Hope You Don't Mind Kadaj was sincerely confused now and Emi was lucky he was tipsy and in a good mood. If she had done that when he had been perfectly sober, Souba would have been quickly drawn and that would have been the end of that. For the moment, he was very confused. She had grabbed his face and licked it. A normal kiss on the cheek would have been okay for Kadaj and he would have been somewhat okay with that. Now he was just confused; was he really supposed to pass this on?
The girl was now slumped onto his shoulder while he had continued to hold her, not really sure what else to do. The look on his face was pure and utter shock, his eyes wide with astonishment. These wide eyes of his then traveled over to Aerith and Cloud once more, the blond dancing somewhat awkwardly. He grinned maniacally at this; oh it felt so good to be evil sometimes. He let go of the girl and traveled over to the two, that smirk still on his face.
"Hope you don't mind Cloud," he said, grabbing Aerith's hand with a light grip, "But it's my turn now." He then proceeded to take Aerith away from the muscular swordsman. He did not really care if Cloud minded or not; it was his turn to dance with this very nice girl who had promised a dance and the other girl had asked him to pass something on. It was sort of gross, but hopefully Aerith would still dance with him afterward. He decided to spin her around once to the music before very lightly licking her cheek. It lasted for less than a second, but even he was surprised he actually did that.
"She told me to pass them on," he said casually, pointing over to his previous dancer, "I don't really know what it is. Will you still dance with me?" There was a very slight pleading look in his eye. If she didn't dance with him, Cloud was undoubtedly going to kill him; he needed some sort of protection.

Dancing, Spinning, Dipping, and Licking? The man took Cheza's hand and introduced himself as Raen and lead her to the dance floor. He spun her around and dipped her. Raen sure did know how to dance. He asked what her name was. “My name is Cheza. Nice to meet you.” She said as she stood back up. She put her arms around his neck, a little shyly, and swayed to the music. She wasn't the best dancer, but she wasn't bad at following. She decided to just let Raen lead and that didn't seem like too much of a problem. Cheza spotted Emi and her partner on the dance floor just as Emi licked the poor man on the side of his face. She seemed to find much pleasure in this and collaspaed on his shoulder in giggles. It seemed that this was a sort of game because the silver-haired man went off and took the blond man's dance partner and licked her. Things sure were getting interesting fast. “Well, it looks like they are having fun. Cheza said as she pointed towards the licking group.

Never Been Kissed (Or...Licked?) Before Cloud could say anything in response to her comment, she felt a different hand take her own and pull her away from Cloud. It was Kadaj, but she had somewhat expected this to happen sooner or later. While she was slightly disappointed in having her moment with Cloud cut abruptly short, she didn't mind too much that it was because she had been "stolen" away. She rather liked being fought over, in a manner of speaking. She hoped Cloud wouldn't be too upset. After all, she had just promised Kadaj to dance with him once. It wasn't as if she had promised to follow him back to a hotel room later or something. There was absolutely no reason for Cloud to get-- What in the world?!Kadaj licked her cheek! His tongue had touched the skin of her face! Under normal circumstances, she would have immediately shoved him back in disgust. But it had only been a very brief moment of contact. And he did say he only did it because that drunk girl he had just been dancing with told him pass it on. Which apparently meant that he had been required to lick someone else. Looking around the club, she could see why she had been his choice. After all, he certainly wasn't going to lick Cloud. Though, either way, Kadaj might still get beaten to a pulp unless she did something and fast. Cloud had the habit of attacking first and asking questions later. "Of course, I'll still dance with you." She couldn't just leave him hanging, especially with that look in his eyes. At the moment, he almost looked a bit like a little child afraid of getting beaten up by the school bully. Not that Cloud was a bully, of course. But she knew he wasn't just going to stand by and happily watch Kadaj dance with her, much less lick her face. Aerith squeezed Kadaj's hand reassuringly, as if to say, "Don't worry. I won't let any fights break out." She then began to dance, hoping that Cloud wouldn't make too huge of a scene out of this.

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww." -- Emi abruptly stopped laughing when Kadaj let her go. She thought about following him, not wanting to give him up quite yet, but then he started dancing with the girl from before and passed it on. Despite the fact this had been per her instruction, Emi wasn't quite sure how she felt about this. She blinked slowly and sighed. Now she was alone. She wilted and stomped/stumbled back over to the bar. She had tried to look confident and yet angry but the drinks had kind of stolen the motor control needed to properly preform a confident walk. She sat down on a stool with her hands in her lap and smacked her forehead down onto the flat surface without so much as an "ow". " Well, that was a stupid idea," she muttered to herself. She sat up and rubbed her forehead. " What was I thinking? Stupid, stupid stupid."

Yuffie happily skipped down the roads of Traverse Town. They had been hard at work in Radiant Garden and she felt that a break and change of scenery would be good to have at this point. She continued along till a sign caught her eye. She stopped and read it aloud."Club Moogle Mix? Sounds fun!" she exclaimed and walked in.
As she entered she saw a few people were already here, some dancing. Though there was one person she recognized right away she wouldn't have expected to be here. "Cloud!" she exclaimed and waved. The blond spikey hair of his stuck out like a sore thumb no matter what. Then she hurried over towards him.
"Wow, I didn't expect to see you here! You come here often? Wait, is this place where you leave to all the time?" Yuffie was a bit hyper at the moment for some reason, maybe it was the club atmosphere. She continued chatting Cloud up, oblivious to Aerith and Kadaj dancing behind her.

Almost directly after the moment he did what he did, Kadaj started to grow fearful. It wasn't something he liked to show often, but his often changing emotions mixed with alcohol did not make matters any better for him. Cloud was going to kill him; there was no question about that now. He didn't even want to fight right now. Sure, any other day of the week he'd love to fight with Cloud, but not now.
His eyes started to water for a moment before Aerith answered him. He had been sure that she would have pushed him away when he did that, but she didn't. Instead, she told him that she would still dance with him and squeezed his hand to reassure him. How could anyone be that nice? It just didn't seem possible to Kadaj that anyone could be that nice, especially to someone like him; a remnant of Sephiroth never should be treated nicely lest you want to give them an opening to kill you. He smiled weakly back at Aerith, gaining a tiny bit of composure back.
"Thank you," he told her, his voice quiet. He took his other hand that wasn't being held to gently wipe off Aerith's cheek before placing it on her back, making it somewhat resemble a waltz position. Though, Kadaj really did have no idea what he was doing. Aerith probably knew better than he did at this point, though that didn't stop him from continuing to dance with her the best he could.
He glanced over at his other partner, who looked to be sort of sad that Kadaj up and left her for Aerith. She'd find another partner though, at least in time. Maybe she could dance with Cloud if he didn't proceed in trying to kill him. Though, that Yuffie girl was distracting him currently. That would work for now.

A Corridor of Darkness sounded in Traverse Town's first district, a singular Nobody coming through it with his hood up. Thankfully, no one seemed to be paying attention to the fact that an Organization member just entered the town; he would have a bit of trouble if he had been noticed. Zexion never particularly liked being noticed and he was determined to keep his title as the Organization's best sleuth intact. Though, what he was doing in a place like this remained questionable.
There was no agenda to meet for the Nobody this evening, no mission to complete or things to find out. Zexion found himself rather bored in the castle and decided to travel, seeing what he could possibly dig up in a world like this. It did not seem like much at all in this part of town, though there was that club over there. Familiar scents made themselves known to him, all of them coming from that building. The Schemer was never one to frequent a place such as this, though he supposed he might as well for the time being and investigate.
As soon as he entered the club, the smell of alcohol nearly overwhelmed him. There was a lot of it going around already it seemed. Zexion turned his head a couple of times toward other scents he could pick out, that being Raen, Emi and Cheza. There was also the stink of darkness in here, but he ignored it. Instead, he walked over to where Emi was sitting at the bar, slumped onto the table, and sat next to her.
"Is everything all right?" he asked. A Moogle approached him and asked him if he wanted anything, the Nobody merely shaking his head in reply. He was not a particular fan of loss of control nor did he like the smell of alcohol; that smell seemed to be coming from Emi as well, making him raise an eyebrow. Though, she could not see that under the hood, which he refused to take off at this point.

"*manic giggling*" -- She recognized his voice and knew who it was even before he took off the hood. " Nooooo!" she wailed, sounding for all the world like a pouting child. " I'm drunk, Zexy, and that girl over there didn't lick anyone." That sounded just as wrong in context as it did out of context. Emi sat up, scooted around in the stool and pointed at Aerith. Then, she dropped her hand and tried to turn again to face the bar but she ended up too close to the edge of the seat and fell off, almost taking Zexion down with her. She clung to the bar for support and began to laugh uncontrollably. " Ahhahah! HAHAHA! Man, I am so glad you're here," she gasped between gales of laughter. She stood up unsteadily and grabbed the front of Zexion's cloak. " You have to help me take out the moogles. All of them. We can put them in a bag." She tried to put on a serious face, but her lip wobbled and she collapsed into laughter again. " No, really I'm serious! We have to catch all the moogles and put them in a bag."

One Step Too Far Cloud didn’t say anything as Aerith grabbed his hands and put them around her waist, laughing at his dancing. He felt slightly embarrassed, and hoped he wasn’t blushing. She then proceeded to wrap her arms around her neck, coming even closer. Being this close to her, or anyone for that matter, wasn’t something he was used to. But he couldn’t pretend he wasn’t sort of enjoying himself; in a strange sort of way. Unfortunately, the mood was slightly broken when she informed him that she would be dancing with Kadaj later. He frowned at her, though his unhappiness was soon put to rest by her beginning to rub his neck. Still she just didn’t seem to get it. Kadaj was simply not a nice person, and he wished she would see that… He was about to say something, in attempt to convince Aerith to avoid the silver-haired nuisance, when he was suddenly interrupted by said nuisance. He glared over at him as one of his partners hands were surprisingly grabbed away from him, followed by the rest of her. Leaving a very angry Cloud all by himself, to contemplate whether or not to completely beat the lights out of Kadaj. What happened next, however, answered that question for itself. Answering it with a complete and definite "yes". Momentarily, Cloud's look of anger became one of pure shock. Had Kadaj actually just licked Aerith? What on earth was he thinking? He wasn't thinking obviously. Because if he was, he would have realized how very bad the decision he just made was. Hearing his name, he looked in front of him, realizing that Yuffie had appeared at some point. "Yuffie..." But it would take more than that to break him from from the state of anger he was in. Now ignoring the dark haired girl, he walked straight up to Kadaj, and without hesitation, punched him right in the face. He began to move forward, though if the remnant was lucky someone would stop him before he actually killed him.

Please Don't Hurt Me! His dance with Aerith didn't last too much longer. Cloud's footsteps were loud as he walked straight over to Kadaj and punched him in the face. Had he really gone too far? It's not like he intentionally hurt Aerith or anything; he was being nice of all things. Not in his usual fighting mode, the silver-haired man did not manage to dodge and got hit, the force sending him away from Aerith and onto the floor. He stayed there for a moment and looked up at Cloud. His lip was quivering a bit; this was exactly what he didn't want to happen.
"You didn't have to do that!" he yelled, his voice cracking at the end. He made a couple of steps back, noticing Cloud was moving forward. "I'm not here to fight you. Just..." He couldn't bother to finish and backed himself into a wall. Well, Cloud was not about to just stop; he was going to crush him for touching his girlfriend. The remnant closed his eyes and waited. He hadn't come here looking for a fight, honest!
--
Zexion couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at Emi; it was clear that she had far too much alcohol. She called him a nickname, one that sounded oddly like something else. The last thing he needed to have was have that be misconstrued in some way, shape or form. He only watched as Emi fell to the floor, ignoring anything else happening in the club. It did not seem to interest him that much anyhow; people fought wherever he went.
He shook his head to her request. "I am not helping you catch moogles," he told her sternly, "I do not see why you would want to do that to them. They are rather harmless creatures." He sighed, standing up from his stool while Emi continued to clutch at him. Carefully, he removed her hands from his person and put them at her sides. "I believe it would be best if you did not have anymore to drink." He eyed a moogle as he said that, making sure one of them heard her so she wouldn't be able to get anything else.
He just had to be the only sane person in the group; at least that was how he felt.

What One Will Do to Prevent Murder Even if Kadaj was only putting on an elaborate act, which Aerith highly doubted, he was displaying a sweet and even vulnerable side, and she began to believe more and more that maybe he was just misunderstood. She smiled appreciatively when he wiped her cheek clean, and then followed him in their dance. She did not get the same warm feeling from Kadaj as she got with Cloud, but she still enjoyed moving to the music with him. And it always brightened her mood to make people feel comfortable. "You're welcome," she replied to his softly spoken gratitude. Watching his face, she marveled at how different Kadaj was from Sephiroth. Surely, he wasn't nearly as ruthless as Cloud seemed to think Kadaj was. Of course, considering that all of them were on some level being affected by alcohol in their blood, maybe this wasn't typical Kadaj behavior. She was about to ask him a question to strike up a conversation, but then she felt rather than saw Cloud come out of nowhere and plant his fist right against Kadaj's face. The remnant went reeling backward, onto the floor, and Cloud was intent on pressing forward. Aerith recognized that look in Cloud's eyes. If no one moved to stop him, he would tear Kadaj apart right here and now. "Cloud! Stop this!" She grabbed for one of his arms to try and restrain him, but he was much too strong for her to stop him by force alone. But what could she do? She didn't want to see Kadaj become a bloody pulp against the wall where he now stood. So, she did the first thing that popped into her head, the one thing that just might get Cloud's mind off committing murder. She swung between Cloud and Kadaj, took Cloud's face in her hands, and pressed her lips to his for a good 30 seconds. When she finally broke the kiss, she stared up at the blond swordsman, breathing a little quickly, and then licked his cheek for good measure. Blushing profusely, she stammered, "W-well, it's a game, you see. I-I was only passing it on..."

Yuffie was about to continue talking, but Cloud started walking past her. "H-hey! Where are you going, Cloud?" she asked him as he passed her. She followed him over to see where he was headed and that was when she noticed Aerith and another person dancing together. Cloud looked angry and somehow Yuffie could tell this wasn't going to end well.
Her instinct was right as all of a sudden Cloud punched the guy. "Woah, take it easy, Cloud! That wasn't necessary was it?" she said trying to understand what exactly just happened here. "We don't need to start any fights, right? We're all here just to have a good time," She wasn't sure if he was even listening to her, but she had to try.
Though Aerith had come up and was also telling him to stop. And then out of nowhere Aerith kissed him. She seemed pretty embarrassed for doing so. "Go, Aerith!" she exclaimed to the two in front of her. Though then she realized she was probably not helping things. She walked over and helped the person Cloud punched up off the floor and then turned back to Cloud and Aerith and pointed to the bar. "Um, if you two need anything I'll be over there!" she told them and then walked back over there. She was totally going to keep watching them though, she just HAD to see what happened next.

"Fine, if you won't help me catch the moogles, at least help me with the pink elephants." -- " Awwww! Come on, Zexy, just one-hic-more!" Emi whined. Her final shreds of sanity asked "Where did that nickname come from?" only to be stifled by "Well, Zexion is too hard to say and I can't make my tongue behave...hehehehe that sounds dirty..." followed by a completely unrelated string of thoughts that brought her to the realization that by god, Zexion couldn't boss her around! She'd completely forgotten about the moogle kidnap plan in the past few seconds and was now more interested in trying to overpower Zexion's non-existent authority over her and have just one more drink. Not that she actually wanted one more, just because she was pissed at Zexion for trying to tell her what to do. However before she could turn to the bartender and start making loud accusations and demands, her gaze flickered over to the dance floor where she watched Kadaj get decked and the girl in the dress mackin' on the guy who punched him. " Hehehehe," she giggled and brought her hands to her face. " It's like watching a soap opera."

So Many Shenanigans Kadaj was beginning to wonder what was taking blondie so long to actually hit him. Was he scared or something? That couldn't be right; he had just punched him in the face, so of course he wasn't scared. He was just taking so damn long to hit him to make Kadaj even more scared. That sounded more like what Cloud would do. Hesitantly, the remnant opened his eyes and looked to see exactly what was making the man take so bloody long to hit him.
When he opened his eyes, they merely widened. Aerith had stepped in between the two and was kissing the blond. Part of him felt grossed out by it; not something he really wanted to see. Thankfully, that Yuffie girl who had been trying to distract Cloud earlier came over and helped him get away from the situation and over to the bar. He didn't say anything to her, only nodding to show that he heard her as she wandered away. He quickly stopped that though, his head hurting from that motion. Not knowing what else to do, he looked to one of the Moogle bartenders.
"Just get me something," he demanded, his normal confident tone back in his voice. The Moogle gave him a confused look at this, only causing Kadaj to be more insistent. "Get me something now". The Moogle quickly disappeared and made something up for him, something that resembled a Margarita. Kadaj took a few sips, recoiling at the taste at first but then started to gulp it down; maybe his head would stop hurting if he drank this stuff.
--
Zexion was already beginning to regret entering this club. Emi obviously did not want to listen to him and he was not about to force her to; he could care less at this point if she had more. He just did not like the smell of alcohol at all, not one bit. "As you wish then," he told her, not bothering to fight with her anymore, "I ask that you do not drag me into these shenanigans. You may go do as you please." Without even knowing that he was, he was attempting some authority over her. No doubt she would rebel against that too.
Without another word, he summoned the Lexicon in front of him and sat back down on his stool. He was not about to drink any alcohol, especially after seeing what it did to Emi and just about everyone else here. He was not about to go dancing; he did not know how nor did he want to learn, especially when a blond swordsman was punching people around on said dance floor. His Lexicon was his only source of sanity at this point. It did not occur to him that normal people did not bring books to clubs or anything of the sort, much less read them.

"Hey, hey, I have another great idea!" -- Emi sat down, smirking. Even totally wasted, she could still be smug. It hadn't been a hard battle but she was still satisfied with her victory. Now, though, she was on a completely different train of thought. Well, maybe not completely different. She dropped her hands from her face and remarked " You know, that looks like fun. We should try it." Before he had a chance to protest or, better yet, run off and leave (again), Emi was out of her seat and crossing over to him. She reached over and roughly flicked off his hood. She laughed at the look of sheer terror and confusion on his face and leaned over. She tilted her head and pecked him on the lips. She would definitely wake up the next morning hating herself for it, even more so than she would hate herself for the massive headache, but it seemed like a good idea and gosh-darnit if that tequila hadn't dissolved what little self-control she had like acid.

Out of the Pan, Onto the Bar To celebrate his return to the land of the living - if he could himself that anyway - Xigbar stepped out a corridor of darkness. Traverse Town, a world he had visited on few occasions for missions and slacking off. He had heard of the intentions of someone to open up a club there, and the idea of tasting alcohol for the first time in god knew how long had drawn him there. That, and under the pressure of Xemnas’ thumb before he missed the chance to see if a nobody could be affected by alcohol in the first place. As he stepped into the club, his only eye adjusting to the new environment and the circling lights that every now and then hit his face, he saw that had evidently tried to test their limits with alcohol. “The more the merrier,” he thought to himself, approaching the bar and ordering a shot of tequila. If drinking alcohol, why wait for the small fry to set in when he could just go directly to that delicious old mate of his. “Here you go, kupo,” a moogle handled him his drink in tiny glass, a slice of lemon and salt. “You a pirate or something, kupo?” the tiny bartender asked him, intrigued by his appearance. Xigbar wasn’t paying attention, instead readying to take the shot. He put salt on the backside of his right hand and licked it. He quickly followed by drinking the tequila in one shot and biting the slice of lemon to cut out the sour taste. “As if pal. I’m a…” he started thinking, trying to answer the question for the moogle was still waiting for an answer. “On second thought, yeah, call me a pirate. It’s as close as anything anyway,” he concluded, hitting the bad with the glass. He took a look around, noticing no change, no distorted image, and a very small amount of heat on his insides. It worked, but even the strong stuff was slow now. “Keep it coming buddy,” he told the little guy, snatching the tequila bottle away from him.
