Speechless As he moved forward towards Kadaj, Cloud couldn't help but almost feel bad for his victim. He just seemed so helpless and pathetic, something that Sephiroth never pretended to be, and he wasn't used to it. But itt was probably just some kind of a trick. Besides, it wasn't like he actually had any intension of actually killing him; not that the other had any problem with killing people. He just intended to punch him a few more times for good measures; to make sure he learned his lesson. But without warning, his face was suddenly being pulled into Aerith's face. She was... She was... Kissing him? All of his anger immediately drained out of him. His eyes popped wide open, continuing to look just as shocked until Aerith pulled away. He had immediately became completely oblivious to everything around him, and wasn't sure how much time had passed. It was then that he realized that he hadn't been breathing, and decided it was a good idea to start trying to do so. In case Aerith hadn't already managed to leave Cloud profoundly surprised and confused, which she had, her next move unquestionably would have done the job. Had she... Had she just... Had she just licked him?. This time his mouth literally fell open, as he tried to stammer out something to respond with. "Th-that's okay..." he finally managed to say. Chances were, he was blushing just as much as she was. Apparently it was some kind of game. Admittedly, it did seem a little odd that he was allowing himself to be sucked into the exact same thing that had just previously caused him to almost beat someone half to death. Still-- the circumstances were different this time. Kadaj had simply been trying to make Cloud angry, which he had obviously succeeded in. Either way though, he would definitely not be passing "it" on, no matter how much he had to drink. He turned to see Kadaj slumping down at the bar, and beginning to drink. Whatever, he didn't want to waste his time on such a coward anyway. Wiping her saliza off his cheek with his arm, he turned back to face at Aerith, though he was having trouble looking her directly in the eyes after the peculiar little occurance they had just had without blushing any more. What was he supposed to say after that? "So.." he said simply in attempt to break the current silence. He still wasn't sure exactly what he should do next. She was probably laughing at his complete awkwardness like she always. This was officially the strangest night ever.

Am I Not Obvious Enough? She hadn't really expected him to say anything. Cloud was usually a man of few words, and kissing him wasn't exactly going to make him start spouting sonnets or some such. But she had at least expected--or hoped for--some sort of positive acknowledgment. Instead, all she got for a reaction was a lot of blushing and three words. Three meaningless words. Not the three words she would have liked to hear. But maybe she was kidding herself. Maybe it was only the wine making her act like a lovestruck girl. Cloud was just a friend to her. Right? She looked at him, even though he was trying his best to avoid her eyes. "You...didn't like it?" There was a small tremor in her voice, despite her efforts to sound nonchalant. Even if she had kissed him as a distraction, it was something she had secretly wanted to do for a long time, ever since they had become friends in Radiant Garden. Clinging to tradition had kept her from initiating a kiss, though. The man kissed first, and Cloud had never seemed interested in anything remotely romantic, and not just with her but with anyone. Just like he was now. She started to feel silly for doing what she had done. But part of her would do it again, if she had the chance. Sighing softly, she took his hand and pulled him with her back onto the dance floor, where they weren't quite so close to prying eyes and ears. She turned to face him, smiling once more, and gently poked him in the chest. “You're pretty dense sometimes, you know?” Then, she slid her arms around his neck again and swayed a little to the music. “You want to try dancing with me again? Without interruptions this time?”

Out on the Town! Loz stared up at the bright neon sign above him. "Club Moogle Mix... Eh?" It sounded like a pretty interesting place. Kadaj had said he was going to go find himself some fun, and he had come to this little town to find it. What was it called again... Travels Town? Something like that. Anyway, Yazoo may have stayed back like the boring no-fun brother he was, but Loz decided he would come see if there was anything interesting to do here. He couldn't let Kadaj have all the fun, could he?! He stepped through the doors, instantly mesmerized by all the many different colorful flashing lights. "Ooo, pretty." Looking around, he spotted amongst the crowd just the silver-haired remnant he had been looking for. Banging his head slightly to the music, he moved over to him. "Heey, Kadaj, whatcha up to?" It looked like he was just sitting there, like a boring old bum. Spotting the glass in his hand, he couldn't help but wonder. "Are you drunk?" He asked in an amused voice, laughing a little as he did.

Fun Time for Some, Not for All If his head was hurting, Kadaj wasn't paying attention to it. The Moogle gave the man a concerned look as he continued to sit there, swaying a little bit after he had finished his drink. Cloud seemed to be in better spirits after smooching his girl, so everything was good now. Though, he wouldn't cower in fear next time Cloud tried to even touch him. He would be the one getting the punch in the face next time around; the silver haired remnant was sure of it.
He turned his head slightly when he heard his name, a little too fast for his liking. He groaned a little bit, though that changed into a smirk when he saw who he was. So, one of his brothers did decide to come with him; leave it to Yazoo to stay home and do nothing. Oh well, him and Loz would have some fun now. He put his glass back down on the counter, the Moogle taking it away after giving the man a sort of frightened look. He supposed he should be nice now and answer Loz's question.
"Maybe," he said, still smiling. He decided to stand up next to his brother, the other being taller of course. He swayed a bit again, though held himself steady on the edge of the bar. "You shouldn't even have to ask. I'm glad you could make it." It was somewhat genuine; Loz was always decent company and he could always have a little fun with his brother. "Cloud over there," he said, gesturing to the blond, "Still doesn't like us. It's a shame. Maybe we should teach him a lesson."
He pushed off of the bar and attempted to stand tall, keeping himself steady for the moment. He hadn't had too much to drink, or at least he didn't think so. Though, he had never really had alcohol before. He didn't know that he should probably stay away from the stuff since he was a lightweight anyhow, just like the rest of the remnants were. Eh, he didn't care much if it did do anything to him. He'd deal with it later.

Zexion had not even heard what Emi said while he was reading, absorbed in his text. That was what caused him to be as surprised as he was when she yanked his hood off. When had she even come over? What was she planning to do? She had that glint in her eye, a key sign that he was not going to like what she was about to do, whatever it was. Now she was laughing at him, clearly amused by the look of utter astonishment on his face. What did she think she was--?
She had kissed him. It hadn't lasted long, though it sent Zexion's mind reeling. His eyes were wide with shock, the Lexicon dropping unceremoniously to the floor. He did not even register it, still trying to make sense of everything. She did it because she was drunk, that was it. She did it because her drunken mind saw someone else doing it and thought that it would be a good idea to do it herself. There was nothing behind it, no, nothing. The Schemer let out a breath he had been unaware he had been holding it, gaining his composure again.
It tasted like tequila, which he now figured to be quite distasteful. If he had a heart, he doubted he would have enjoyed this; he certainly did not feel much of anything aside from shock with this experience. Though, it would be highly doubtful that Emi would kiss Ienzo like that. That would be utterly ridiculous. He gained a stern look in his eyes, glaring straight at Emi as he stood up and picked up his Lexicon, letting it disappear.
"That was unnecessary," he told her, though that was not exactly what he wanted to say. He was not the scolding type, much less one to feel the emotion behind scolding; his voice had been empty even as he said those words to her. He glared at her for another moment before walking away from her. There was another familiar face here, one that might be able to keep him sane in all of this. Though, the he had just agreed to being called a pirate; Zexion was beginning to really regret coming here this evening.
"Good evening Xigbar," he said casually, his voice as emotionless as usual, "Are you telling people you're a pirate again?" He ignored the fact that Xigbar too was drinking; it did not really surprise him that much at all. Zexion, naturally, was not going to have any of it.

"Maybe we should get you drunk and try that again..." -- Emi stood back for a minute to think. Then, she snorted and once again laughed until she couldn't breathe. " Of course it wasn't neccesary," she gasped. " But it was fun, right? Plus, you know, I thought you couldn't feel anything. Why are you upset? If you can't feel emotions I should be able to drag you off somewhere and have my way with you because I know you won't wake up in the morning and regret it because YOU CAN'T FEEL ANYTHING." She had been babbling, unaware he was walking away from her but now her attention span was dwindling and she needed a new source of entertainment. It registered that Zexion was speaking to someone. Oh, a newcomer, someone else to-- wait a second. Emi growled. " You!" she shouted, striding over the last few steps to Xigbar. She had heard Zexion refer to him as that, but she still knew him as Braig. She grabbed him by the hood of his cloak and started slinging him around- at least she was trying to- while she shouted " You said some very unkind things about my mother, mister, and I'm not about to forget it! I should take that stick out of Zexion's butt and beat you with it!"

You Thinkin' What I'm Thinkin'? "I figured you would be." he replied cheerily, returning his brother's smile with one of his own. Though he quickly became considerably less cheery at the mention of the blondie who was apparently in the club too. Glancing towards where Kadaj had gestured, he saw Cloud standing there, dancing with some girl. "What a jerk." His smile partially returned however with the next suggestion. "Yeeaaah, maybe we should!" His eyes started to gleam with excitement, as he began to think of all the amusing things the two of them could do to their little blond friend. "Say, what'd ya have in mind?"Looking back towards their soon to be victim, he noticed that he seemed to be dancing pretty close with some girl in pink. It was pretty gross actually, but after a momentit gave him an idea. "Hey, how about we mess with that girlfriend of his. That'd sure make 'em angry, huh?" This was definitely not a good idea after what had just happened to Kadaj earlier, but Loz was completely unaware of the big mess that had occurred prior to his arrival. And in his mind: it was a great idea!

Hard to Express Cloud simply stared at Aerith when she asked him her question. He was at a greater loss for words than ever. Had he liked it? Well it wasn't like he really knew what to compare it to, having never actually been kissed before. But he definitely didn't regret that it had happened... If there was anyone he had ever had ever had a crush on it had been Aerith, years ago. Though maybe, even after all the time, it was something that was still there... Either way, she probably didn't feel the same way. And even if she did, which was looking slightly possible, she deserved better, didn't she? He was broken out of his deep thought when he found himself being pulled back onto the dance floor, something that he allowed to be done. Aerith smiled at him, poking him in the chest as she asked a question. "Yeah..." he responded, evidently still not understanding the concept of a rhetorical question. Feeling her slide her arms around his neck, he smiled a little, nodding wordlessly to the next question. Hesitating only slightly, he placed his hands on his partner's waist, and began to sway with her. This time managing to do so a bit more successfully.

After finding a seat that was a decent distance away, but still close enough to be able to watch Aerith and Cloud, Yuffie sat down and continued watching. Cloud and Aerith both seemed very red in the face and Yuffie couldn't help but think how cute the two looked together. They then started dancing together and she couldn't help but say out loud, "Awww, they look so perfect together!"
She couldn't wait to tell Leon about all this! Well, when she thought about it Leon probably wouldn't care all that much. Maybe later she could talk to Aerith about how it was. All Yuffie knew was that she had to talk to someone about it eventually! She then decided to look around and see who else was around. Apparently someone had started talking to that man Cloud had punched earlier and she was surprised by how similar they looked. It probably meant they were related somehow. There were also some people dressed in black cloaks about to talk with a girl who well seemed to have had too much to drink, but she didn't really pay any attention to them.
She then turned towards the bar and motioned for the moogle to come over. "Hey can you get me a drink?" she asked him politely. The moogle stared at her for a moment before speaking, "You don't look old enough to drink, kupo," Yuffie's expression soon turned to one of shock. "What?! I am SO old enough to drink!" she exclaimed. However, before she could complain more the moogle went away. Yuffie turned back around, arms crossed. Well that was no fun. She then decided that maybe continuing to watch Cloud and Aerith together some more could lighten up her spirits.

By the time he reached his fifth glass of tequila, with alcohol just then starting hit any nerves, Xigbar was approached by a familiar face. Or half a face, for the youngster always covered half with his hair. He simply greeted him with a slight wave of his hand as he took yet another shot.
“Hey there Zex… of course I’m telling them I’m a pirate. I got the eye patch, the scars, all I’m missing is a parrot on my shoulder spouting random nonsense,” he trailed off, turning around on his chair and taking a good look at the schemer. He looked up and down, his hand on his chin, inspecting Zexion as if he were merchandise. “Maybe you could take the place of the parrot now that I think about it,” he mocked him with a grin on his face.
He didn’t get time for a response however, for someone else that hated his guts, only more openly than most, had approached him. He could smell the tequila coming off her like stench after an hour of running in a hot day. “Would you like me to assist you with the stick removal procedure?” he asked amused at her antics.

Some Violence "I was hoping you would," Kadaj responded to Loz's first question. He typically was the one to think of a plan in normal situations, being the unofficial leader of the trio of brothers. However, his mind was muddled at this point and he did not want to bother to think of anything. He could follow whatever Loz managed to think up. Though, he obviously thought along the same lines, for his brother looked straight at Aerith. It was gross to Kadaj to see them dancing like they were, but he ignored it.
"Oh he really doesn't like that," he said, "I was only being kind to her and he thought it would be great entertainment to start a fight." Loz knew how antagonistic Kadaj could truly be and that being nice was a stretch for him, even when he was tipsy. He also could probably see where Cloud had punched him in the face by now, though the lighting didn't help that at all.
"Got any bright ideas yet?" he asked, a grin on his face.
--
The words spewing out of Emi's mouth at this point were slightly alarming to him. Zexion was wondering if she was completely aware of what she was saying. Under normal circumstances, he doubted that thoughts like that would have even crossed her mind, much less said. Though, these were obviously not those circumstances; alcohol was involved now and Emi was under its influence. Part of him wondered if he should keep his guard up in case she did try anything like that; he did not pretend to understand the drunken mind, though he wouldn't put it past her in her current state.
He kept his attention on the other conversation he was having, rolling his eyes slightly. "I believe you have that backwards Xigbar. You already spout off nonsense, making you a far better parrot than myself." He then turned to see that Emi had followed him over to Xigbar, an angry look on her face. Oh yes, she wasn't too fond of him was she? The Nobody could handle himself though if she tried something... though his mind twisted into a bit of confusion at her and the Freeshooter's exchange.
"I will pretend I did not here that," he added, pulling out his Lexicon and deciding to ignore what he was sure would be an interesting, and most likely violent, conversation.

"This is my angry face!" -- Emi scoffed and crossed her arms over her chest. The giggly affectionate part was over with, now she was just angry and murderous. Even more so than usual, anyways. Her hand snapped open, slapping Xigbar open-handed across the side of his head, his back turned to her. " Don't just ignore me," she snapped. " Don't you know who I am!?" The moogle kidnapping plot could wait! Avenging her mother, despite the fact Emi had never met the woman or even knew her name, was important! Family first after all, right? Emi decided to jog his memory a little, and leaned over next to him. She tapped him on the shoulder and continued to shout obnoxiously. " My name is Emiline DesCoteaux, we met when I was about seven years old! You called my mom a hooker so I kicked you in the knees!" She waved a hand towards Zexion. Well, not exactly at him, off to the side a bit but she could have SWORN he was sitting further to the right. " This guy here tried to stop me so I kicked him too!" Just to prove a point, Emi popped Zexion in the leg with the tip of her shoe. Lightly. Well, maybe a little harder than she had meant. But it wouldn't leave a bruise or anything.

Press Triangle to Taunt “I know who you are, no need to shout,” Xigbar answered calmly as he poured more tequila from the bottle into the glass, only to consume it just as quickly as the glass was filled. It was true he remembered the girl, mostly because of the kick, but that was about it. He didn’t particularly care, but he was slightly intrigued by her closeness with Zexion, evidenced by the kick. The entire story seemed fuzzy to him, which only showed how little he cared about the incident, having it occurred out of him acting as usual, or that some memories from his somebody had been lost. Or the third, also likely option: the alcohol was finally starting to affect him, if only slightly. Seeing as his chest felt hot, that could have easily been it. “You look just like your mother if I may say so,” he taunted the girl, trying to see how much longer it would take for the drunkard to go nuts at him, or simply storm off. To top it off, he finished his taunt with a simple “Care to join me?” as he extended his right arm, holding the small glass filled with tequila.

"Tequila buddies! ...wait, what!?" -- Emi was impulsive to begin with and in the heat of the moment she reached out and snatched the shot, draining it before the obvious insult even processed in her brain. And then it did, and she choked. She slammed the shot glass back down onto the bar and made a hideous growling/screeching noise. And then, she again grabbed the hood of the man's cloak and yanked hard, attempting to drag him into the floor. She didn't play fair. She would take any possible shots, illegal or not. She'd gone to jail, gosh darnit, she wasn't afraid of anything. " I do not look like a hooker!" she screamed. " I don't wear enough make up!" Her plan was to stomp on his face a few times. She had no pity for the eye patch either. There was one redeeming quality for her, at least she didn't discriminate! No matter skin color, religion or disabilities, Emi would still beat the crap out of you.

I'll Have What She's Having "I'll try..." he replied reluctantly, although plans weren't really his thing. Kadaj was the one that usually took charge and made the plans. And if it wasn't him, then Yazoo would have been the one to do the job instead. Loz was more of an action kind of guy, ya' know? He usually left all of the thinking to his brothers, if he could. But Yazoo clearly wasn't there, and from the way he was stumbling around it didn't look like Kadaj was in a very good state for planning. So he guessed the job just fell straight to him. Loz frowned when his first idea was shot down, because it meant he would have to think of another one. Apparently Kadaj had already tried it, and it hadn't worked out very well. Getting it a minute late, he let out a little snicker. "You got beat up by blondie?" But then without warning, his facial expression suddenly turned serious and angry. "Wait a minute-- he can't do that!" Who did Cloud think he was, messin' with one of them? He had nerve, that was for sure. And Loz wasn't about to let someone mess with one of his brothers. His eye was suddenly caught by the sight of some girl viciously attacking some guy with a silly lookin' eye patch. A big mischievous grin spread across his face. He pointed not-very-discreetly at the violent girl, turning back at Kadaj. "Now she's got the right idea! The best way to settle things is always violence!" Lowering his arm, he cracked his knuckles menacingly, and set his eyes straight on Cloud. "Maybe if he wants a fight we should give him!"

We're Not Gonna Take It Kadaj turned his head to watch other things going on in the club while Loz was thinking, a task that he usually didn't leave to him. That wasn't to say that his brother wasn't unintelligent, for he was just like the rest of the remnants. It was just that Kadaj usually thought of everything for the group, Yazoo sometimes coming up with something as well. Loz didn't do things that way, which Kadaj couldn't say he had too much of a problem with.
It took a minute, but Loz got that he had gotten beat up by Cloud. He laughed at it at first, which Kadaj joined in doing. He had let himself get beat up by Cloud for goodness' sake; that was just too damn funny. Though, Loz instantly changed. He went into protective brother mode, or as much close to protective as any of them got. He was right though; Cloud couldn't just go doing stuff like that without getting away with it!
"I couldn't agree more Brother," he said to Loz's final statement, especially after seeing his previous dance partner beating up on someone. She had some spunk; he kind of liked that. Well, right now he did. He'd forget about it in the morning and go back to his typical destructive habits. "Let's give blondie a fight." He beckoned Loz to follow him over to where Cloud was, though ended up tripping over his own feet. After grumbling a couple of obscenities, he pushed himself back up and tapped Cloud on the shoulder.
--
Tuning people out was something the Schemer had nearly perfected to an art. If he had the Lexicon in front of him, Zexion had the ability to tune out his surroundings almost completely. In this particular place, he found this ability incredibly useful; the music was loud and he was not keen on listening to Xigbar and Emi have a conversation, much less anyone else around him. It was working so far and he had so far turned a page in his reading until he felt a sharp kick in his leg.
That quickly brought him out of his almost trance-like state, a glare immediately making it to his face. It was not a strong enough kick to bruise, though that did not make it any less painful. The Lexicon gradually lowered from his face as he looked at the two nearest him. It was obvious that it was Emi just by the fact that Xigbar was not a particularly violent Nobody. There was also the fact that she was trying to drag him to the floor to beat him up even more. He all about slammed his Lexicon on the bar as he stood up; he had not come here to babysit.
"Enough," he said forcefully, not nearly loud enough to be considered a yell. He grabbed Emi's hand that she was using to yank Xigbar and pushed it away, attempting to push her away from him. "Xigbar, you and I are returning to the castle. Now." It was evident that his words were clearly not just a request, but a direct order. He wanted no more of this.
