She's not going to remember this, might as well... -- Emi could have cried with relief. Instead, she just hugged him even tighter. How was that even possible? The poor man probably couldn't even breathe. Anyways, she was happy that Zexy wasn't mad at her anymore. Not that he had been mad at her before- well, he was but not for the same reasons. " We can work everything out when we get home. There's only one problem..." she started, nuzzling him again. She drew back from him, loosening her tight grip, and hiccuped. " I don't remember how to get home. Can you help me?" If he said no, she would just turn on the pleading puppy dog eyes again. It had worked perfectly well last time. " Also, my head hurts and I'm sleepy and really hungry." She added that part for pity points, apparently momentarily forgetting Zexion couldn't actual feel pity for her. " You can't just leave me hungry and cold out on the street! I'll be very very sad. You know how sensitive I am to being left alone!"

It's Only Fair... Wonder of wonders, Cloud spoke to her! She would have shown much more enthusiasm had she not had such a splitting headache. Thankfully, he and Yuffie helped her over to a sofa, and soon, she was sitting on it. It wasn't too long after she felt the plush cushion beneath her that she leaned to the side and lay down. Her bangs partially obscured her face as she looked up at Yuffie. "Lying down helps, yes. Though, my head is pounding right now..." She closed her eyes and rubbed at her temples with her fingers. Cloud still seemed to be standing near her, and she opened her eyes. She would finish what she had started. After all, it wasn't fair that Kadaj had gotten a hug and Cloud hadn't gotten his kiss yet. She reached a hand out to grasp at Cloud's clothes. "Come here. I have to tell you...a secret." She managed to pull him within reach, a vestige of her previous giggly mood surfacing for a moment. "But you can't tell anybody. Neither can you, Yuffie. This is a secret." By the time she sobered up tomorrow, she probably wouldn't recall this secret. She leaned up, her nose only barely not touching Cloud's, and whispered. "The truth is...I like you. Yep, I like you. And it doesn't matter if you like to run off with Sephiroth more than you like to spend time with me. I still like you. A lot. A lot, a lot." She punctuated this half-coherent confession by kissing Cloud--a much gentler kiss than the earlier one--and then she let go of him and finally passed out, exhausted.

Grand Exits Good, there wasn't a fight breaking out; Kadaj didn't think he could fight against Cloud right now, who was surely more sober than he was at the present moment. Loz had already punched him in the gut anyway; he didn't want to ask of more from his brother. Before he knew it, he slid back down on the floor again after he had worked so hard to get near a standing position. He didn't move after he plopped on the floor again, merely narrowing his eyes at Cloud as he took Aerith away with Yuffie.
Loz got his message after dealing with Cloud and decided that the club was lame. Yeah, it was. Why did Kadaj come here anyway? He sort of forgot right now. Oh well, he could just leave now anyway; if only he could stand up. He tried to stand up again and got up part of the way slowly, though he was very thankful that Loz came to pick him up. He simply went limp in his arms, too far gone to even care that his brother was carrying him. Though, he did care about one thing.
"Let's not tell Yazoo about this," he said, "Thanks Loz." He closed his eyes and slumped, starting to slowly fall asleep.
--
She took that well, though she was hugging him incredibly tightly. He quite nearly could not breathe because of this. Why was she hugging him anyway? In normal situations, she never particularly liked him. The best way to put it was that she tolerated him and got information from him. He had manipulated her and mentally tortured her through illusions, had used her to get his memories back and then left her in Radiant Garden. She had very good reasons to loathe him.
And she was hugging him and nuzzling him... tightly. And she was saying that 'we' could work everything out when 'we' got home. Was she expecting him to go home with her? Wait, was she taking this seriously? He had 'broken up' with Xigbar with the use of an overused joke, but did Emi think that he 'broke up' with her too? Goodness, those with hearts took things to such different levels.
Zexion, of course, was not going to let her think this sort of thing. "I will send you home, but that is all. You and I both know that this sort of thing could never work." He could not believe he was going down this road; he had never gone down it before, though he found that it still gave him quite the ability to be manipulative. "Out of the kindness of my heart, I will bring you home. But after that, it would be wise if we did not see each other again. Please do your best to understand."
He was now able to breathe and she no longer was hugging him. With his right hand, he formed a Corridor of Darkness behind her. It went straight back to Radiant Garden. She could find her way home; he wasn't about to do that for her since he truly could care less. "Do not make this too painful for either of us. You should leave quickly." He imagined that those who said these sorts of overused things often had pity or sadness in their voice, even pain. His voice was completely empty.

"And now, exit stage left." --
" Wh- what!?" Tears sprang to her eyes. She was starting to lose the happy buzz and was more irritated by this new development and her headache. Zexion would have been smart to notice the clenching of her fists and setting of her jaw. She had thought everything was okay! They were going to go home and talk things out, right? Oh, she was so utterly confused. It was kind of pathetic. " You always leave, you jerk!" As it turns out, Zexion's face was the the perfect height for Emi to punch him in it. She drew her arm back and lashed out, hitting him smack in the nose. " I hope you bleed to death! Also, you can pay my tab," she hissed. But then, a little bit of her usual personality came through, and she smirked. That smirk had a nasty tinge to it. She pushed Zexion's hand out of the way from where he was holding his probably broken nose, leaned down and kissed the corner of his mouth. " See you later, sweetie." She pushed him out of the way and stumbled into the corridor, which she hoped lead to Radiant Garden and not... like, space or something. -- Report: Emi has left the thread.

The Truth Returned Having helped Aerith over to the sofa, he stood over her for a moment, just to make sure she was okay. Yuffie, who had plopped down into the closest armchair, had asked him a question. Turning around he looked at her for a moment before answering. She certainly seemed to have had herself a lot fun. "Yeah." he agreed, nodding slowly for a brief moment. If there was one thing the night had been it was crazy. Some of it had been nice... Most of it hadn't been, unfortunately. Luckily, no one seemed to have really gotten hurt, and chances were, with Kadaj and Loz having finally left, no one would. Glancing down at a practically asleep Aerith, he decided he was beginning to feel awfully tired himself. It was about time that everyone went ahead and left to go home. Then again, he wasn't exactly sure which one of them was currently capable of driving the gummy ship. Cid, where ever he was, had probably ended up finding more to drink than the rest of them combined. Maybe they should just stay at the inn for the night... Cloud was surprised when Aerith suddenly began to tug at the cloth on his left leg. Apparently she had to tell him "a secret". This would be certainly be interesting. Allowing her to drag him there, he wound up on his knees leaning over her. "Sure..." he replied, still not entirely sure what it was he wouldn't be allowed to tell anyone. His eyes widened upon hearing what she had to say. That hadn't been what he was expecting to hear. He was forced to close his mouth when Aerith, who's face was practically already touching his, kissed him one last time, and fell back onto the couch, now clearly out off all energy. It hadn't been entirely expected, but it was less out of the blue than the last one. He stayed where he was for a moment, staring at a sleeping Aerith as he absorbed what had just happened. It was sure a lot to take in so fast. He leaned down, to her ear, his lips practically touching it. "Would you like to hear a secret?" he asked her in a whisper, though obviously she couldn't hear him. "I like you too." Those words, felt so strange be to saying to her. But-- even if it was only to an unconscious Aerith, it did feel good to have said them out live. And who knew, maybe one day, he would actually be able to say them to a completely conscious and sober Aerith, being completely sober himself as well. One day... Sliding his arms underneath her, he picked her back up again. From the looks of things, she likely wouldn't be waking up any time soon. And it would probably be best if she were able to sleep in a bed, opposed to some couch in a club. He looked back to Yuffie, who was still in her chair. "What do you say we go ahead and leave?" he asked her, his voice slightly cheerier than usual, although nothing compared to that of of the Grand Ninja he was talking to. "I think we've had more than enough craziness for one night."

Yuffie couldn't help but giggle a little bit that Aerith said her head was pounding. Someone sure was going to have a hangover in the morning. But then Aerith suddenly grabbed Cloud and talked about a secret she wanted to say. She soon leaned in closer, eager to hear what it was. She was surprised Aerith was going to let her in too, but again it might be the whole still kind of drunk thing. "I promise not to tell anyone! What is it?" she asked unable to wait to hear what it was.
And that was when Aerith told Cloud she liked him. Which, well Yuffie kind of already knew. Aerith also went ahead and kissed him too. She gasped and couldn't help but say aloud, "No waaaay!!!" Then she closed her mouth quickly, realizing that probably ruined the moment for the two. SHe then watched as Aerith passed out, obviously exhausted from everything that had happened.
Though what she didn't expect was that Cloud went ahead and whispered into Aerith's ear that he liked her too. She couldn't help but let out an audible "Awwww...." Obviously since Aerith had passed out she didn't hear it, but Yuffie sure did! She would be sure to tell Aerith when she woke up, that was for sure.
Then Cloud picked Aerith up and asked about leaving, probably wanting to get Aerith somewhere more comfortable than this couch. Yuffie jumped up and helped Cloud with Aerith. "Aww, you're tired of the craziness? But it was so much fun! I guess if we have too....." she said slightly disappointed. But Cloud was right, it was probably time to go. Even if she never did get a drink....stupid moogle.

Explosion Those words had been the wrong things to say. He could tell almost instantly when Emi's jaw set and her fists clenched; those were her signs that her anger was about to flare. He waited to see what she would do, giving her an empty look as he always did. There were some tears in her eyes now, showing that the lighter mood she had been in had faded for good. It was intriguing to see that many of her emotions diverted back to anger; though, he could only imagine that it was an easy emotion to feel.
... And feel the effects of. This was the Emi he knew. She, like before, punched him directly in the face; for someone who was more than a bit tipsy, she had very good aim. Zexion remained standing for it, though now his face was aching, particularly his nose which felt a bit broken. His hand instantly went up to it to nurse it, seeing some blood end up on his gloves. He did not like dirtying his hands in the literal sense just as much as he disliked dirtying his hands in combat; at least this was his own blood this time. He smirked to this in mild amusement; this was how things were meant to be, at least to him.
That thought stayed in his head for about two seconds before she came over to him with a smirk on her face. He let his grin drop and went back to the blank face, still holding his nose. His hand did not remain there, for she pushed it away. He raised an eyebrow to this, wondering what sort of thing she was going to try on him now. His eyes widened slightly when he felt her lips on the corner of his mouth and when she said 'sweetie'. She then disappeared without another word into the Corridor of Darkness, leaving him to stand there somewhat confused; women, particularly those with hearts, always seemed to confuse him.
He would have to leave these baffling thoughts for another day. People were starting to come out of the club bit by bit, walking by him and ignoring his presence. That made things all the more easier or him. He ignored his broken nose for the time being and summoned his Lexicon once more, going to a familiar page. It glowed slightly as he stared at the club, a small grin forming once more.
"This should do," he said to himself, making his hand point toward the building. Meteors started to fall onto it from the sky, causing the building to start burning. Anyone who was inside of the building at the moment would have to quickly rush out and make their way to a safer location. Xigbar could make it out on his own too, Zexion not even bothering to waste more than a second's thought on the Freeshooter. If he had a heart, he would have felt bad for the moogles; after all, they had only opened the club this evening and it was already getting destroyed. Alas, he had no heart and he truly did not care what happened to it. This was just for effect.
[Zexion used Meteor Mirage]
-Epilogue- It didn't take long for those inside the building to notice that it was getting hit by meteors. Cloud and Yuffie managed to get Aerith out quickly with the aid of Vincent, all of them heading back to Radiant Garden. Raen and Cheza ran out as well and went to their respective ships. The moogles had no choice but to leave the building as well, disappointed that their club went up in smoke; perhaps they should have just stuck to item shops.
There was only one man left in the club after the moogles left. Xigbar was standing there with a grin on his face as everything was burning around him. He waited for the perfect moment before jumping out of the window, the building exploding behind him. He landed semi-gracefully outside without a single scratch.
"Yep, always wanted to do that. Thanks for giving me the opportunity shorty." The two left the world for their own shortly after Xigbar's comment, disappearing quickly from Traverse Town.
All in all, an eventful night evening; let's never speak of it again, shall we?
Signed, Zexion.
