"Wake up and smell the margaritas." -- Of course it was only a matter of time before Emi woke up. She was a heavy sleeper but even the heaviest of sleepers couldn't make it nearly trampled on a dance floor. She also missing her cuddle buddy/pillow and was now sleeping on a bare, very uncomfortable floor. After nearly having her fingers stepped on and crushed, she managed to regain enough consciousness to stand up and move. But not enough to run down that person who stepped on her fingers and step on their face. The small crowd that had gathered around Xigbar, and by extension Emi and Zexion, was beginning to disperse now that their primary souce of entertainment had been used to whack their host upside the head and their secondary source of entertainment was conscious again and their...thirdinary... source of entertainment was um... gone. Panic stricken, Emi looked around. No Zexion. Anywhere. No! He'd left again. She stormed the few steps over to Xigbar and poked him in the chest. " Where'd he go? What did you do to him!?" she yelled. Obviously it had to be his fault. Zexion wouldn't just go off and leave her like that would he? Of course, she didn't think her actions, such as falling asleep on him, had anything to do with it. She was an innocent, nay, the victim in this situation. And she was outraged! Now the crowd was drawn back in. More entertainment in the form of another possible brawl. She didn't want to fight; she was too tired to fight. She just wanted to know where Zexion went, possibly so she could stalk him, tie him up and drag him back into the club for a proper dance that didn't involve sleeping.

Get Lost! As he continued to watch, still not sure what was going on, Loz was made even further confused. Was Kadaj... crying? Kadaj didn't cry very often. But it didn't look like he was just pretending... The mean lady in the pink must have been causing his tears. Who did she think she was? Well he wasn't about to let her be mean to one of his brothers any more than he was going to let Cloud punch one of them in the face. He would put a stop to this. Standing up, he stomped over to the other side of the room. She seemed to have closed her eyes while he was approaching, but he could tell she wasn't really asleep. She couldn't fool him that easily. "Leave Kadaj alone, jerk!" Seemingly effortlessly, he lifting her up into his arms. Now what was he supposed to do with her? Maybe he should just throw her somewhere. That would serve her right. He started looking around, trying to find on a nice place in the club to toss her to, hopefully before she decided to start slapping him in the face again.

Enough Yuffie giggling gave Cloud a strong feeling that he wasn't going to like her answer to his question very much. His suspicions soon proved to have been correct. "Spread the love?" he asked, though once again not entirely sure he wanted to her the response, and once again he was right in thinking so. She wanted to go do what? Both actions were surprising, but the former was much more annoying. When would Aerith learn that the remnants were trouble? They weren't a bunch of poor, innocent, misunderstood people. They weren't even people at all! And she didn't need to be messing with such dangerous things. He turned back to Yuffie, who apparently still wasn't done answering his question. "Wait-- what?" He didn't like Sephiroth; he hated Sephiroth! He was the one who refused to let the other live in piece, not vis versa. "I don't care about him... I care about defeating him." But it wasn't like he just wanted to defeat the darkness for himself. It was mainly for his friends that he fought... So that he could return to them, and wouldn't be have to constantly be worried about the darkness's hold over him. They made it sound like he was selfish for choosing to fight Sephiroth, which just wasn't the case. His eyes widened as he saw what was going on now. It looked like Aerith was flirting with Kadaj. Cloud wasn't a jealous person, but-- it was Kadaj of all people! Although the it was his hands that were really annoying him, not hers. The way he was holding him, like he was all nice and sympathetic. Please, it was obvious that he was trying to do was make him angry. But... Aerith seemed to be doing quite a job leading him on. "She's the one who's clinging all over one of his remnants..." Maybe she liked even Kadaj of more than she liked him. That was sure the way it looked. Then the bigger of the two silver-haired men, Loz, came walking over to her. That wasn't good. The man had made his violence pretty clear when he decided to send Cloud flying across the room. Not that that would stop him from doing something about the situation. He moved towards them, reaching his destination right as Loz was picking Aerith up like a rag doll. "What do you think you're doing?" he asked angrily, as he snatched her out of the arms she was currently in, maybe slightly less gently then he could have, and trying to help her stand back up, though she seemed a little tipsy.

What? He's been here the whole time. -- Vincent watched the night's events unfold before him from a darkly lit table in a corner. Alone. Sober. Terrified. But not so terrified as to get up and leave or interfere. In fact, despite his terror, he was also somewhat amused with their antics. Much in the way watching horror movies entertain some people. His friends were going to need a ride home considering most of them- with the exception for Yuffie, who was not driving, sober or not- were tipsy if not completely wasted. And he was going to have a hard time erasing all the things he'd seen during the night. Things started out innocent but quickly unfolded into a tale of jealousy, love, heartbreak and then further devolved into a drunken brawl. He watched now as Aerith sat with Kadaj close by and... and... cuddled with him. With an amused smirk, he watched new players enter. Loz, confused and offended as per usual. And Cloud, jealous and angry, joined next. Vincent swirled his wine glass elegantly, sat back and enjoyed the show. Mind you, the wine glass was filled with grape juice, non-fermented. Perhaps the next time...

Yuffie couldn't help but be amused by Cloud's reaction to what she had just told him. She realized she shouldn't find all this as amusing as she was right now, but it was all just so hilarious! "No need to get defensive," she teased when Cloud reacted to her telling him that Aerith thought he liked Sephiroth more than her. She then focused her attention back on Kadaj and Aerith and it looked like they were....cuddling together?
Wow, Aerith must have been much more tipsy than Yuffie had originally thought. She still wasn't going to do anything yet, opting to stay out of it and watch. Cloud would probably end up doing something anyway. Though what she didn't expect was that the guy who had punched Cloud was picking Aerith off of Kadaj. And apparently that did it for Cloud. He went over towards them. "W-wait a minute!" she exclaimed following after him. It looked like another fight might break out.
Cloud had just taken Aerith out of Loz's arms and started helping her stand back up. Yuffie came over and helped Aerith stand as well, basically taking over what Cloud had been doing. "Cloud, can't you just ignore them right now? We should get Aerith somewhere to lie down or something," he said to Cloud, hoping he'd listen. Even though she kind of wanted to see a fight, it was probably better if one didn't break out right now.

Instability Kadaj partially wished that Aerith's words were true. She may not have seen a monster inside of him, which he found hard to believe, but he did. He knew he was. He was just a creature of chaos and destruction. That's all he ever knew and all he ever was going to, at least in his mind. It was nice that she didn't see him as a monster, but it didn't help that he saw of himself as one. He typically wouldn't mind this and would in fact revel in this fact, but not right now. He was too far gone to do such things.
He sighed heavily as these thoughts weighed down his mind, letting her rest her pretty little head on his shoulder. She was talking ideally now, what she would like to happen. She wanted everyone to be friends, something Kadaj did not see happening. Once dawn approached, him and Cloud would start fighting once more. He couldn't stop fighting; it was part of who he was. He didn't like solving things diplomatically. That was just the boring way of doing things. Besides, him and Cloud couldn't be friends; it just seemed to be impossible.
He decided not to say a word as she nuzzled into his neck and started to fall asleep; the alcohol was finally making her tired. She would be waking up tomorrow without too much of a memory of what happened, though Kadaj had to wonder if she would regret it. He wasn't sure he would; he'd surely find out tomorrow. Aerith just seemed too nice to regret being with someone even as bad as himself. For now, he supposed he could let his eyes close too, right?
Nope.
The next couple of moments happened far too quickly for his liking. Loz had taken Aerith off of Kadaj's lap and told her to leave him alone. He was always the defensive brother wasn't he? He must have seen Kadaj crying or something, an action that the silver-haired remnant made sure never happened. He had to be the strong leader between the three of them; Loz was sensitive and Yazoo was apathetic. Kadaj managed to look up at his brother as this happened, not sure exactly what to feel besides drowsy. He probably should try to stand up now. Yeah, that sounded good. He slowly pulled himself up, his arm on the wall to support himself as he swayed a bit.
"Brother?" He was a bit confused, though he sort of understood why Loz did it. He didn't like seeing his brother hurt and he was probably grossed out by Aerith fawning all over him. Cloud then stormed over and took Aerith away from Loz and started yelling at his brother. Okay, now was his time to step in. "He was just getting your girl away from me Cloud. I thought that was what you wanted." His tone was rather sly, though he felt he had nothing more to say to blondie; Aerith was his to deal with now.
"Can we go home Loz?" he asked, his tone a bit pleading. He didn't feel like being here anymore; this party was getting boring now.

Will You Catch Me? She had very nearly drifted off to sleep, her brain beginning to shut down completely. Most likely, she would hardly remember any of this in the morning. Perhaps ghosts of conversations, at best. For now, she only wanted to sleep, and Kadaj just happened to be her current pillow. Suddenly, she felt herself being picked up by someone--yanked up, was more like it. The man that had punched Cloud was now holding her and yelling at her to leave Kadaj--his brother?--alone. Well, she supposed she could see the resemblance. She just wished he wouldn't speak quite so loudly. Her ears were ringing, and her head was beginning to pound. Had she not been so drained physically and emotionally, she probably would have slapped him again. Not long after the man snatched her up, she felt a different set of arms grab her and attempt to help her stand up. She put a hand to one of his biceps and immediately recognized him. "Oh...Cloud...you came for me..." She managed a smile while she tried standing on her own two feet. Luckily, Yuffie wasn't far behind Cloud, and the ninja helped Aerith maintain her balance for the moment. She blinked in confusion, lost for just a brief moment, then she saw Kadaj pushing himself to his feet, and she remembered. "Oh! I...I hugged him, so...so, I have to give you..." She shifted her eyes to Cloud, but then she felt her strength give out. Leaning heavily against Cloud now, she closed her eyes and murmured. "I think...I need to lie down..." Cloud's warmth wasn't doing anything to keep her awake, and she barely heard Kadaj ask his brother, Loz, if they could leave. Had she not been so tired, she would have protested. But she doubted she could play peacemaker any longer tonight.

So I guess a threesome is out of the question... Naturally. The schemer just had to find a way to get out of his imprisonment on the ground and take revenge upon Xigbar. He was impressed, for Zexion had for once in his life came up with a witty retort to something he said. Even if it had been overused to death. Then the pain stroke to the back of his head for a few seconds, his target of jokes disappearing. “Oh well, that was fun while it lasted,” he thought to himself, shrugging. There was still the girl, unconscious, but something felt wrong about messing with a sleeping girl. Of course, that was when it came to messing with, he didn’t warn people walking around about the obstacle, providing some form of entertainment in watching people trip, dodge, or just plain old step on her. Which there weren’t many of, to Xigbar’s disappointment. It didn’t take long for the girl to regain consciousness, standing up after someone had step on her fingers. He grinned at the prospect of her chasing down after the guy that had done that, but that grin faded slightly when she had evidently decided against that, instead turning her hang-over rage on him. “As if. He dumped both of us. Mostly you, but both nonetheless. Then he left,” he joked as he motioned to the entrance door through which Zexion had left the building. “He said some mean things about you by the way. That you got one hell of an s-drive he’s not willing to put up with ´cause his body is still pre-pubescent or something. Maybe he’s a eunuch? That'd explain the hair at least,” he wondered aloud, scratching the lower end of his chin with his right hand.

"THIS IS TERRIBLE!" -- Emi gave Xigbar a blank stare. " He dumped me," she echoed. Then, suddenly, it hit her. Her expression went from one of blank confusion to one of sheer panic. She grabbed Xigbar's shoulders and shook him. " I have no idea what you're talking about, but that must be because I'm out of my mind on tequila and Mountain Dew!" She burst into tears. Of course, she didn't remember ever doing anything like that with Zexion. Ever. It didn't occur to her that maybe Xigbar was lying. It also didn't bother her that he said "dumped us both", she was more concerned with "mostly you". In her mind, Zexion had left her because she was too out of it to remember they were even together! " I have to go find him and apologize," she hiccuped. She left Xigbar and started running (in a slightly zig-zaggy way, mind you) towards the exit. Once she reached the exit, she turned and stuck a middle finger in the air. " Later!" she shouted and kicked open the door. She found Zexion a few seconds later. She ran full force at him, and tackled him in a hug. " I'm so sorry! Xigbar told me everything!"

What Now? It was much quieter outside of the club, the air fresher and not quite as congested. Zexion had decided to pace about ten feet away from the building with his Lexicon open, his eyes scanning the pages and nothing else around him. He chose to wait until some of the crowd had dissipated and leaked outside of the club before taking any course of action; it would draw far too much attention to himself if he decided to use meteors on the building right now with people inside. For now, he would read.
He was about to flip the page before he was tackled for at least the second time this evening. His body instantly stiffened to this as he held onto the Lexicon in one hand, attempting to not fall over onto the ground. He did not even have to bother sensing who it was by scent; only Emi seemed to like tackling him this evening. She had apparently woken up from her short nap on the floor and most likely was going to drag him back into the building for another dance. He could not allow that this time.
He raised an eyebrow to her statement. "What did he tell you?" he asked simply, trying to get out of the hug that she had him trapped in. A Corridor of Darkness would not work in this situation since she was clinging to him, leaving him no other option. He wondered what Xigbar could have possibly told her to provoke her into apologizing to him. She still smelled strongly of alcohol, leading him to believe that Xigbar could have said just about anything and she would have felt bad for him. Maybe he should have just used meteors on the club when he had the chance.

I hope you hate yourself in the morning, Emi. -- If anything, his resistance made Emi squeeze him a little harder. After all, she was trying to avoid a complete break-up of this imaginary relationship. She didn't go into a total reinaction of the scene, thinking her next comment would be enough to clear things up. " I promise I will stop trying to have sex with you so much, just don't go!" Charming. She had no idea she was being lied to, no idea the kind of chaos she had created and was currently creating. If she were to stop and think about it, she would realize that that whole Kadaj vs Cloud feud was partially her fault. Then again, if she stopped to think about this night, she would probably want to shoot herself in the head. She would wake up in the morning with blurry, embarrassing memories. But she wasn't going to stop and think right now, was she? Nope. She nuzzled Zexion's neck and muttered more apologies. Briefly, she remember she hadn't paid for her drinks. Oh well. There were more important things at hand.

... What?! Well, his escape attempts were failing to work and he had no back-up plan. His attempts only made her hold onto him tighter. What made her want to hold onto him this evening? In past meetings, the only form of physical contact Emi made toward him was punching him in the face. Naturally, he was not opposed to her not punching him, though this hug was not exactly comfortable. He preferred to keep at least a two and a half foot distance between himself any person he chose to converse.
... What did she just say? His eyes widened to double their size and his mouth opened as he gaped in pure shock at the statement she just made. The Lexicon disappeared from his hand once more as he nervously swallowed. That was not... they did not... no they definitely did not do such a thing! Is that what Xigbar said? If he had a heart, it might be filled with rage and embarrassment; shock was all he could feel. He might also feel sorry for Emi because Xigbar manipulated her in her current emotional state, but he obviously could not.
"That... that is fine with me..." he managed to stutter. He could quite nearly hear his blood rushing faster because of all of this, his body stiff from the shock. "I... appreciate that. Thank you." His tone showed his attempt to gain his composure once more, which he had seemingly lost a few times this evening. He barely noticed her nuzzling into his neck, only hearing her mumbled apologies.
"Yes, I very much appreciate you telling me this Emi," he told her, gaining some of his composure back. He was not sure exactly why he was saying something like this, though he might as well play Xigbar's game. "I was beginning to grow weary. However, no more of this; I do not wish to discuss these sorts of things now. You need to get home." She needed to go home; he needed to destroy the club with meteors. It would be fun, would it not?

Is the Party Over Yet? Glaring at the two silver-haired brothers one last time, Cloud turned back to Aerith who was leaning progressively heavier and heavier on him. She was clearly slowly falling asleep. Or maybe very quickly falling asleep. It seemed like she was about to give him another kiss, when she apparently lost the last bit of energy she had. Secretly, he might have been a little disappointed to not get a kiss that wasn't practically an attack, but it really wasn't that big a deal. Who knew, maybe she would still be half as willing when she wasn't completely drunk. Hopefully... She suddenly declared that she wanted to lie down. He began to nod, before realizing that she couldn't possibly be aware of that with her eyes closed. "Sure." he replied rather quietly. "We can just go over there..." Evidently, in her current state Aerith wasn't going to be doing much walking on her own. Although not quite carrying her, supporting most of her weight he began steering her towards towards a comfortable looking couch surrounded by a few armchairs in one of the corners of the room, glancing back at Yuffie to signal her to follow them.

See Ya Later Losers Loz didn't really understand why Kadaj seemed at all confused with what he was doing. Obviously he was helping him by getting rid of Cloud's mean girlfriend for him. Maybe he was just confused about something else, like-- But before he had much time to think about it, his train of thought was broken by Cloud storming up and snatching the girl from him. Psssh, whatever. "Take her." he said, just to make it clear how much he didn't care. This way he didn't even have to figure out figure out what to do with her; Less work for him. And good riddance to her. Surprisingly enough, Cloud didn't seem interested in starting a fight. Heh, he was probably still scared of Loz after that punch to the gut. Yeah, well he better be. That would show him to mess with any of his brothers. Realizing Kadaj was talking to him, he looked down at him. So he wanted to leave. Well Loz still hadn't gotten anything to drink, but it didn't seem like anyone really wanted them though. "Okay. This club is lame anyway." Noticing that he wasn't standing up too quickly, he realized that Kadaj was probably too wasted to even stand up at this point. Leaning down, he picked up Kadaj into his arms, just like he had previously done with whatever-her-name-was, and started heading towards the door. "Let's go."

Yuffie was relieved to see that Cloud wasn't about to start a fight and that other guy wasn't either. It seemed like Kadaj was tired of this and Aerith wanted to lay down. So thankfully Cloud decided to help her move Aerith over to somewhere she could lay down. Yuffie followed after them, helping Cloud move Aerith over to the couch. Thankfully it wasn't that far and she helped lower Aerith onto the couch.
She then went ahead and plopped down onto one of the armchairs. "Whew, glad that's over with," she said aloud to both of them. "What a crazy night, don't ya think Cloud?" she asked him in a slightly teasing tone. She then turned her attention to Aerith. "Are you alright? Feeling better now that we got you on the couch?" Things were probably going to calm down now. Which kind of disappointed Yuffie, she was enjoying watching all the craziness that had happened so far. Oh well, maybe it was time for there to be some peace for a bit.
