the creature's back. And he continued to babble on about this apparently secret valley that was home to more of the moogles. This particular one was not very good at keeping secrets.
Mickey shook his head. The weight of responsibility was beginning to press down upon him again. He couldn't afford to waste anymore time dawdling about here.
"Listen, I've gotta go. But good to meet ya," he said to both of them before heading for his Gummi Ship.
